According to incomplete statistics from the China Tourism Association (CAAPA), there were 199 key domestic cultural and tourism projects (over 100 million yuan) signed in June, involving theme parks, commercial complexes, and resorts, etc. The signing brief is as follows:

Quanzhou City 24 cultural and tourism projects signed
On June 25, the "Quanzhou City Cultural Tourism Industry Chain Project Investment and Financing and International Travel Agents Matching Event" was successfully held in Jinjiang. The subsequent concentrated signing ceremony of key cultural and tourism projects pushed the event to a climax, With a total investment of 21.84 billion yuan for 24 projects. These projects accurately focus on the contemporary expression of the cultural symbol of "Song and Yuan China· Maritime Silk Road Quanzhou ", and the industry covers diversified fields such as cultural tourism complexes, industrial tourism, and research and study bases.

Fuzhou City Signed 14 projects
On June 3, the "2025 Fuzhou International Investment Promotion Month Lianjiang County Special Session and Fuzhou Matsu Industrial Cooperation Zone Matching Conference" was held. The signing ceremony was divided into two special sessions: government-university-industry-research cooperation and Fuzhou-Matsu industrial projects. 14 projects were signed in total, with a total investment of 8.55 billion yuan ， covering scientific research and innovation, marine engineering equipment, cultural and creative copyright, cross-border e-commerce, deep processing of aquatic products, cultural tourism and health care, etc.
The government-university-industry-research cooperation session signed three cooperation agreements, including a special cooperation between Lianjiang County People's Government and Fuzhou University, in-depth cooperation between Lianjiang County People's Government and Fujian Business College, and the Gui'an New City integrated project, with a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan.
The Fuzhou-Matsu industrial project session signed 11 projects, including the Taiwan-Fujian cultural and creative copyright industry system and the "Stone Rhyme New Realm" cultural tourism new industry in Huangqi Town, Gushi Village. with a total investment of 3.05 billion yuan.

Including the Hubei Xianning Kale Carnival Cultural Tourism Integration Demonstration Project, the Xian'an District Xiangyang Lake Agricultural Cultural Tourism Industry Park Construction Project, the Jiayu County Lianjiang Lake Tea Bamboo Bay Scenic Area Project, the Chibi City Xuansuzong Scenic Area Improvement Project, and the Chongyang County Agricultural Cultural Tourism Integration Industry Park Project, etc.

On June 14, Liaoning Province's cultural, sports, and tourism industry special investment promotion event was held in Chaoyang City. A signing ceremony for projects themed on "hot springs," "hotels," and "ice and snow" was held on-site, with a total of 15 projects signed, with an intended signing amount of 7.318 billion yuan. Dalian signed two major projects: Jianhua International Culture, Sports, and Tourism Integrated Resort Hotel Cluster and Dalian Jinpu New District Ice and Snow Sports National Fitness Center, with a total signing amount of 1.989 billion yuan. Dandong signed the Ning Dandong Fengcheng Dongtang Hot Spring Ski Resort project.
Jianhua International Culture, Sports, and Tourism Integrated Resort Hotel Cluster Project With a total investment of approximately 1.6 billion yuan, it innovatively creates a world's first immersive park, a parent-child resort hotel, and a large indoor and outdoor water park, integrating multiple scenes such as technology, culture, sports, and research and study. The project planning always adheres to the principle of "coexistence with mountains and seas, and year-round tourism," truly allowing tourists to change from "passing by" to "staying," from "sightseeing" to "immersion," making Dalian the first choice for international resorts where people "don't want to leave after coming, and want to come back after leaving."
Dalian Jinpu New District Ice and Snow Sports National Fitness Center Project Located in Paotai Street, Jinpu New District, with a total investment of 389 million yuan. The project covers an area of approximately 340,000 square meters, mainly constructing an ice sports hall, a cross-country ski resort, and a public ski resort, and plans to host two individual events, curling and cross-country skiing, in the "15th Winter Games." The project builds a full industrial chain system covering ice and snow sports, events, and cultural tourism, which will effectively drive the national ice and snow sports boom, becoming the only coastal cross-country ski resort in China, filling the gap in high-standard ice sports venues in southern Liaoning.
Liaoning Ning Dandong Fengcheng Dongtang Hot Spring Ski Resort Project This project will rely on hot spring resources to create a year-round cultural tourism landmark integrating ice and snow sports, hot spring health care, and mountain leisure, a "skiing + hot spring" dual-habitat resort complex. After completion, the project will fill the gap in composite resort facilities combining "ice and snow + hot springs" in eastern Liaoning, promoting Dandong Fengcheng to create a national whole-region tourism demonstration area, and creating a new engine for the ice and snow economy in eastern Liaoning with an estimated annual output value exceeding 50 million yuan.

These projects cover various fields such as homestays, research and study, museums, intangible cultural heritage integration, tea culture tourism, rural complexes, hot spring resorts, and cultural creativity.

Yuncheng, Shanxi Signing Ceremony for 20 Tourism Projects
On June 26, the Salt Lake Salt Dream Corridor project investment promotion and introduction activity, themed "Millennial Salt Charm, Dream Starts in the Corridor," was launched in Yuncheng, Shanxi. 20 projects were signed on-site, with a total investment of 5.924 billion yuan.
During the signing ceremony, companies such as China Railway Third Bureau Group, the Shanxi Branch of the State Development Bank, and Huaying Cultural Tourism Group reached 20 cooperation agreements with Yuncheng's enterprises and units in the fields of cultural leisure, health and wellness resorts, research and study experiences, and digital creativity. Among them, many projects focus on the integrated innovation of "tourism + technology" and "tourism + health and wellness," and will promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional tourism industry through the creation of digital scenes and the development of immersive experiences.
On the afternoon of June 21, the Gansu Provincial Cultural Tourism Industry Chain Investment Promotion Conference, jointly hosted by the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Tianshui Municipal People's Government, was held in Tianshui City.
It is understood that a total of 29 projects were signed with a contract amount of 4.114 billion yuan. The projects cover multiple fields, including cultural experiences, hotels and homestays, rural tourism, and cultural tourism health and wellness.

It is understood that the signed projects include the Henan Provincial Tourism + Sports Integrated Smart Consumption Platform project, Zhengzhou Zhongmou Ice and Snow Happy Resort, Kaifeng Xiyuan Elegant Gathering, Jiaozuo City Tianhe Cultural Commercial Tourism Complex project, and Lüyuan County Chen Tuan Former Residence Scenic Area Complex project, 5 key cultural tourism projects covering ice and snow tourism, cultural landmarks, ecological health and wellness, and digital consumption, fully demonstrating the innovative and integrated development trend of Henan's cultural tourism industry.

On June 18, the 4th Shanghai Tourism Investment Promotion Conference was held at Shanghai LEGOLAND. Six key representative projects were signed, including the Shanghai International Tourism Resort North District Hilton Hotel, Shanghai Super Happy Valley, Bund Source Phase II - Bund New Power Super Fusion Street District, and Embodied Intelligent Tourism Robot Tourism Scene Application Project.
Among them, Sheshan Tourism Resort Shanghai Super Happy Valley projects plans to invest 2.6 billion yuan to complete the renovation of Shanghai Happy Valley within 8 years, including introducing new amusement facilities and creating new immersive performances. The Shanghai Super Happy Valley project is divided into four phases, upgrading and renovating some of the projects within Happy Valley. Phase one is to upgrade and renovate the existing Happy Valley's Hurricane Bay area, mainly to consolidate the young customer base aged 15 to 30. Phases three and four are mainly to create science fiction products with Chinese and national tide themes. Phase one will be completed in June 2027.

On June 11, the Yuanqu County 2025 Tourism Project Promotion event was successfully held at the County People's Hall. The event launched 23 key tourism projects with a total investment exceeding 2.7 billion yuan, and 8 projects were signed on-site.
It is understood that Yanqu County, aiming to establish a Yellow River Golden Triangle cultural tourism and health resort base, has launched a total investment of 23 boutique cultural tourism projects totaling 2.7 billion yuan from four dimensions: historical culture, leisure health, natural landscape, and integrated rural areas, striving to create four characteristic destinations. 23 high-quality cultural tourism projects with a total investment of 2.7 billion yuan are being developed to create four characteristic destinations. To create a cultural origin destination, key projects such as the Century Dawn Ape Museum and the Beibaige Archaeological Cabin are being launched; to create a research and exploration destination, the Yellow River Dawn Ape Bay and Daimei Lake Resort are being built, and scenic areas such as Lishan and Baima Mountain are being developed in depth; to create a health and wellness destination, the Zujiabawan Health Resort and Wangxian Health Resort are being carefully constructed; to create a destination for experiencing local life, the Wulongquan Rural Integrated Complex and the Ancient City Wetland Park are being developed.

On June 26, Wenzhou City held a signing ceremony for a group of major projects for the second quarter of 2025. Among them, the Taizhou County Lakeside Cloud Residence Resort Project was signed.
It is understood that the project has a total investment of approximately 1.78 billion yuan, with a core structure of "one path and three zones" (Forest Heart Nature Trail, Guiyun Mountain Residence, Mountain and Water Wilderness, and Secrets of Plants and Trees), covering tourism, agricultural sightseeing, and forest economy, promoting the integrated development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries. The project construction will be implemented in three phases over five years. Phase one includes the Forest Heart Nature Trail, with stargazing camping, cliff experiences, and a flying cableway; Guiyun Mountain Residence, including Guiyun Mountain lodging, Yongquan Pavilion, and an activity square. Phase two includes Mountain and Water Wilderness, including bamboo forest stilt houses, Yun Ding Lake, and a dreamlike forest. Phase three includes the Secrets of Plants and Trees, including an under-forest plantation, a creative under-forest community, an orchard, and a forest adventure park.

On June 30, the Shaoyang City Whole-Region Cultural Tourism Work Promotion Conference was held in Wugang City. At the meeting, 15 cultural tourism projects were signed, with a total investment of 1.455 billion yuan.
It is understood that the signed projects cover various fields, including scenic area development, agricultural tourism integration, and cultural tourism operation, and are being carried out in three rounds. On June 10, the Guangzhou Huadu District Xinqing Cement Plant Transformation Project was signed, marking the transformation of this 1980s industrial site into a cultural landmark integrating world-class art, architecture, and landscape, and a new cultural tourism consumption destination in the Greater Bay Area.
It is understood that the former Xinqing Cement Plant site is located in the Huadu Lake National Wetland Park. The project has a total investment of approximately 1.205 billion yuan, covers an area of approximately 50,000 square meters, and has an existing total construction area of approximately 40,000 square meters, with 36 industrial buildings retaining a unique light and shadow structure. It is planned to complete the conceptual design work in 2025 and strive to start construction in 2026. After completion, it will form a cultural tourism matrix with characteristic attractions such as the Huadu Lake Wetland Park, and is expected to attract more than one million tourists annually, driving regional employment and consumption upgrades.

A total of 14 cultural tourism projects were signed on-site, with a total investment of approximately 712 million yuan.

On June 19, at the 9th China-South Asia Expo and the 29th China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair, the Yulong County People's Government and Chaogongshi Cultural Tourism Development (Lijiang) Co., Ltd. signed an investment agreement for the Yuyuntai-Snow Mountain Art Hotel Project.
It is understood that the Yulong County Yuyuntai-Snow Mountain Art Hotel Project deeply integrates the magnificent scenery of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the unique Naxi culture, aiming to create a comprehensive cultural tourism hotel integrating characteristic accommodation, cultural experiences, and leisure and entertainment. The project has a total investment of 560 million yuan and is expected to become a new landmark for Lijiang cultural tourism in the future.

On June 17, the Yunding Mountain Lakeside Leisure Camp Project was signed at the investment promotion conference for the 8th World Min Merchants Conference in Nan'an.
It is understood that the Yunding Mountain Lakeside Leisure Camp Project has a total investment of 520 million yuan and covers an area of 800 mu. It fully utilizes the resources of Yunding Mountain and its surrounding small reservoirs and mountain ponds, combined with the surrounding high-quality environmental resources and village planning and development projects, to create a Yunding viewing camp, a visitor service center, tree house homestays, a lakeside camping base, a landscape observation deck, a Yunding light show, under-forest planting of Chinese herbal medicine, and an outdoor health and oxygen practice base.

The project will form a synergistic effect with surrounding attractions such as Xihe Ancient Town, jointly promoting the healthy development of the whole region tourism in Wan Zhe District.

On June 10, Guzhang County, Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province held a signing ceremony for the Baixiguan Tenglong Valley Scenic Area Development Project.
It is understood that the project has a total investment of 300 million yuan and will be built in three phases to create a comprehensive scenic area integrating "sightseeing experience, cultural display, and leisure vacation." The project plans to build characteristic facilities such as a visitor center, time tunnel, and starry sky camp. After completion, it is expected to receive 2 million tourists annually, effectively driving local employment and economic development.

On June 28, the signing ceremony for the thirteenth batch of enterprises to enter the Luoyi Ancient City area was successfully held.
It is understood that the 12 projects signed this time cover multiple fields such as homestays, hotels, cultural and creative industries, and catering. Among them, there is 1 street area project, 1 comprehensive project, 2 homestay projects, 4 cultural and creative projects, 1 hotel project, 2 catering projects, and 1 other project. The total construction area of the projects is approximately 22,600 square meters, with a total investment of approximately 227 million yuan. Construction will start immediately after signing.

"Fushan Fantasy Night" Digital Cultural Tourism Nighttime Economy Project Signing
On June 13, the signing ceremony for the "Fushan Fantasy Night" digital cultural tourism nighttime economy project in the Wild Buffalo Waterfall Grand Canyon of Wugong Mountain, Ji'an, Jiangxi Province was held.
It is understood that the total investment in this signed project is approximately 180 million yuan, with 69 million yuan invested in the first phase. The project excavates historical allusions such as Ge Hong's alchemy, Wu Gong's real person's blessing, and Wen Tianxiang's inscription, combined with natural landscapes such as Wild Buffalo Waterfall and Qinglong Waterfall. It uses Fukang culture, ecological culture, and science and technology tourism as the core IP to lead the way, using AR/holographic technology to create an immersive light and shadow show themed "Fushan Fantasy Night." It plans a 1.7-kilometer smoke and water trail with 20 interactive nodes, constructing five main show scenes such as Qinglong Youchuan and Yuexia Sheng Hui, innovating the "spiritual beast companion + real-scene Metaverse" experience mode, and forming an all-day tourism product of "daytime sightseeing and nighttime seeking blessings." The project aims to empower traditional culture with technology and create the first canyon real-scene light and shadow night tour benchmark product in the western part of Jiangxi Province.

On June 17, the Tianjin Jizhou District Zhouhewan AI Future City project was signed.
It is understood that the project, with a total investment of 120-150 million yuan, will deeply integrate marine culture and AI technology to create an innovative marine-themed tourism complex integrating marine life display, science education, leisure and entertainment, commercial supporting facilities, and themed resorts. The project's implementation will not only fill the gap in marine-themed businesses and science education in Jizhou District but will also further enrich the regional tourism product system, promote the optimization and upgrading of the tourism industry structure, and enhance the level of consumption.

June 26, Tuanfeng County held a June cultural tourism project signing ceremony, Daqishan Health Resort Construction Project Signing.
It is understood that the Daqishan Health Resort Construction Project, planned by Hubei Huayuan Tourism Co., Ltd., with a planned investment of 120 million yuan, relies on core brands such as "forest health, science and education research, rural experience, mountain climbing and exploration, and forest camping" to carefully create eight bases, gradually promoting Daqishan to become a leading brand of forest health in Hubei Province.

Xuyong County Southern Sichuan Miao Ethnic Group Medical Tourism Integration Development Project Signing
On June 29, the signing ceremony for the Xuyong County Southern Sichuan Miao Ethnic Group Medical Tourism Integration Development Project was held.
It is understood that the Southern Sichuan Miao Ethnic Group Medical Tourism Integration Development Project signed this time is a high-quality cultural tourism integration demonstration project that carefully develops the potential of Miao culture, ecological health preservation, and canyon resources. Its core highlight—the "Jiaocao Miao Ethnic Township Jiulongdong Canyon Drifting" project—has an estimated total investment of 110 million yuan, with a planned area of approximately 15 mu (including 6 mu of village collective construction land). It will construct a 9-kilometer ecological drifting river channel and will be equipped with high-altitude glass water slides, dream water corridors, fog forest systems, ecological flower corridors, and other characteristic facilities, aiming to provide tourists with an immersive and diversified experience of mountains, rivers, and humanities.
