According to incomplete statistics from the China Association of Travel Agencies (CAAPA), 12 key domestic tourism projects (over 100 million yuan) started construction in June, involving commercial complexes, resorts, and ancient towns. The signing brief is as follows:

On June 24, according to a message from the Xianju Release WeChat official account. The second phase of the expansion and improvement project of the Xianrenju Scenic Area, with a total investment of nearly 2 billion yuan, was officially launched. The project plans to use five years to build a world-class scenic area of "tens of millions and tens of billions," and to build an international tourism destination.
It is understood that the second phase of the Xianrenju Scenic Area expansion and improvement project will build two new cable cars, Fanzhengyan and Gongyu, and complete the Xitianmen-Fanzhengyan and Gongyu two major scenic areas. At the same time, it will renovate and upgrade the North Gate main entrance and construction. Gongyu entrance. After completion, the scenic area's daily reception capacity will jump from 30,000 person-times to 50,000-70,000 person-times, and direct revenue will increase from the 500 million level to the 1 billion level, becoming a "core engine" of Zhejiang tourism.

Zhejiang Zhoushan Baosheng Tourism Comprehensive Project Officially Commences Construction
On June 12, according to the "Putuoshan Management Committee," the Zhejiang Zhoushan Baosheng Tourism Comprehensive Project officially commenced construction recently.
The project has a total construction area of 114,810 square meters, a land area of approximately 37,039 square meters (56 mu), and a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan. It plans to build a comprehensive hotel with 632 rooms, a supporting Chan meditation cultural exchange center, and a large-scale conference and exhibition service center. At the same time, the project intends to create a new benchmark for Zhoushan coastal Chan meditation resort hotels by integrating the artistic conception of Chinese courtyards with modern architectural technology, promoting the upgrading of consumption capacity, and promoting the in-depth development of the integration of culture and tourism.

Zhejiang Haining Chang'an Tide Culture Resort Center and
Green City Qian Tang Wangjianglou Project Launched
On June 9, the launch ceremony of the Zhejiang Haining Chang'an Tide Culture Resort Center and the Green City Qian Tang Wangjianglou Project was held.
It is understood that the Haining Chang'an Tide Culture Resort Center and the Green City Qian Tang Wangjianglou Project have a total investment of nearly 1 billion yuan, a total land area of approximately 61 mu, and a newly built total construction area of more than 85,400 square meters. After completion, the project will create a comprehensive cultural tourism destination integrating tide culture display, artistic creation and exchange, tide-watching tourism and leisure, and commercial and business supporting facilities. In addition, the Haining Chang'an Tide Culture Resort Center will also provide a professional platform for the protection and inheritance of tide culture, allowing more citizens and tourists to gain a deeper understanding of the unique charm of tide culture through various forms such as exhibitions, performances, and lectures.
On June 16, the Suzhou St. Regis Hotel (Nisheng) project officially commenced construction.
It is understood that the Suzhou St. Regis Hotel (Nisheng) is positioned as a high-star hotel, with a total investment of nearly 500 million yuan, a total construction area of approximately 46,000 square meters, and a planned two to three floors above ground and two floors underground, with approximately 165 rooms. The project adopts a courtyard-style and group-style layout, combining houses and gardens to ensure that the overall environment and appearance are coordinated with the Pingjiang Historical and Cultural Street. At the same time, the project will continue the St. Regis Hotel's concept of "ultimate luxury, exquisite experience, and timeless elegance," deeply integrating ancient city cultural elements to create a luxurious landmark that combines international quality and oriental aesthetics.
Cicheng Ancient County Town Core Tourism Supporting Project Commences Construction
June 17, Ningbo Jiangbei Development Investment Group Co., Ltd. released a message. The Cicheng Ancient County Town South Tourism Distribution Center project, undertaken by Ningbo Jiangbei Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., has successfully obtained a construction permit, marking the official entry of the project into the substantive construction phase.
It is understood that the project has a total investment of approximately 402 million yuan, a planned land area of approximately 19,354 square meters, and a total construction area of approximately 33,000 square meters. It will be built as a core tourism supporting facility for the creation of the Cicheng Ancient County Town National 5A-level tourist scenic area, and will be built into a comprehensive tourism service center. The project integrates tourism reception services, cultural display, and transportation distribution functions, with supporting underground parking spaces, etc., and a new characteristic pedestrian overpass will be built to connect the visitor center building roof with the existing rail transit pedestrian overpass, realizing seamless connection between "Cicheng Rail Transit Station-South Tourism Distribution Center-Scenic Area Shuttle Bus-Scenic Area," greatly improving tourists' comfort and experience in ancient city tourism.
On June 25, Liangxi Cultural Tourism Group's official WeChat account released a message. The Qingming Ancient Bridge TOD project is planned to start construction at the end of June 2025. After completion, it will bring citizens a large-scale cultural and commercial tourism comprehensive experience integrating cultural ancient streets, characteristic businesses, folk customs sites, boutique hotels, and catering and entertainment.
It is understood that the project is located northwest of the intersection of Qingming Road and Yaodong Road, with a land area of approximately 22,600 square meters and a total construction area of approximately 43,700 square meters. It is planned to build 11 one-to-two-story commercial buildings and related supporting facilities. The total investment is approximately 350 million yuan.
On June 25, Liangxi Cultural Tourism Group's official WeChat account released a message. The Wuxi Jieguan New City project is planned to start construction at the end of June 2025. In the future, it will be built into a complex historical landscape area integrating canal culture display, market trade experience, cultural and creative research and incubation, and廉政 education. It will improve regional functional supporting facilities, build a "cultural display + commercial service + community life" compound function, and promote the integration of industry and city.
It is understood that the project has a land area of approximately 13,200 square meters and a total construction area of approximately 11,000 square meters. It is planned to build 9 one-to-three-story commercial buildings above ground and renovate 7 preserved buildings. The total investment is approximately 280 million yuan.

Guangxi Yulin Bobai County Shuangtouling Red Tourism Education Base Commences Construction
On June 2, Yulin Municipal Media Center released a message. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Guangxi Yulin Bobai County Shuangtouling Red Tourism Education Base was held in Santan Town.
It is understood that the Shuangtouling Red Education Base project covers an area of 1,160 mu, with a total investment of approximately 200 million yuan and a construction period of approximately 12 months. After completion, the project will integrate red education, research and study experience, and leisure and vacation, and will promote the development of local culture and tourism.
On June 13, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nalau Traditional Village Protection, Improvement, and Cultural Inheritance Demonstration Project in Guangxi Xilin County was held at the construction base in Nalau Town.
It is understood that the project has a total investment of approximately 190 million yuan and covers a total area of approximately 272 mu. It encompasses the core area of Gongbaofu, the Xiaoxiao and Xiaonv Pai Fang Street area, and the Gongbao Scenic Island. The main constructions include the protection and improvement of the traditional village of the Cen clan in Xilin County, the establishment of a research and education base for intangible cultural heritage in Southwest China, the Xilin County Filial Piety Culture Inheritance and Demonstration Experience Area, an ethnic handicraft production and research base, and a Xilin County agricultural culture research base.
On June 13th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Taohuatan Happy World project in Lixian County, Changde City, Hunan Province was held in the Taohuatan area of Lipu Street.
It is understood that the Taohuatan Happy World project plans to invest 120 million yuan, deeply integrating science education, smart experience, and ecological leisure functions. It aims to build a benchmark parent-child outdoor destination in Northwest Hunan. The first phase of the park covers an area of 39 mu and includes three sections: an ocean world amusement park, a non-powered amusement park, and a cruise terminal. The ocean world amusement park features amusement equipment such as a luxurious carousel, a dynamic cinema, and speed karts; the immersive non-powered amusement park includes projects such as an insect world, a climbing matrix, and a dream slide; and the ecological cruise terminal creates a poetic waterscape.
On June 19th, the construction of "Sanzhouli," a large-scale cultural, commercial, and tourism integrated project in Shunde, Guangdong, was launched. The project covers an area of approximately 76,000 square meters, with a total investment of 100 million yuan. It is planned to be developed into a waterfront cultural and tourism street area where visitors can "eat, play, and stay."
It is understood that the first phase of the "Sanzhouli" project adheres to the principle of "one axis and two veins, replicating the texture of the water town." Through the central water axis, it restores the natural river morphology of Shunde on a 1:1 scale. The live water system runs north and south, with landscape waterfront platforms, interactive fountain installations, and night water curtain projections, creating an all-weather participatory "flowing living room."
