According to incomplete statistics from the China Tourism Association (CAAPA), this week (July 1-7), there were 12 key tourism projects signed and updated domestically, with the highest signing amount of 7 billion yuan. The signing brief is as follows:

Signing of Hangzhou New Center Yintai Complex Project

On June 28, Yintai Group and the Yuhang District People's Government of Hangzhou signed an agreement. Yintai Commercial Management Group and Yuhang Chengtou Group will cooperate to invest 7 billion yuan to build a new commercial center in the central axis of Hangzhou's new center.

The "central axis" Yintai Center project plans to acquire approximately 290 mu of land to build an "in" series commercial complex, better meeting the consumption needs of young people. The project will also achieve interconnection with other commercial formats in the region, jointly creating a "hardcore" core urban commercial district.

Signing of 7 Tourism Projects in Zhejiang Nantaihu New Area

On June 28, a signing ceremony for tourism industry upgrading projects was held in the Zhejiang Nantaihu New Area. Seven tourism projects were successfully signed, with a total investment of approximately 1.8 billion yuan.

● The Piano Museum and Research and Study Base (Phase II of the Gumu Art Museum) project plans to invest 110 million yuan. The project includes parent-child research and study, piano exhibitions, and other formats. According to the plan, the project will be built into a characteristic museum with a piano theme.

● The Taihu Jiuyue (Sports Park) project has a total investment of 330 million yuan, creating a complex project featuring sports, including hotels and tourism.

● The comprehensive strategic cooperation project with Renmin Tourism has a total investment of over 300 million yuan. The new area and Renmin Tourism will carry out comprehensive and in-depth strategic cooperation in the investment, cooperation, development, operation, and joint investment promotion of tourism projects.

● The Fengchao Business Building Hotel project plans to invest approximately 310 million yuan. Phase I is planned to be located in the Fengchao Business Building, a mid-to-high-end hotel project, including accommodation, catering, and leisure and entertainment; Phase II is planned to be located in the Chen Banqiao Industrial Park, a wedding culture industrial park, including planning, banquets, and wedding peripheral product display and sales.

● The Heyan Yuese project has a total investment of approximately 150 million yuan. The project plans to build a "1+3+4+4+N" rice-themed leisure and sightseeing agricultural system, building a rice-themed agricultural park integrating rice field sightseeing, rural camping, farming experience, rural research and study, smart agriculture, and scientific research and innovation.

● The OCC (Open chat center) project has a total investment of approximately 300 million yuan. After completion, the project will become the largest cultural and entertainment complex in the country integrating Live House, PartyK, and luxury goods sales, becoming an important window for Huzhou to showcase its cultural charm.

● The Huzhou Langliz Hotel project has a projected total investment of 300 million yuan. The hotel plans to have 1-3 floors for the lobby, kitchen, a 1500-square-meter banquet hall, and small meeting rooms, with approximately 240 rooms.

Signing of the Genging Xiaozhai Seaside Flying Theme Park Project

On July 3, the signing ceremony for the Genging Xiaozhai Seaside Flying Theme Park project was held in the executive meeting room of the Dianbai District Government, marking the official arrival of another tourism project in Dianbai.

It is understood that the Genging Xiaozhai Seaside Flying Theme Park project is invested and constructed by Guangdong Genging Xiaozhai Tourism Investment Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 60 million yuan. The project is located in the Nanhai Street Office (former Maogang administrative office building) of Dianbai District, with a land area of approximately 152 mu. The preliminary plan includes an aviation sports experience area, a flight performance viewing area, a parent-child theme park, a parent-child amusement area, a beach happy kingdom, a beach theme camp, folk culture performances, a Dianbai seafood food street, and a Dianbai local products and agarwood exhibition hall. By fully utilizing the location advantage of the former Maogang government compound and combining marine element IP culture, it will create an integrated tourism project including amusement parks, accommodation, food, and education.

Signing of the K11 Art Shopping Center Operation Project

On the morning of July 2, Wenzhou held a concentrated signing and commencement ceremony for major projects in the second quarter, with 123 major projects with a total investment of 71.2 billion yuan being signed, including the K11 art shopping center operation project signed by the city's urban development group and K11 Group Ltd.

It is understood that the Wenzhou K11 art shopping center operation project is planned to be located in the F-02/08 plot in the core area of the Binjiang CBD. According to the official release of Lucheng, the Wenzhou K11 shopping art center project has a commercial area of approximately 80,000 square meters. Similar to the Hangzhou Wangjiang New City K11, it will be a shopping art center project, forming a commercial complex integrating art exhibitions, creative retail, and trendy activities. Currently, the Wenzhou K11 art shopping center operation project is still in the signing stage and requires land transfer or other further cooperation agreements to confirm the official launch of the project.

Signing of the CYTS Carnival Tourism Project

On June 24, the unveiling ceremony and signing ceremony for key projects of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Innovation Transformation (Dezhou) Center were held. At the ceremony, 20 key projects were signed, with a total investment of 11.6 billion yuan. Among them, the Carnival Tourism Project was signed by China CYTS Tours Holding Co., Ltd. and the Tianqu New Area Management Committee.

It is understood that this Carnival project focuses on "eat, drink, play, and have fun," and will be built into a popular project with content and scale. It will focus on the "solar energy town-Yangzhuang River" area, and based on the existing building clusters, it will be reused and renovated reasonably to activate and transform the site's entertainment attributes, helping to efficiently transform the Yangzhuang River area, creating a new tourism highland in the Tianqu New Area, and adding bright colors.

On July 1st, Guiding County's Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, and Tourism held a signing ceremony for the Yanzi Cave cave exploration project, marking the official launch of the Yanzi Cave cave exploration and development work.

On July 1st, Jiangsu Yaohu Town, after more than four years of construction, commenced its trial operation. As a key tourism project in Jiangsu Province, with a total investment of 13 billion yuan, Yaohu Town, with its unique charm of an ancient Jiangnan town, rich cultural experiences, and high-quality leisure facilities, will become a new benchmark for the development of Yixing's tourism industry.

It is reported that Yaohu Town, centered around Yixing's unique cultural elements of mountains, water, pottery, bamboo, and tea, combined with the project's rich tourism supporting facilities, can provide high-end, pure ecological, all-day, and diverse experiences and services, aiming to create a "unique theme park-style resort town".

In Yaohu Town, tourists can experience the ancient architectural style and tranquil atmosphere of the water town. The resort hotel cluster and international convention center within the scenic area can meet diverse high-end vacation needs, providing tourists with high-quality accommodation and conference services. It is understood that during the trial operation period, performances, hotel accommodation, catering, and recreational projects within the scenic area will be gradually opened, and more business formats will be continuously improved and developed in the future.

On July 1, 2024, Kunlewan Ice and Snow World officially opened. The project was funded by Handan JianTou Group and constructed by Shandong Forest Snow.

It is reported that this project is part of the Kunlewan International Tourism Resort, with a total investment of 4.5 billion yuan, covering an area of 900 mu (approximately 60 hectares), and a construction area of approximately 500,000 square meters. The Kunlewan Ice and Snow World has a construction area of approximately 26,000 square meters, with a main building 320 meters long, 60 meters wide, and 30 meters high. The first floor has skiing and snow play areas, while the second floor has an ice entertainment area. The skiing and snow play areas maintain a constant temperature of -5℃. The skiing area includes three ski slopes: a beginner slope approximately 57 meters long and 5 meters high, a primary slope approximately 75 meters long and 9.5 meters high, and an intermediate slope approximately 115 meters long and 20 meters high, with professional coaches providing one-on-one guidance. In addition, there are many classic amusement facilities such as pirate ships, bumper cars, Ferris wheels, and carousels, as well as modern electronic game projects, fully meeting the needs of tourists of all ages.

Foundation Laid for Taizhou Shiliangshanju Cultural Tourism Project in Zhejiang

On the morning of June 30th, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Shiliangshanju Cultural Tourism Project, located in the core area of the Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area.

It is reported that the project has a total investment of 3 billion yuan and covers an area of 349 mu (approximately 23 hectares). The Shiliangshanju project revolves around the concept of "cultural and tourism integration," using cultural resources as a starting point to create a world-class cultural and tourism benchmark. Firstly, a new tourism sector, with a core product being an ultra-5-star resort hotel—the Bailan Hot Spring Hotel, along with day-trip hot springs, Shanshusu Collection, and more than 10 other tourism products. Secondly, a new cultural sector, with the core product being the Dake Hall Cultural and Art Center, including the Autumn Rain Academy, Ando Space, He Youzhi Art Museum, and Comic Book Museum, among other cultural IPs. Thirdly, a new lifestyle sector, with core products being the Valley Concert Hall, Wenzhong Academy, Old Cigarette Museum, and World Spirits Museum, complemented by a waterfront commercial street and waterfront food collection, incorporating 17 cultural and tourism products.

Lianhuashan Dreamland Expected to Open in June 2025

Currently, 95% of the pile foundation construction for the Changchun Lianhuashan Dreamland project has been completed, 90% of the foundation pier construction, 30% of the foundation beam construction, and 25% of the foundation backfilling. It is expected to open in June 2025.

Lianhuashan Dreamland is a closed scenic area planned for development in three phases, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. The project is divided into seven functional areas, or seven kingdoms: the Kingdom of Women, the Kingdom of Snow, the Kingdom of Confucius, the Kingdom of People and Pets, the Warring States Kingdom, the Kingdom of Night, and the Kingdom of Peach Blossom. It integrates film and television worlds, game worlds, and scenic area worlds, both online and offline, with innovative business models and gameplay. Groundbreaking Ceremony for Bai Rong Jingsheng Hotel Cultural Tourism Project

On July 3rd, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bai Rong Jingsheng Hotel Cultural Tourism Project was held in Lunjiao, Shunde, Guangdong.

It is reported that the Bai Rong Jingsheng Hotel project has a total investment of 2 billion yuan and is one of the highlights of Lunjiao's construction of the Shunde "Water Rhyme Phoenix City" comprehensive demonstration area. Located on the prime section of "Hundred Miles of Fragrance" in Lunjiao, near National Highway 105, and boasting a first-line view of the Shunde waterway, it is one of the highlights of the Shunde "Water Rhyme Phoenix City" comprehensive demonstration area. It plans to build a 29-story star-rated hotel, a 29-story serviced apartment, a 4-story banquet hall, and a 4-story commercial street, which will effectively drive the gathering of nighttime cultural and tourism consumption.

Xinjiang Yining InterContinental Hotel Cluster Project Topped Out

On July 3rd, the main structure of the Xinjiang Huameishengdi Yining InterContinental Hotel cluster project was topped out. The project is located in Yining, Xinjiang, covering an area of 44,300 square meters, with a planned total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, and has currently completed an investment of nearly 300 million yuan.

It is reported that the Yining InterContinental Hotel cluster project consists of the InterContinental Hotel and the Holiday Inn Express, under the InterContinental Hotels Group. The InterContinental Hotel has 228 rooms, while the Holiday Inn Express has 280 rooms. The project also includes a 6,700-square-meter hotel conference center, with a maximum capacity of 1,000 people, aiming to create an "international city living room" to enhance the local tourism reception capacity and international image.

Phase One of the Three Kingdoms Cultural Industry Park Expected to Open at the End of September

On June 30, according to the Longnan Lixian Release WeChat official account. The first phase of the infrastructure project for the Three Kingdoms Culture Industrial Park in Lixian County, Longnan, Gansu, has currently entered the exterior decoration phase, with 98% of the image project progress completed. It is expected to complete all works by the end of July and open for operation by the end of September.

It is reported that the Lixian Three Kingdoms Culture Industrial Park project is planned to cover an area of 1,600 mu, with an estimated total investment of 1.386 billion yuan, and is listed as a key provincial project. The project is implemented in three phases. The first phase covers an area of 96 mu, with a total investment of 296 million yuan. The main construction content includes a comprehensive service area at the entrance, a Three Kingdoms Shu flavor commercial street, a Three Kingdoms culture town, supporting facility upgrade and renovation for the Six Exits from Qishan experience area, and road and pipeline expansion and renovation works. The first phase of the project started construction on August 28, 2022, and is now basically completed.

On the morning of June 27, the groundbreaking ceremony for the China Grand Canteen Tourist Leisure Block Project was held on the southern plot of Jianye Film Town in Zhongmou County, Zhengzhou, Henan.

According to the introduction, the project is positioned as a "tourism comprehensive supporting cluster linked to various scenic spots in the region," with a planned total construction area of approximately 80,000 square meters and an estimated investment of 1.2 billion yuan. It plans to build quality resort hotel clusters, ecological conference centers, waterfront micro-vacation commercial clusters, China Grand Canteen, and other characteristic formats, aiming to create a lodging complex integrating tourist accommodation, business meetings, and micro-vacations, improve Zhongmou's tourism facilities, and establish a new landmark for leisure tourism in Zhongmou.

Latest Progress of Fujian Qingshuiyan Hot Spring Resort

July 2, according to Anxi County Media Center news. Fujian Qingshuiyan Hot Spring Resort is currently undergoing internal infrastructure improvements and equipment debugging.

It is reported that Qingshuiyan Hot Spring Resort covers an area of over 200 mu with a total investment of 800 million yuan, and is a comprehensive tourism resort integrating hot spring wellness, leisure SPA, business meetings, parent-child entertainment, and other functions. After the completion of this project, it will improve the facilities of Qingshuiyan Scenic Area, enhance the quality of Penglai's culture and tourism, and further promote the high-quality development of our county's culture and tourism economy.

Hubei Suizhou Shanyue Suiren Mingyuzhen Hanok Resort Project

Expected to begin trial operation in mid-July

July 2, according to Suizhou Municipal Government portal news. The main project, hard and soft decoration, landscaping, security monitoring, and lighting for the Hubei Suizhou Shanyue Suiren Mingyuzhen Hanok Resort Project are in the final stages, with trial operation expected to begin in mid-July.

It is reported that this project has a total investment of approximately 300 million yuan, divided into five major sections: B&B vacation, dining and shopping, water entertainment and business tourism, and B&B experience. Currently, the main project has been completed, along with supporting facilities such as a 3.6-kilometer mountain hiking trail, lawn camping area, Baiguo Restaurant, lakeside coffee and tea bar. Interior decoration for the B&Bs is steadily progressing, with trial operation expected to begin on July 10 this year. The Shanyue Suiren Mingyuzhen Hanok Resort integrates accommodation, dining, meetings, camping, sightseeing, leisure and entertainment, and mountain resort wellness functions. Hengyang County: Clock Industrial Park Industrial Tourism Project

Expected to commence operations in July

July 4, according to Hengyang City Radio and Television Station news. The Hengyang County Clock Industrial Park Industrial Tourism Project, as one of the key observation projects for the third Hunan Tourism Development Conference, is currently under vigorous construction and is expected to be fully completed and put into operation this month.

It is reported that the Hengyang County Clock Industrial Park Industrial Tourism Project covers an area of 183 mu, with a total investment of approximately 170 million yuan. Construction content includes more than ten sub-projects such as a clock museum, sundial culture square, time post office, Nanyue watch sculpture, and supporting ecological parking lots and public toilets. The project has a total investment of 130 million yuan, primarily featuring projects such as a water fireworks music venue, musical fountain, lake water park, and stargazing night market. On July 3, Dongying Culture and Tourism Group released news. The Dongying Yellow River Delta Zoo's "Return to Jurassic" project started construction in May 2024 and is expected to begin trial operation around October 1.

The "Return to Jurassic" project is a Jurassic dinosaur high-tech immersive experience project jointly launched by Dongying City Culture and Tourism Group and Dalian Botao Culture and Technology Co., Ltd., divided into indoor and outdoor areas. Among them, the indoor dinosaur secret realm covers an area of 1600㎡, integrating science education and cultural entertainment, aiming to create a mysterious and realistic Jurassic dinosaur high-tech immersive experience project in Dongying, providing tourists with an immersive Jurassic entertainment and science education experience. The outdoor dinosaur valley covers an area of 5600㎡ and is divided into two areas: an expansion training camp and a dinosaur water battle boat. Will begin trial operation on July 13

On July 3, Wuhan SKP held a pre-opening mobilization meeting and officially announced that it will begin trial operation on July 13.

It is reported that Wuhan SKP is located in the core area of the Hanzheng Street business district in Wuchang District. It was transformed from the original Hanzheng Street Wanda Plaza and the second district of Chuhe Hanzheng Street. It has a total construction area of 200,000㎡ and a business area of approximately 150,000㎡. It is the fourth SKP established nationwide by Beijing Hualian Group. Wuhan SKP continues the product line positioning of Beijing Hualian Group SKP, aiming to become a world-class fashion landmark. The architectural style of the project is based on the image of "the vermillion bird spreading its wings and flying north". The commercial building area reaches 188,000㎡. The project is expected to introduce more than 260 brands, covering boutique department stores, indoor ice rinks, independent bookstores, rooftop gardens, vegetable food market themed spaces, and Forbidden City cultural and creative pan-art spaces, among other commercial highlights.

On July 1st, the Lizhou Island night tour project of Putian Water Bus in Fujian Province commenced. This project is the first night tour project of the water bus and will feature a holographic 3D stereoscopic laser projection.

It is understood that the Lizhou Island night tour project of the water bus is 2.5 kilometers long. The project invited Mei Shuaiyuan, the famous director of China's first landscape and water-based real-scene performance "Impression Liu Sanjie," to plan eight scenes, creating the water bus's "Dreamy Lizi Water Town Night." Passengers can take the water bus through the "Water Gate Time and Space" created by holographic 3D stereoscopic laser projection, watch scene after scene of "water curtain movies," and appreciate the night view lights decorating the "fantasy forest." In addition, the eight scenes of the night tour project will change according to the seasonal theme. For example, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, one can appreciate the poetic "Ask the Moon When Will It Be Full."
