On the afternoon of December 21, Rucheng County, Hunan Province, held a cultural tourism investment promotion conference at Junlian Huatian Hotel. Nine major cultural tourism investment projects were centrally signed at the conference, involving immersive digital entertainment, agricultural-cultural-tourism complexes, high-end guesthouses, cultural tourism and health-preserving industry chains, red education complexes, and other fields, with a total contract value of nearly 3 billion yuan.

From December 24-25, Guangdong Province's cultural tourism industry investment promotion "Entering Cities" series of activities came to Shixing, with the first stop, the Shaoguan Shixing special matchmaking session, successfully held.

At the event site, Shixing County signed two cultural tourism projects with a total investment of 700 million yuan with the Guangzhou Branch of China Huaxi Engineering Design and Construction Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Qianzhihe Group Co., Ltd.

10 Cultural Tourism Projects Sign to Enter Luoyang Old City

On December 23, the ninth batch of enterprises to enter the Old City historical area of Luoyang signed contracts, with 10 projects officially signing on.

The 10 projects signed this time have a total investment of nearly 80 million yuan and a total building area of approximately 8,300 square meters, covering diverse cultural tourism formats such as guesthouses, cultural creativity, and catering. Among them, the Xitang · Guochao Aesthetic Guesthouse project focuses on traditional Chinese aesthetics, actively exploring the "guesthouse+" model, and will create a multi-format combined space integrating themed guesthouses, wedding services, Hanfu experience, and wedding travel photography.

Yugong Yung谷 Agri-Cultural Tourism, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province

Complex Project Signed

On December 20, the Yugong Yung谷 Agri-Cultural Tourism Complex Project in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, was signed. It is reported that the Yugong Yung谷 Agri-Cultural Tourism Complex project will be built according to tourism scenic area standards, becoming an integrated agri-cultural tourism complex combining agricultural research, ecological tourism, pastoral sightseeing, leisure camping, health and wellness, and sports. Phase I construction and operation are expected to be completed by September 30, 2025, and the project is expected to attract approximately 200,000 tourists annually.

Sunac inspark Signs Guangxi Chongzuo Chengnan Commercial Complex

On December 23, Sunac Commercial teamed up with Guangxi Chongzuo Urban Construction Investment Development Group Co., Ltd. to hold a Sunac inspark cooperation signing ceremony at the Chengnan Commercial Complex in Chongzuo City.

The project covers an area of 44,300 square meters, with a total building area of 88,000 square meters and a commercial area of 35,000 square meters. In the future, Chongzuo Sunac inspark will be positioned as "commercial retail linked with cultural tourism and local characteristics," comprehensively enhancing the regional commercial value. Sunac Commercial will drive the project's renewal and upgrade, which will encompass four core functions: commerce, entertainment, dining, and cultural experience. Relying on the border commercial market, it will strengthen its footprint, with the mission of creating infinite happy spaces, focusing on multi-category, high-quality, and distinctive formats and brands, creating innovative and diversified consumption scenarios, satisfying the living and consumption needs of urban residents, strengthening the linkage between commerce and cultural tourism, and becoming an important platform for serving brand consumption, connecting urban cultural tourism, and also an important window for strengthening commercial and cultural exchange and mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Vietnam.

Zhangjiajie Lishui Water Amusement Project Signed in Hunan

On December 24, Zhangjiajie Maoyan River Tourism Development Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with Xishuangbanna Yongsheng Tourism Development Co., Ltd. and Zhangjiajie Yongzhong Tourism Development Co., Ltd. for the Lishui Water Amusement Project.

It is reported that the Lishui Water Amusement Project will develop and operate water amusement activities such as jet boats and jet skis, as well as onshore tourism services, along the urban section of the Lishui River. It aims to complement the "water" element in Zhangjiajie's "three thousand strange peaks and eight hundred beautiful waters," striving to enrich Zhangjiajie's tourism product offerings, extend the tourist consumption chain, and generate good economic and social benefits.

Officially Opened

The main tower, "Asian Hearts," is located on the main axis of the park. The tower body is composed of staggered ice columns, inspired by the official emblem of the Olympic Council of Asia. The heart of the tower is in the shape of a sun, symbolizing the vigorous development of Asia and Asian sports. The park has nine sections: Ice and Snow Dream Zone, Asian Hearts Zone, East Asia Zone, Central Asia Zone, West Asia Zone, South Asia Zone, Southeast Asia Zone, Snow Mountain Light and Shadow Zone, and Ice and Snow Fun Zone. It recreates in ice and snow the landmark landscapes of 42 countries and 3 regions that are members of the Olympic Council of Asia. ‍‍

It is reported that the Meets the Mountains and Seas City Resort has a total investment of 950 million yuan, covers an area of more than 30 mu, and has a total construction area of 69,000 square meters. The project design takes mountains and seas as its soul, uses "Deer IP" as its chief brand dream officer, and takes "immersive" as its core experience. It centers around a water park, a cool and fun trendy playground, an e-sports amusement area, a "Shan Hai Jing" bookstore, a music square, restaurants, hot springs, and hotels, creating a super city cultural tourism resort complex integrating fashion, design, music, art, theater, performances, digital trendy play, and e-sports.

Fan Nanling Tourism Resort Project Commences Construction

On December 19, the Fan Nanling Tourism Resort Project's centralized commencement ceremony was held in Nanling Town, Fuzhou, Fujian Province.

It is reported that the Fan Nanling Tourism Resort will create a tourism resort area centered on Damushan Mountain, with Nanling Town as its main body and surrounding towns and streets integrated. It includes a series of key projects such as Damushan Road, phases 1-4 of the Mountain and Sea Grassland Sightseeing Trail, the Fengdong Stone Thousand-Mu Mountain Wild Park, and the Damushan Grassland Cleaning, Greening, and Afforestation Transformation. The project has a total investment exceeding 200 million yuan and aims to transform the Fan Nanling area into a high-quality tourism resort integrating leisure, sightseeing, health preservation, and summer vacation.

Beijing Haidian Joy City Officially Opens

On December 21, Beijing Haidian Joy City officially opened. It is reported that Haidian Joy City is located between the fifth and sixth ring roads in the northwest, at the southwest corner of the intersection of Cuihu South Road and Yongfeng Road, adjacent to the Xishan mountain range and across the river from the north courtyard of the Palace Museum. Aiming to build the capital's first "mountain-based life trend center," it emphasizes integration and symbiosis with humanities and ecology, with unique highlights including a micro-vacation atmosphere and cultural IP symbols. The commercial building area is 188,000 square meters, with five floors above ground and two underground, introducing more than 280 merchants, ranging from fashion retail and diverse dining to children's education and entertainment and innovative micro-vacation life experiences, creating a one-stop, diverse shopping experience.

Main building inside the park is basically completed

According to the Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, the Oriental Jurassic "Dinosaur Planet" started construction in June 2022. Its Phase 1 supporting buildings were topped out in December 2022, and the construction and installation engineering will be completed in November 2024, meeting the conditions for completion acceptance. As of the end of November 2024, the Phase 2 site has completed the pouring of the underground garage floor, and the main building units have achieved ±0 construction. The main structure of the underground floor is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. It is planned to be completed and opened in 2027.

"Oriental Jurassic" is located in the east of the China Dinosaur Park Tourism Resort, with a total planned area of about 1,600 mu and a total investment of 4.6 billion yuan. It will focus on developing Dinosaur Planet, Star Space City, a creative headquarters, a waterfront ecological park, and multiple themed resort hotels, forming a new generation of national-level comprehensive tourism resort. Among them, the Phase 1 project, "Dinosaur Planet," will create more than 10 innovative, high-tech, immersive experience projects, such as the "Heart of Life" disaster prevention and mitigation comprehensive hall, the "Crisis 60 Minutes" stunt stage, the "Big Bang" live-action interactive talk show, and the "Escape from Death" immersive ride, integrating disaster prevention and mitigation safety education with immersive entertainment experiences.

Investing 500 million yuan in renovations, Xingji World Nanhu Park to begin trial operation at the end of the month

Recently, Guo Dajie, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangdong Tourism Control Group, revealed that Guangdong Tourism Control Group invested 500 million yuan in the renovation and development of "Xingji World Nanhu Park," a park integrating tourism and technology, which will begin trial operation at the end of December and officially open in January 2025.

After the renovation, Nanhu Park was renamed "Xingji World Nanhu Park." The new park abandons the traditional theme park model, using a science fiction story as its foundation to create an immersive entertainment experience. The first phase of the park covers an area of 150,000 square meters and is the first RPG science fiction theme park in China.

Zhongshan Happy Coast Qiyu Shiguang Park trial operation

On December 25, Zhongshan Happy Coast Qiyu Shiguang Park, located in Shiqi Street, began its trial operation and is scheduled to officially open on December 28. The project was invested and constructed by Huaqiao City Group Co., Ltd. and jointly operated with Guangdong Jinma Amusement Equipment Co., Ltd.

It is understood that the Qiyu Shiguang Park, based on the concept of "parallel time and space," features four themed areas: Prophecy Secret Realm, Tribal Alliance, Galaxy Jungle, and Future Stars. It offers 23 amusement and check-in projects, covering various types including outdoor, indoor, mechanical, and non-powered attractions. These include China's first hybrid cabin flying tower, South China's first double-arm "Time and Space Knight," a vertically lifting "drifting river," and innovative amusement equipment such as a mine cart with integrated light and sound effects.

Wuhan Chengjian Water World Kaiyuan Senbo Resort has completed its main building construction

According to reports, the Wuhan Chengjian Water World Kaiyuan Senbo Resort, located in the Sino-French Peninsula of Wuhan, has completed its main building construction and entered the decoration phase. With a tropical island theme and a constant temperature of 30℃, the water park, the size of four standard football fields, will open to the public in the second quarter of next year. Upon completion, it will be the largest all-weather water park in Central China.

The entire project covers a construction area of nearly 120,000 square meters and includes various tourism formats such as high-end hotels, characteristic wooden houses, specialty restaurants, high-end business, and entertainment experiences. It is a resort complex centered around a water park. The four-season indoor water park covers 9,000 square meters and will maintain a constant temperature of 30℃, allowing for year-round enjoyment regardless of the weather. According to the plan, it will feature thatched huts, coconut trees, artificial surfing, and a surfing pool; the outdoor water park will showcase the rich tropical village, beach, forest, and island style of Tahiti, with features such as a "giant bowl + giant python" slide combination, a 207-meter-long popular straight slide and rapid river, and a dedicated children's water play area.

Zhuhai Jinhu Happy World to open during the 2025 Spring Festival

Zhuhai Jinhu Happy World is scheduled to open during the 2025 Spring Festival. The project has a total investment of 16 million yuan, covers an area of over 5,000 square meters, and aims to create an amusement destination suitable for teenagers and children.

It is understood that the park plans to include 12 amusement projects, integrating exciting, fun, and heartwarming elements. Among them, the 48-meter-high Ferris wheel with air conditioning offers panoramic views of the park and the city; Zhuhai's first glass water slide unlocks the thrill of water sliding. In addition, there are amusement facilities such as the Shark Island Battle, Disco Turntable, Magic Mirror Palace, Rotating Tower, and Space Walk, enough to satisfy children's pursuit of fun and adventure.
