According to the latest announcement from Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Nanhu Park, carrying countless childhood memories of old Guangzhou residents, is about to be reborn, with an expected opening on New Year's Day 2025. At that time, a sci-fi themed park named "Star Epoch World · Nanhu Park" will make a stunning debut, leading us into a new stellar era with its unique sci-fi sentiment and future vision.

Nanhu Park is located at No. 983, Tonghuo Road, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, covering an area of 250,000 square meters, with the main amusement area exceeding 110,000 square meters. Since its opening on September 28, 1985, it has been renowned alongside Oriental Park, World Wonders, and Aerospace Wonders, hailed as "one of the four major parks in Guangzhou," and becoming the "happy planet" in the hearts of countless Guangzhou people.

The renovated park will take New History Galaxy No. 983 parallel universe creation Yuan Earth Star Gate Special Zone as its background, creating "Nanhu Park NH983," the first sci-fi scenario-based amusement theme park in China. Under the park's new positioning and model, visitors will enter an online and offline combined real-scene sci-fi game world, activating camp missions through interactions with different amusement equipment, performances, and NPCs, exploring together, collecting story fragments, and completing missions.

Currently, Nanhu Park is undergoing a transformation, with upgrading and renovation in full swing. The design team, with extraordinary imagination and creativity, cleverly blends dreamlike and futuristic elements, constructing six major sci-fi scenes: Star Gate Corridor Bridge, Future Plaza, Core Maze, Enlightenment Forest, Cloud Water Stage, and Nebula Restaurant, creating a series of immersive experience spaces for visitors.

In Star Epoch World · Nanhu Park, visitors will first cross the Star Gate Corridor Bridge, transforming into brave Star Epoch adventurers, welcoming unknown interstellar challenges and adventures. As night falls, giant spaceships will stage a dazzling light and shadow show, bringing visitors a visual feast. In the Core Maze, visitors will solve interactive puzzles one by one, exploring the surprises hidden deep within the maze. The Enlightenment Forest is a mysterious world where visitors will explore the secrets of the forest, and may even encounter mysterious figures, embarking on a thrilling hidden mission.

As night falls, large-scale interactive live dances will ignite the passion and vitality of the entire park. Light shows, dancers, and DJs will jointly present breathtaking performances. The Nebula Restaurant will present itself in a brand-new look, providing visitors with delicious food while also allowing them to feel the charm of the fusion of future technology and environmental protection.

Star Epoch World · Nanhu Park also integrates multimedia technology and characteristic interactive designs, creating three major amusement projects: Photon Voyage, Space Ladder, and Star God Hall. In Photon Voyage, visitors will ride a roller coaster through a 303-meter photon track, experiencing the ultimate thrill of weightlessness, inversion, and centrifugal force. The Space Ladder allows visitors to overlook the entire park's scenery from a height of 58 meters. The Star God Hall is a mirror-surrounded space full of artistic beauty, where visitors can lie down and watch mysterious stories from outer space, engaging in a time-traveling dialogue with extraterrestrial civilizations.

The new Nanhu Park will bring a brand-new worldview and gameplay, inviting visitors to participate in a role-playing game in the form of invitations, experiencing immersive real-scene gameplay. Interacting with on-site performers, visitors can choose different camps, explore different worldviews based on different storylines, and discover more Easter eggs. At the same time, the new park also features a wealth of amusement facilities, allowing visitors to enjoy the fun of the game while better integrating into this new interstellar world.

The Phase 1 project of the new park is expected to begin trial operation at the end of this year and officially open on New Year's Day 2025. The Phase 2 project is also under planning, and will create an amusement group of "multiple digital worlds," bringing visitors an even richer and more colorful immersive sci-fi experience.

Currently, the project is nearing completion, and the main project is entering the final stages. On-site, you can see The park's main entrance, full of sci-fi feel and resembling a spaceship, has basically taken shape, and the three-dimensional sculptures in front of the entrance have also been built. On-site workers are carrying out the final decoration and paving work.

To cooperate with the return of Nanhu Park, The traffic on the road section opposite the park will be optimized and adjusted. It is reported that the Baiyun District Housing Construction and Transportation Bureau plans to gradually carry out the closure of road openings and U-turns, adjust the lane functions of Tonghuo Road, add a dedicated right-turn auxiliary road from east to west, improve the non-motorized vehicle waiting area and dedicated traffic lights, and other optimization and adjustment measures on the Tonghuo Road - Nanhu Park road section in the near future.

According to the optimized traffic, the existing openings on the road section opposite Nanhu Park will be closed, prohibiting U-turns and left turns. Vehicles need to detour through the existing U-turn points upstream and downstream of this road section.

As one of the key construction projects at the provincial, municipal, and district levels, Star Epoch World · Nanhu Park will become an important support point for Baiyun District in building a 10-billion-yuan cultural tourism industry cluster. After completion, it will effectively activate the commercial atmosphere of the Nanhu area and create an innovative digital park integrating cultural tourism and digital creativity. In the future, Nanhu Park will strive to become a new cultural tourism landmark for the entire district, city, province, and even the country, injecting more cultural, technological, and fashionable elements into Baiyun District.
