According to incomplete statistics from the China Tourism Association (CAAPA), this week (March 8-14), there were 26 key cultural and tourism projects with domestic signings and updates, with the highest signed amount of 6.6 billion yuan. The signing briefing is as follows:

Signing of the New Olympic Fashion Metropolis Project
On March 13, the New Olympic Fashion Metropolis project officially signed and landed in Zhengzhou High-tech Zone. The project has a total investment of approximately 6.6 billion yuan and plans to develop the New Olympic commercial complex, brand hotels, high-end talent apartments, high-end medical and health care clusters, and high-end fashion residences in stages within three years, creating a comprehensive consumer leisure and cultural complex integrating shopping, tourism, and cultural experiences.
The first phase of the project will invest approximately 3 billion yuan, constructing a new Olympic industrial complex, brand hotels, and high-end talent apartments covering approximately 300,000 square meters. It will rely on the Xiaoshuangqiao site area to build a full-scenario ecosystem of "offline immersive experience + online digital consumption," creating a three-in-one urban complex of "cultural landmark + consumption engine + digital highland."

Signing of the Anhui Qianshan Longyun Tianzhu Mountain Cultural Tourism Project
On March 7, Qianshan City, Anhui Province held a signing ceremony for a group of investment attraction projects in the first quarter of 2025.
Among them, the Longyun Tianzhu Mountain Cultural Tourism Project is located in the Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area in Qianshan City, covering an area of 1000 mu, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The project, themed "Anhui-style water town, beautiful Jianghuai," will be built into a cultural and technological tourism complex integrating film and television production, leisure tourism, art and culture, and interactive film and television experiences.

Signing of the Sinopec Shunyi Oil Depot Transformation Project
According to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Sinopec Shunyi Oil Depot transformation project has been signed and is currently undergoing preliminary procedures. With a total investment of 800 million yuan, the project will use the original eight oil tanks as its core, introducing elements such as mobile space capsules and train carriages to create eight themed living experience spaces, including cultural and creative offices, trendy shops, and children's entertainment, creating a city cultural living room integrating culture, business, retail, catering, and leisure.
It is understood that the project is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Shunping Road and Shunbai Road. The current asset status is the Sinopec Shunyi Oil Depot, which has been idle for many years. The eight large oil tanks have a total volume of approximately 30,000 cubic meters, and there are existing warehouse buildings, fire truck garages, and office buildings with a total area of approximately 7,000 square meters. It is planned to be transformed through the "Shunyi District Sinopec Oil Depot Urban Cultural and Leisure Living Room" project.

Signing of the Chengdu Taiyang Gongyuan Cultural Tourism Street Project
On March 13, the centralized signing ceremony for modern service industries and urban industrial projects in the five central districts of Chengdu (Shanghai Station) was held. Three projects were signed in Chengdu, namely the Chengdu Bailian Outlets project, the Jinjiang International Group Taiyang Gongyuan Cultural Tourism Street project, and the Guo Keguangxin Southwest Artificial Intelligence Headquarters project.
It is reported that the Jinjiang International Group Taiyang Gongyuan Cultural Tourism Street project is located in Building C of Taiyang Gongyuan on the first section of East Yihuan Road in Chengdu. With a planned investment of 300 million yuan, it will create a unique high-end hotel. The hotel has a planned above-ground building area of approximately 32,000 square meters, with 21 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, designed to five-star standards.

Signing of the Pingle County Jiali Cultural Tourism Waterbo Yaozhai Luxurious Vacation B&B Project
On March 12, the Pingle County People's Government and Foshan Jiali Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. signed the Jiali Cultural Tourism Waterbo Yaozhai Luxurious Vacation B&B project. The total investment of the signed project is 300 million yuan.
It is understood that the Waterbo Yaozhai Luxurious Vacation B&B project will be invested and constructed in Sichong Village, Dafa Yao Nationality Township in our county, constructing 28 hot spring B&B courtyards, combining catering, rafting, picking, and parent-child vacation and other multiple business formats.

Seven key cultural and tourism projects signed in a concentrated manner
On March 12, the 2025 Suxici Science and Technology Industrial Park Investment Environment Briefing was held in Shanghai. The event signed a total of 30 projects with a total investment of nearly 15 billion yuan. Among them, seven cultural and tourism projects were signed in a concentrated manner, covering diversified business formats such as national defense education, high-end health care, and sports events.
Including the Zhongbing Culture National Defense Education Project, Hilton Hotel, Gujing Group Cultural and Commercial Tourism Project, International Equestrian Club Project, Brand Chain Hotel Project, Boutique Business Hotel Project, and Space Capsule Characteristic Cultural Tourism Project Among them, the Zhongbing Culture National Defense Education Project will build a high-standard national defense education research and training base here to popularize national defense knowledge.

Signing of the Yellow River Scenic Line Aerial Panoramic Sightseeing Project
On the afternoon of March 13, 2025, the signing ceremony for the Yellow River Scenic Line Aerial Panoramic Sightseeing Project was held at the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Line Large Scenic Area Management Committee.
The project has a total investment of 20 million yuan. After the project is put into production, it can provide 120 jobs and is expected to achieve an annual turnover of 60 million yuan. The project organically combines tourism with unmanned aerial vehicle high-altitude panoramic technology. Through two routes, Zhongshan Bridge—Waterwheel Expo Park—Wanghe Pavilion and Zhongshan Bridge—Mother Yellow River—Yellow River Tower, unmanned aerial vehicles will take photos and transmit video images in real time. Tourists can watch the high-definition images taken by unmanned aerial vehicles in real time on VR terminal devices on the ground, as if they were in the air overlooking the scenic area, experiencing the beautiful scenery of the Yellow River Scenic Line firsthand.
Signing of the Land Cruiser Haimen Jian Gong Lake Project
On March 13, the cooperation signing ceremony for the Land Cruiser Haimen Jian Gong Lake project was held in Beijing.
It is understood that the main construction area of the Jian Gong Lake land cruise project is approximately 48,000 square meters, with supporting commercial streets, a greenhouse botanical garden, a football town, an e-sports base, and residential areas. The project is expected to officially start construction in June 2025 and officially open in 2027. As a new cultural and tourism landmark, this project is different from traditional scenic spot tours, ancient town tours, and traditional resort products in regional markets such as Shanghai Disneyland. It offers four ultimate experiences: "water play, amusement park, leisure, and food." Through the design of ten product sections, it aims to create a "happy family vacation that satisfies everyone," becoming a "land cruise happy port."

Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony
On March 7, Zhejiang Television and China Haicheng Film and Television City held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony for the "Running Man Amusement Park." It is understood that the Running Man Amusement Park is the third phase of the China Haicheng Film and Television City project. Its core area officially started construction in June 2023, covering an area of approximately 700 mu (approximately 46.7 hectares). It is an innovative all-season, all-weather cultural tourism complex integrating theme entertainment, film and television shooting, leisure and vacation, and creative industries. The park is expected to open to the public in May this year.
In the future, Zhejiang Television's well-known variety show "Running Man" will integrate deeply with China Haicheng Film and Television City through program recording, star interaction, and scene reproduction, creating a new variety show park model of "exciting variety shows, happy running." China Haicheng Film and Television City will make full use of its real-scene venues, actively introduce variety shows for on-site recording, and provide related scenes and service support.
Lukeng Tianhu Agricultural, Cultural, Tourism, Health, and Wellness Resort Town, Jiangmen, Guangdong

On March 7, Tianhu Economic Joint Community of Lukeng Town, Xinhui District, Jiangmen, and Zhuhai Huihua Boya Company officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the "Lukeng Tianhu" Agricultural, Cultural, Tourism, Health, and Wellness Resort Town project in Xinhui District.
Tianhu Economic Joint Community and Xiangchuang Countryside Company jointly established an operating entity, building a full-chain system of "resource integration-product design-commercial operation." The project will plan two characteristic investigation routes, covering the core dimensions of rural revitalization such as organizational construction, industrial upgrading, and talent cultivation. It will create a composite business model of "health and wellness resort + neighborhood commercial + tertiary industry demonstration," with eight major public service facilities including a visitor center. It will form a production-education integration ecosystem with the Greater Bay Area Vocational Education City, which will open in September, and is expected to receive over 50,000 research and study tourists annually.
Global "First Street" of Lion Dance IP Project Project Signing
On March 13, Foshan Meili Xintianyi Commercial Management Co., Ltd. and Dalian Botao Culture and Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly create the "Global First Street of Lion Dance" IP project in Meili Xintianyi, Nan Zhuang Town, Chancheng District.
It is understood that the project will plan and construct an immersive experience scene themed on the lion dance IP, combining lion dance cultural resource development, giant lion king performances, cultural and creative product sales, and trendy fashion commerce. This will not only effectively activate the potential value of local land resources and promote the optimization and upgrading of the regional industrial structure, but also build a cultural display platform where traditional crafts and modern commerce intermingle, opening up new paths for the development of Chancheng's cultural tourism industry.

Kunlun Mountain Scenic Area, Xinjiang: Creation of
National 5A-Level Tourist Scenic Area Project Commences Construction
On March 9, the launch ceremony for the Kunlun Mountain Scenic Area's creation of a national 5A-level tourist scenic area project was held.
To create a 5A-level scenic area, the Kunlun Mountain Scenic Area will implement 24 basic project improvement projects this year, covering tourism transportation, tourism facilities, tourism services, and tourism safety, with an estimated investment of 660 million yuan.
It is introduced that the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region's Kunlun Mountain Scenic Area is jointly built by the Kunlun Sacred Realm (Banlange) Scenic Area in Cele County, Hotan Prefecture, and the Kunlun Mountain Grand Canyon Scenic Area of the 14th Division, First Pasture, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Both are national 4A-level tourist scenic areas, with a total area of 596.39 square kilometers.

Tianjin Sino-Singapore Eco-City Haibo Junlan Resort Hotel Officially Commences Construction
On March 13, Tianjin's WeChat official account reported that the Sino-Singapore Eco-City Haibo Junlan Resort Hotel, located east of the Tianjin National Museum of Marine, officially commenced construction, entering the on-site pile foundation construction phase. The hotel is scheduled for completion in December 2026.
It is understood that the Haibo Hotel covers an area of 1.75 hectares and integrates various functions such as accommodation, dining, meetings, fitness, and leisure entertainment. In terms of architectural design, the hotel continues the "fish leaping into the sea" marine theme design concept of the Haibo Museum. The hotel's shape draws inspiration from various marine elements such as ships, corals, and seahorses. Through wave-like flowing curves and layered stepped structures, it creates a "ship-shaped" building. While embodying the concept of "ship entering the sea," it echoes the "fish leaping into the sea" shape of the Haibo Museum, giving tourists a vast imagination of "facing the sea."

Jinan Tianqiong Zhijing Extreme Cultural Tourism and Leisure Base Project Commences Construction
On March 12, the "Tianqiong Zhijing Extreme Cultural Tourism and Leisure Base" project in Changqing District, Jinan, officially commenced construction.
It is understood that the "Tianqiong Zhijing Extreme Cultural Tourism and Leisure Base" project has a total investment of 230 million yuan. Leveraging Changqing District's unique natural resources and location advantages, it organically combines abandoned mine restoration with cultural tourism development to create a comprehensive cultural tourism and leisure base integrating extreme sports, leisure entertainment, and ecological sightseeing. After completion, the project will not only effectively solve the ecological problems left by abandoned mines, but will also further extend the cultural tourism industry chain, injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of Changqing District's economy.

Guangdong Xinfeng Public Culture Living Room Tourism Distribution Center Project Commences Construction
On March 13, the "Xinfeng Public Culture Living Room" tourism distribution center project, with an investment of nearly 50 million yuan, officially commenced construction.
It is understood that the project covers an area of 9,486 square meters and has a construction area of 6,371 square meters. The project's planning and design combines the site's characteristics, using "Xinfeng's Boat, Sky Garden" as the overall design shape. It will construct a three-story composite single-building, showcasing Xinfeng's urban construction, industrial development, regional culture, and characteristic intangible cultural heritage.
Hancunhe, Fangshan District, Beijing, will be developed into a mountain and water leisure resort town
The "Fangshan District, Beijing, Hancunhe Town National Spatial Plan (2020-2035)" has recently been approved. Hancunhe Town will be developed into a high-quality ecological mountain and water leisure resort town in southwest Beijing, a tourism service town that inherits historical and cultural heritage, and a science and technology innovation town with integrated agricultural and tourism development.
Hancunhe Town is located in the southern part of Fangshan District, at the geographical center of the three major cultural functional groups of Zhoukoudian, Liulihe, and Yunju Temple, and is a gateway node on the Beijing-Baodi-Shijiazhuang development axis. The plan proposes to construct a whole-region spatial structure of "three hearts leading, two corridors connecting, three areas coordinating, and multiple points supporting". In terms of industrial development, Hancunhe Town takes the cultural tourism and leisure industry and modern agriculture as its important engine industries, high-end service industries as its innovative opportunity industries, and comprehensive service industries as its supporting basic industries. This includes several nodes such as the Shangfang Sacred Land Leisure Garden, the Tiankai Cultural Health and Wellness Resort Camp, and the Gushan Pass Shallow Mountain Ecological Agriculture Demonstration Park, forming an overall industrial pattern of integrated cultural tourism and agricultural tourism development in the west and east.
Conghua, Guangzhou plans to build the Liuxi International Rural Sports Park
According to the Conghua District Bureau of the Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, Conghua District will leverage its high-quality outdoor sports resources and advantageous projects to plan and construct the Liuxi International Rural Sports Park, aiming to create a global high-quality sports tourism resort with the most diverse experiences, driving rural revitalization and integrated urban-rural development.
The Conghua Liuxi International Rural Sports Park project takes all-terrain sports, mountain marathons, and kayaking events as its foundation, adhering to ecological development and low-intensity utilization. Centered around "one village, one ring, one mountain and water", it integrates mass sports and professional sports into the mountain and water ecology, forming a sports park that blends international style with local flavor. It plans three professional sports parks for all-terrain sports, youth tennis and pickleball, and water sports, and five mass sports parks for basketball, Gaopu Chuangzhi Valley reservoir sports, lychee forest orienteering, micro-terrain sports, and model aircraft sports, forming a "3+5" system of small sports parks, providing diverse event experiences and meeting all-season sports needs.
The demonstration section of the "Ten Miles of Canal" project opens
iQiyi Theme Park launches
On March 13, the opening ceremony of the demonstration section of the "Ten Miles of Canal" project and the global launch of the iQiyi Theme Park were held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province.
As iQiyi's first offline theme park project, the iQiyi Theme Park will take "technology empowering IP, immersive experience" as its core, featuring a fully immersive experience integrating Chinese film and television IPs with cutting-edge digital technology, creating a new immersive entertainment experience space centered on film and television themed IP experiences. According to the plan, the iQiyi Theme Park will consist of seven sections: a fully immersive theater, a holographic light and shadow space, an immersive performing arts theater, film and television scene interaction, NPC interactive experience, party time MR games, and themed activities. At the same time, it will also include supporting businesses such as themed catering and IP derivatives, which will help attract young customers and international tourists, and promote the coordinated development of local tourism and consumption. The iQiyi Theme Park is expected to open this year.
Hangzhou Linping Fangxingdu Micro-Vacation Tourism Complex
Planned to open next year
March 12, Hangzhou Voice WeChat official account news. The Hangzhou Linping Fangxingdu Micro-Vacation Tourism Complex project is under construction and is scheduled to officially open in 2026.
The project covers an area of approximately 615,000 square meters and is designed and constructed according to the standards of a national 5A-level scenic area. It is divided into four functional areas: a tourism gathering and service center, a high-end Zen meditation center, an Ouhuazhou Song Dynasty culture center, and a Banjing Pavilion conference center. It provides tourists with one-stop food, accommodation, transportation, travel, shopping, entertainment, and tourism services and experiences, and will be developed into the first domestic all-scenario immersive micro-vacation complex integrating Song Dynasty culture, Jiangnan culture, and canal culture. Using Chinese traditional culture as its creative background, it recreates the grand scene of the ancient ferry crossing of Linping Fangxingdu in Southern Song Dynasty Hangzhou, aiming to create the first Song Dynasty culture immersive experience center in the Yangtze River Delta, an integrated base for micro-short drama industries in the Yangtze River Delta, and a phenomenal micro-vacation tourism destination in Hangzhou.
Fuzhou Qishan Lake Park Ferris Wheel
Expected to officially open on May 1
March 12, according to Fuzhou Daily. Qishan Lake Park, the Ferris wheel in the park has been completed and is currently undergoing equipment debugging. It is expected to officially open on May 1.
The Ferris wheel is part of the Qishan Lake Parent-Child Creative Paradise project. The overall height is about 42 meters, each cabin can accommodate 4 people, and there are a total of 24 cabins. At that time, visitors can overlook the panoramic view of Qishan Lake from a high altitude and experience the unique charm of "Fuzhou's largest ecological lake". In addition, the Parent-Child Creative Paradise covers a total area of about 20,000 square meters, mainly including powered amusement facilities, non-powered amusement facilities, nature and animal displays, and visitor-animal interaction experiences.
Hubei Yingshan Jinjiapu Town Sanshuitian
Ecological Farm Comprehensive Development Project Starts
On March 9, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Sanshuitian Ecological Farm Comprehensive Development Project in Jinjiapu Town, Yingshan County, Hubei Province was held.
It is understood that the Sanshuitian Ecological Farm Comprehensive Development Project covers a planned area of 56 mu, including 24 mu of construction land, covering a variety of businesses such as planting and breeding bases, research and study bases, water entertainment facilities, and starry sky camping houses. After completion, the project will become a comprehensive demonstration project integrating ecological agriculture, leisure sightseeing, research and study education, and cultural experience.
