The May Day holiday in 2025 is approaching. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism reminds all tourists:
1. Plan your trip in advance. Before traveling, pay attention to the weather and traffic conditions of the places you will pass through and your destination, and plan your travel route and time reasonably. Choose travel agencies with business qualifications and do not go to undeveloped, unsafe areas. Closely monitor the security situation and precautions of outbound tourist destinations and do not go to high-risk areas.
2. Strengthen safety precautions. For self-driving tours, confirm the vehicle condition, do not speed, do not drink and drive, and do not drive while fatigued. When traveling by car, fasten your seat belts at all times. When taking sightseeing boats, wear life jackets as required. Be cautious when participating in high-risk activities such as high-altitude, high-speed, and water activities, and strictly follow the instructions of professionals.
3. Beware of fire hazards. Strictly abide by the venue's fire safety and various safety management regulations. In the event of an emergency, listen to the guidance of on-site personnel. During outdoor activities, do not smoke, barbecue, or use open flames in areas where flammable materials such as lush vegetation and leaf piles are concentrated or where there are fire prevention warnings.
4. Travel civilly and rationally. Observe laws, regulations, and public order and good customs. Follow the instructions for visits and tours, cooperate with staff guidance, and be patient and courteous during peak hours or traffic congestion. Pay attention to service standards and quality, identify travel guide information, rationally choose travel products, and beware of "unreasonably low-priced tours." Maintain good hygiene habits, practice the "clean plate" campaign, and advocate "green" travel.
