As a key tourism project in Jiangsu Province, the Phase Two project has a total investment of approximately 5 billion yuan and a total construction area of 300,000 square meters. The plan includes an indoor ski resort that breaks several "world's best" records, two international themed hotels, and six super entertainment projects. It aims to create the world's largest, highest-quality, and most complete one-stop ice and snow themed resort destination.

The core of Phase Two project - Alps Snow World Phase Two, will break four physical dimension records and one technological revolution: the world's longest indoor ski slope at 650 meters, the world's steepest ski slope at 100 meters, the world's longest ski slope at 1777 meters, the world's largest snow field cold zone at 100,000 square meters, and the world's first AI snow field system. Artificial intelligence will achieve dynamic control of snow quality and temperature and humidity across the entire area, and optimize visitor experience through digital services.

Phase Two project breaks away from the single function of traditional ski resorts, constructing a composite consumption scenario through a "2+6" business model matrix. The Aurora and Glacier themed hotels create immersive accommodation experiences with "ski-in/ski-out" access and polar exploration themes respectively; Polar Ocean Park, Snow Adventure Park, Hot Spring Water Park, Mini Park, SKY PARK, and the Qi Hang Banquet Show Six entertainment projects cover diverse needs such as family, adventure, and healing.

Among them, the Qi Hang Banquet immersive performing arts dinner show and the SKY PARK high-altitude park enrich the consumption scenarios of night tourism products in the Yangtze River Delta. This "ice and snow + ocean + hot spring + performing arts" mixed mode achieves all-age coverage and all-weather operation, making the project a true "three-day, two-night" resort destination.

The exterior design is inspired by "Auspicious Clouds and Ruyi," echoing the "Snow Ruyi" in the Chongli competition area of the Beijing Winter Olympics. This design is both a modern expression of traditional Chinese culture and implies the industrial layout logic of "Northern competition, Southern leisure." After the completion of Phase Two, Taicang will form a super tourism complex with "dual snow field linkage, five hotel clusters, and seven entertainment projects loop," becoming a rare four-season ice and snow resort hub in the Yangtze River Delta.

As a strategic fulcrum of "Shanghai's next stop," the project leverages the high-speed rail's half-hour transportation circle to accommodate the consumption overflow of the Yangtze River Delta and links with the 147,000 annual inbound crew resources of Taicang Port. At a more macroscopic level, Phase Two will form an "ice and snow + ecology + culture" product line with the Changjiang Forest Exploration Park, Shaxi Ancient Town, and other local attractions, promoting Taicang's transformation from transit tourism to in-depth tourism.

The "ice and snow economic ecosystem" emphasized by Fosun Tourism CEO Bao Junjiang is gradually taking shape through derivative businesses such as equipment retail, event operation, and themed catering, and is expected to drive the formation of an industrial cluster with a scale exceeding 10 billion yuan in the surrounding areas.

After completion, the Taicang Alps Resort will become the world's largest one-stop ice and snow themed destination. Its significance lies in exploring the sustainable development path of the ice and snow industry in the post-Winter Olympics era. This project is a key leap from "Golden Taicang" to "Silver Ice and Snow," and a new benchmark for the trillion-yuan consumption market in the Yangtze River Delta. As the "Cloud Ruyi" rises in Jiangnan, this city once known for its granaries is now boiling with enthusiasm for "snow," providing a new paradigm for the upgrading of China's tourism industry.
