According to incomplete statistics from the China Tourism Association (CAAPA), this week (June 13-20), there were 49 key cultural and tourism projects signed and updated domestically, with the highest signed amount of 2.6 billion yuan. The signing briefing is as follows:
Intentionally signed amount reached 7.318 billion
On June 14, a special investment promotion event for the cultural, sports, and tourism industry in Liaoning Province was held in Chaoyang City. A signing ceremony for projects themed "hot springs," "hotels," and "ice and snow" was held on-site, with a total of 15 projects signed, with an intended signing amount of 7.318 billion yuan. Dalian signed two major projects: Jianhua International Culture, Sports, and Tourism Integrated Resort Hotel Cluster and Dalian Jinpu New District Ice and Snow Sports National Fitness Center, with a total signing amount of 1.989 billion yuan. Dandong signed the Ning Dandong Fengcheng Dongtang Hot Spring Ski Resort project.
Jianhua International Culture, Sports, and Tourism Integrated Resort Hotel Cluster Project With a total investment of approximately 1.6 billion yuan, it will create the world's first immersive park, family resort hotel, and large indoor and outdoor water park through innovation, integrating multiple scenes such as technology, culture, sports, and research studies. The project planning always adheres to the principle of "coexisting with mountains and seas, and being open all year round." It truly allows tourists to change from "passing by" to "staying," from "sightseeing" to "immersion," making Dalian an international resort destination where people "don't want to leave after coming, and want to come back after leaving."
Dalian Jinpu New District Ice and Snow Sports National Fitness Center Project Located in the Paotai Street of Jinpu New District, with a total investment of 389 million yuan. The project covers an area of approximately 340,000 square meters, mainly constructing an ice sports hall, a cross-country ski resort, and a public ski resort. It is planned to host two events: curling and cross-country skiing for the "15th Winter Games." The project builds a full industrial chain system covering ice and snow sports, events, and cultural tourism, which will effectively drive the national ice and snow sports boom, becoming the only coastal cross-country ski resort in China, filling the gap in high-standard ice sports venues in southern Liaoning.
Liaoning Ning Dandong Fengcheng Dongtang Hot Spring Ski Resort Project This project will rely on hot spring resources to create a year-round cultural and tourism landmark integrating ice and snow sports, hot spring health preservation, and mountain leisure, a "skiing + hot spring" dual-habitat resort complex. After completion, the project will fill the gap in composite resort facilities combining "ice and snow + hot springs" in eastern Liaoning, promoting Dandong Fengcheng to create a national whole-region tourism demonstration area, and creating a new engine for the ice and snow economy in eastern Liaoning with an estimated annual output value exceeding 50 million yuan.

On June 18, the 4th Shanghai Tourism Investment Promotion Conference was held at Shanghai LEGOLAND. Six key representative projects were signed, including the Hilton Hotel in the north area of Shanghai International Tourism Resort, Shanghai Super Happy Valley, the Bund Source Phase II - Bund New Power Super Fusion Street Block, and the Embodied Intelligence Cultural Tourism Robot Cultural Tourism Scene Application Project.
Among them, Sheshan Tourism Resort Shanghai Super Happy Valley Project With a planned investment of 2.6 billion yuan, it will complete the renovation of Shanghai Happy Valley within 8 years, including introducing new amusement facilities and creating new immersive performances. The Shanghai Super Happy Valley project is divided into four phases, upgrading and renovating some of the projects within Happy Valley. Phase one is to upgrade and renovate the existing Happy Valley's Hurricane Bay area, mainly consolidating the young customer base aged 15 to 30. Phases three and four are mainly to create science fiction products themed on Chinese style and national tide style. Phase one will be completed in June 2027.

On June 19, at the 9th China-South Asia Expo and the 29th China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair, Yulong County People's Government and Chao Gongshi Cultural Tourism Development (Lijiang) Co., Ltd. signed an investment agreement for the Yu Yun Tai - Snow Mountain Art Hotel project on-site.
It is reported that the Yulong County Yu Yun Tai - Snow Mountain Art Hotel project deeply integrates the magnificent scenery of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the unique Naxi culture, aiming to create a comprehensive cultural and tourism hotel integrating characteristic accommodation, cultural experience, and leisure and entertainment. The project has a total investment of 560 million yuan and is expected to become a new landmark for Lijiang's cultural tourism in the future.
On June 17, the Yunding Mountain Waterfront Leisure Camp project was signed at the special investment promotion conference of the 8th World Min Merchants Conference in Nan'an.
It is reported that the Yunding Mountain Waterfront Leisure Camp project has a total investment of 520 million yuan and covers an area of 800 mu. It fully excavates the resources of Yunding Mountain and its surrounding small reservoirs and mountain ponds, combining the surrounding high-quality environmental resources and village planning and development projects to create Yunding viewing camp, visitor service center, tree house homestay, waterfront camping base, landscape observation deck, Yunding light show, under-forest Chinese herbal medicine planting, and outdoor health and oxygen practice base.

On June 18, the Altay City People's Government and Xinjiang Culture and Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.

It is reported that the project has a total investment of approximately 402 million yuan, a planned land area of approximately 19,354 square meters, and a total construction area of approximately 33,000 square meters. It will be built as a core tourism supporting facility for the creation of the Cicheng Ancient County Town as a national 5A-level tourist attraction, becoming a comprehensive tourism service center. The project is jointly developed by China Resources Vanke Life and Anhui Zhidian. This is not only the first time that China Resources' "Tiandi" series products have landed in Hefei, but also the first time that a 24-hour dining and entertainment street has been built in Yaohai District.
It is understood that the "Yaohai Tiandi BY MIXC" project has a total volume of 600,000 square meters and covers a variety of functions, including a shopping center, landmark office buildings, a humanistic art district, a star-rated hotel, and a high-end residential area. June 16, Taizhou released WeChat public account message. The Kuacuang Yunjing (Sky City) project has made new progress. The overall appearance of the project has taken shape, and it is expected to be fully completed before National Day 2026 and opened to the public free of charge.
It is understood that the project covers an area of approximately 15.15 hectares and has a total construction area of approximately 26,000 square meters, covering three areas: the foot of Kuacuang Mountain, the mountainside, and the mountaintop. Currently, the construction progress in each area is going smoothly. Relying on the natural beauty and rare landscape of Kuacuang Mountain, the project takes "resort accommodation + outdoor experience + mountaintop sightseeing" as its development direction. After completion, it will become a summer resort in the clouds in the Yangtze River Delta region, with an estimated annual tourist reception exceeding 1 million.
Anhui Hefei Baixicity Project

On June 18, a visit to the front line of major construction revealed that the Anhui Baixicity has passed the completion acceptance and will soon appear in a brilliant posture to officially meet with the general public.
It is understood that this project, as a major venue project jointly built by the province and city, mainly includes a professional acrobatics theater with approximately 1,200 seats, a local opera theater with approximately 500 seats, a multi-purpose theater with approximately 400 seats, and supporting ancillary facilities such as rehearsal rooms and management offices.
Pu'er 1735·Outlet Town
Main project officially enters final stage
June 19, Pu'er Simao District official platform released the news. The exterior facade of the Pu'er 1735·Outlet Town project has been completely presented, and the interior decoration and equipment installation and debugging work are progressing steadily. The workers are focusing on various final tasks, making final preparations for the project's official debut.
Currently, the project is progressing smoothly, the initial inspection has been successfully completed, and the main project has officially entered the final stage. It is understood that the Pu'er 1735 Cultural Tourism Commercial Street District improvement and transformation project takes Pu'er tea culture as its core theme, integrating a themed sky street, a national tide market, a light and shadow square, and a travel apartment, forming a culturally creative commercial gathering area that integrates catering, leisure and entertainment, boutique retail, and national tide fashion.

On June 17, the "Earth Life Theme Park" project, a pilot demonstration area of the Xiaoshiqiao Township Xiangshui Village agricultural, cultural, tourism, and rural comprehensive body, was officially launched in the Yunnan Yuxi Longma Cave Scenic Area.

Suzhou "Gusuyeyuhua" Water Night Tour Project Launches Maiden Voyage
On June 18, the "Gusuyeyuhua" water night tour project launched its maiden voyage at Qimen Wharf in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
It is understood that this water tourism project, which took three years to develop, upgrades the 3-kilometer waterfront from Pingmen to Qimen into an immersive cultural experience zone integrating historical and human elements, Suzhou local customs, and technological lighting effects. The project uses "Suzhou Memories" as its inspiration, blending poetic scenery with dreams, ancient melodies with modern times. Using the moat and the landscape architecture along both banks as a medium, it delves into the thousand-year-old Wu culture, incorporating cutting-edge smart lighting technologies such as 3D naked-eye holographic imaging, onboard "movies," and water lighting installations, along with film montage-style artistic techniques, to lead tourists to experience the millennial wisdom of human-city symbiosis.
One Piece Theme Park Project
To Launch in Shanghai on July 10
On June 16, the "Le You Shanghai" WeChat official account announced that the One Piece Adventure Carnival Shanghai Station will land in Shanghai from July 10 to August 31. Located in the Pudong Sanlin Eel Mouth Riverside Green Space, it will create a tens of thousands of square meter immersive play space.
As the first comprehensive carnival project in Asia that integrates entertainment experiences, themed dining, leisure interaction, peripheral shopping, and live performances, this park uses the One Piece animation plot as its main storyline, innovatively designing an original Straw Hat Crew experience route, and specially launching a confrontational gameplay between the pirates and the navy. The scene also incorporates interactive games created with AR/VR technology, allowing players to deeply immerse themselves in the world of One Piece animation.
