Shanghai Happy Valley transforms into Super Happy Valley
On June 18, the 4th Shanghai Tourism Investment Promotion Conference was held at Shanghai LEGOLAND. Shanghai Super Happy Valley, Six key representative projects signed agreements, including the Shanghai International Tourism Resort North Area Hilton Hotel, the Bund Source Phase II - Bund New Power Super Fusion Street Block, and the Embodied Intelligence Cultural Tourism Robot Cultural Tourism Scene Application Project.
Among them, Sheshan Tourism Resort Shanghai Super Happy Valley The project plans to invest 2.6 billion yuan to renovate Shanghai Happy Valley over eight years, including introducing new amusement facilities and creating new immersive performances. The Shanghai Super Happy Valley project is divided into four phases to upgrade and renovate some of the projects within Happy Valley. Phase one will upgrade and renovate the existing Happy Valley's Hurricane Bay area, mainly to consolidate the young customer base aged 15 to 30. Phases three and four will mainly create science fiction products themed around Chinese style and national tide style. Phase one is scheduled to be completed in June 2027. Plans to introduce Asia's first standing roller coaster in phase five. 。
Hu Wei, general manager of Shanghai Happy Valley, revealed that more importantly, as a Chinese-owned theme park brand, Shanghai Happy Valley will focus on introducing national tide IPs and highlighting Chinese elements. "We hope to compete with many international brand theme parks on this international stage in Shanghai and showcase the unique charm of Chinese theme parks."
