According to official sources, the large-scale cultural tourism project of Zhengzhou OCT is currently under construction by OCT, based on the transformation of the Xushu River's water ecological environment, supported by the operation of the characteristic cultural tourism industry, and using methods such as combined development with CITIC Tourism to promote the effective integration of the Xushu River ecological environment governance project and related industries of the commercial tourism project, and to promote it in a coordinated manner.

The planning of OCT's large-scale cultural tourism project has been underway for several years, with relatively slow progress. Now, the project has been included in the key tasks of the street office in 2024, and most importantly, the bid results for the conceptual planning and design of the Xushu River and theme park have been announced.
As early as 2023, in the announcement of Zhengzhou's key construction projects with a total investment of 1.08 trillion yuan, there was the large-scale cultural tourism project of Zhengzhou OCT built by OCT Group.
The Zhengzhou OCT project is located in the western part of Zhengzhou's main urban area, with abundant tourism resources but lacking a major IP. In addition to this project, the local area is currently promoting the Jingxiangcheng Ruins Park, the Chinese Civilization Theme Park, the Suohe Wetland Park, the museum cluster, and the CCD Central Cultural District.
