On May 28, Puy du Fou SAGA City of Light officially announced the commencement of its trial operation, inviting citizens and tourists to experience this "offline real-life movie", with the story immediately unfolding within the "city".

Located in Xuhui District, Shanghai, the Guangda Convention and Exhibition Center was once a significant landmark building. After a long transformation, Puy du Fou, a French cultural tourism giant and a global leader in historical and cultural performances, has created its first urban center performance series brand project in the west wing of the Guangda Convention and Exhibition Center—"Puy du Fou SAGA City of Light".

Puy du Fou SAGA City of Light is a project supported by the Xuhui District Cultural Development Special Fund. With a total investment exceeding 650 million RMB and a total area of 46,000 square meters, it is committed to providing a brand-new "offline real-life movie" experience. Each visitor feels as if they are immersed in a real-life performance, embarking on a new immersive entertainment experience, and is expected to become another model of urban renewal in Shanghai.

It is particularly noteworthy that on May 29, Puy du Fou SAGA City of Light successfully challenged and broke the Guinness World Record with an indoor performance area of 12,110.833 square meters, being certified by Guinness World Records as the "largest immersive theater in terms of performance area".

From May 29 to June 17, the trial operation introductory price for Puy du Fou SAGA City of Light is available on the official "City of Light" WeChat mini-program, official website, and major official online and offline ticketing platforms, at an introductory price of 298 RMB/person (including drinks).

With over 150 resident actors, 50 large-scale movie scenes, and over 1300 types and 26,000 pieces of vintage props creating a visitor experience.
