On June 27, the 2024 Ningbo Cultural Tourism (Shanghai) Promotion and Industrial Investment Promotion Conference was successfully held.
This promotion and industrial investment promotion conference is the first stop in a series of investment promotion activities by the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, and it is also the first large-scale thematic investment promotion conference for cultural and tourism projects held outside of Ningbo. 15 cultural and tourism projects were signed on-site, involving the construction of cultural and tourism complexes, hotel and commercial development, and the co-construction of MICE tourism destinations, with a total investment of 89.77 billion yuan.

It mainly builds a rural comprehensive development project integrating research and study bases, characteristic agriculture, and characteristic fruit industry. June 25, 2024 (Netherlands time), During the Jiangsu Provincial Delegation's visit to the Netherlands, Dianshan Lake Town and "Fanny & Tern"'s cooperation partners in China officially signed a project cooperation memorandum with Qishan Dianshui Cultural Tourism Enterprise Management (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zhejiang Qi Yuan Industrial Management Co., Ltd., to clarify the cooperation framework between the two parties in developing the "Fanny & Tern" themed farm.
It is reported that, the project covers an area of about 300 mu (approximately 20 hectares), and is planned to be a comprehensive business format of "wetland park + resort farm," including six themed worlds, covering more than 60 recreational projects such as farm theaters, themed flower boat cruises, nature experiences, educational enlightenment, and parent-child interaction. On June 22, the 100-day oath-taking ceremony for the opening of Wuhan Ganlusshan Cultural and Creative City was held, marking that the preparations for the project's opening on September 30 have fully entered the sprint stage.
Data shows that the Ganlusshan Cultural and Creative City project has a planned total investment of about 70 billion yuan, covers an area of about 11,000 mu (approximately 733 hectares), has a construction scale of about 5.6 million square meters, and has 6 aircraft carrier-level IPs and million-level flagship supporting facilities. Among them, the commercial area reaches 145,000 square meters, including a snow field, an ice and snow commercial mall, a carnival commercial street, a Ganlu Dream Huari commercial street, and multiple business formats such as homestays and hotels. Currently, the project's investment promotion work is progressing smoothly, and the investment promotion index of Ganlu Dream Huari Commercial Street has reached 75%, with 58 brands signed, including many first-store brands in Wuhan and Huangpi.
On June 27, the "Wanli" project launched a brand launch conference and investment promotion launch conference, and popular IPs such as the China National Geographic Exploration Center and the Little Prince theme park have been confirmed to sign. Currently, the investment promotion and operation work of the "Wanli" project has officially entered the operational preparation stage, and is expected to open in the second half of 2025.

It is understood that the "Wanli" project is a key project in Beijing, jointly developed and constructed by three state-owned enterprises in Beijing: Jingtou Company, Shoulu Group, and Beijing Urban Construction Group. With an investment exceeding 10 billion yuan and a total development scale of nearly 500,000 square meters, it includes three sections: Wangfujing Outlets, Tingyun Town, and Nolan Hotel. It covers various business formats, including shopping, hotels, homestays, catering, performances, and entertainment, and also includes Beijing's largest outlet shopping mall.
On June 25th, the opening ceremony of Rushihai and the opening of the Beidaihe Indigo Hotel, themed "Riding the Wind and Chasing Dreams, Setting Sail for a New Voyage," was successfully held.
The Rushihai Resort project has a total planned area of 5,400 mu (approximately 360 hectares) and a construction area of 1,400 mu (approximately 93 hectares). With an investment of nearly 10 billion yuan, it boasts rare natural resources such as the sea, beach, forest, lake, and hot springs. It is understood that the Huangshi OCT Dinosaur Wonder Tourism Resort covers an area of 1,583 mu (approximately 105.5 hectares). It is a large-scale cultural tourism complex integrating entertainment, food, shopping, leisure, research and study, performances, ecology, health, hotels, variety shows, activities, and celebrations. It consists of five themed areas: Dinosaur Water World, Dinosaur Dream Factory, Dinosaur Secret Realm, Dinosaur Town, and Dinosaur Trendy Play Pavilion.
Among them, the Dinosaur Dream Factory theme area is a large-scale single-ticket theme park with dinosaurs as the theme and combining local Huangshi cultural IPs as content. On June 25th, eight major projects with a total investment of 4.4 billion yuan commenced in Dongjin New District, Xiangyang, Hubei.
Among them, the Weili Flying Town agricultural, cultural, and tourism integration project has a total investment of 520 million yuan, a planned total land area of 200 mu (approximately 13.3 hectares), and a total construction area of 2,000 square meters. The main construction content includes a 5-kilometer tourist sightseeing road, a 10-kilometer ATV track, paragliding, water entertainment projects, ATV off-roading, and experiential expansion sports, as well as agricultural experience venues and leisure and entertainment facilities.
The Hubei Communications Investment Xiangyang Ocean Exploration Museum project has a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan and will be built in three phases. Phase 1 will construct 7,200 square meters, mainly showcasing an ocean-themed venue featuring marine and freshwater organisms.

Fujian to Build a Large-Scale Performing Arts Venue
According to an article released on June 19th on the official website of Quanzhou Licheng District, the plot of land for the Quanzhou Performing Arts Theater Complex and Commercial Supporting Street District project (Licheng 2024-1 plot) was successfully auctioned for 369 million yuan and won by Quanzhou Licheng Citong Development and Construction Co., Ltd.
The construction content includes a performing arts theater and commercial facilities, and a hotel (where the performing arts theater has a planned construction area of no less than 25,300 square meters, and the hotel has a planned construction area of no less than 48,000 square meters). The entertainment and hotel buildings cannot be sold separately; the remaining retail commercial buildings can be sold separately.
It is understood that the Quanzhou Performing Arts Center complex project is jointly developed by the Licheng District Government and IDG Capital, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan. The project is located in the western area of Zhanqian Avenue in the Jiangnan New District, and plans to build a large-scale performing arts venue. The famous director Zhang Yimou will serve as the chief director of the performing arts center, creating a large-scale performance themed on "Maritime Silk Road culture", showcasing and interpreting "cross-strait culture", "Mazu culture", and "Minnan culture" with modern concepts. IDG Capital is a private equity investment institution whose business has spread across Europe, America, and the Asia-Pacific region, with total assets under management exceeding 150 billion yuan. To date, IDG Capital's representative investments in the cultural tourism sector include Guanyinxiang, Wuzhen, and Gubei Water Town.

Songcheng·Three Gorges Millennium Show delivered on July 18
On June 22, the Jiankai General Contracting Company, a subsidiary of Wuhan Construction Group under Wuhan Urban Construction Group, ensured that the Songcheng·Three Gorges Millennium Show project would be successfully delivered on July 18. Currently, the project has completed the entrance hall, theater hall exterior image and decoration projects. The theme venue and scenic performance area are also nearing completion, making a final sprint to meet the delivery deadline.
It is understood that the project is located in Yidu Sturgeon Bay, covering an area of 74,000 square meters, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, making it one of Yichang's "four major" projects. Its construction includes the Three Gorges Millennium Show theme venue, a playground, and other comprehensive supporting facilities. After completion, the project will become a new tourism window integrating "theme park + cultural performance", adding a new cultural highlight to Hubei Province.

On June 25, Zhanjiang released a message on its WeChat official account. Currently, various sections of "Ershi San Du" are under intensive construction and are expected to be completed in 2025.
The project is located in Naliu Village, Huguang Town, with a total land area of 3,000 mu (approximately 200 hectares), including a building area of 55,000 square meters. Leveraging the village's rich history and culture, combined with its superior natural resources, the project focuses on modern agriculture, research and study expansion, and leisure tourism. It aims to revitalize the village's cultural heritage, activate idle land and agricultural production resources, promote the village's industrial layout and economic development, achieve prosperity for the people and strengthen the village, and strive to become a provincial-level rural revitalization demonstration project with integrated primary, secondary, and tertiary industries.

Tianjin Beichen Jim International Adventure World to Begin Trial Operation on July 1
On June 25, the WeChat official account "Wei Beichen" released a message. As a key cultural and tourism project in the district, located in Shuangkou Town, Beichen District, the Jim International Adventure World has basically completed its overall construction, and various amusement facilities are taking shape. It will open to visitors on July 1.
It is understood that Beichen Jim International Adventure World has delved into themed entertainment projects, continuously enriching the park's functions, and has divided it into nine functional areas: Water World, Car World, Super Sliding Park, Parent-Child Exploration Non-powered Park, etc., involving more than 100 leisure and entertainment projects to meet the needs of people of different ages.
Suzhou Amusement Park Commercial Project
"Wide Wild Waiye" Officially Unveiled
On June 27, the Suzhou Amusement Park commercial project brand launch event was successfully held, and "Wide Wild Waiye" was officially unveiled.
"Wide Wild Waiye" is located in the Dayangshan area of Suzhou High-tech District, with a commercial area of approximately 112,000 square meters, adjacent to Suzhou Amusement Park's Forest World and Forest Water World. The project cleverly integrates ecological nature with commercial buildings, using the over 20,000-square-meter outdoor lawn and leisure space on the south side as a vibrant carrier, integrating wild elements into urban life.
The project will create four spaces: "Wild Experiment Field," "Super Experience Field," "Cute Pet Fun Field," and "Fireworks Food Field," with more than 100 brand combinations. Focusing on trendy retail, quality dining, and entertainment experiences, it aims to meet the social and entertainment consumption needs of young people and emerging young families in the area, attracting trendy enthusiasts from the Yangtze River Delta region.
Main Structure of Shanghai International Automobile City Miniature Landscape Theme Park Completed
On June 26, the main structure of the Shanghai International Automobile City Miniature Landscape Theme Park was completed. Currently, the sand table area is entering the model installation phase, and the project will debut this summer.
According to the introduction, the Da Meng 1.0 venue mainly features European architecture. This sand table will incorporate Chinese architectural elements. The design team has recreated five new themed scenes, and the number of model scenes and trains will be more impressive and spectacular.
“Da Meng Weicheng” 2.0, while retaining its original business segments, will also incorporate the unique geographical location of Shanghai International Automobile City, its status as an automotive industry center, and other characteristics. It will integrate elements of patriotic education and science education for teenagers, comprehensively presenting miniature landscape themed scenes with different cultural attributes from China and abroad, and continuously improving its new retail, member experience, enterprise customization, and industry-academia-research business ecosystem.

Hangzhou Fangxingdu Micro-Vacation Cultural Tourism Complex Project Officially Commences Construction
On June 21, the Hangzhou Fangxingdu Micro-Vacation Cultural Tourism Complex project officially commenced construction.
The Hangzhou Fangxingdu Micro-Vacation Cultural Tourism Complex is a cultural tourism complex integrating sightseeing, leisure vacations, parent-child entertainment, immersive experiences, and conferences and exhibitions. Leveraging Linping's profound cultural heritage and the base's unique mountain and lake resources, the project fully explores Song Dynasty culture through story interpretation and aesthetic scene construction. Using a design approach that combines ancient and modern elements, with an international perspective and high standards, it is positioned as a "Chinese Song Dynasty Culture Immersive Tourism Landmark," a "Yangtze River Delta Micro-Short Drama Integrated Base," and a "Hangzhou Phenomenal Micro-Vacation Tourism Destination." Ultimately, the Fangxingdu project will be developed into an outstanding Song Dynasty culture experience center in the Yangtze River Delta, a new night tour landmark in Hangzhou, forming the core attraction of Hangzhou's Song Dynasty aesthetic cultural highland, and becoming a new cultural tourism calling card for Hangzhou.
Beijing Yanqing "Guihe Yehua" Night Tour Experience Activity
Trial Operation Commences
On the evening of June 21, on the surface of Donghu Park lake in Yanqing District, about 18 kilometers from the Badaling Great Wall scenic area, the "Guihe Yehua" night tour experience activity commenced its trial operation.
It is understood that the "Guihe Yehua" project is located east of the Xiadu Bridge, a landmark building in Yanqing District, Beijing. Utilizing the lake of Donghu Park and its surrounding beautiful natural scenery, based on the well-known Gui Shui Nu legend in Yanqing, it vividly depicts Gui Chuan water play, the first encounter with Gui Shui Nu, Gui Shui sacrifice, Magpie Bridge meeting, pagoda light show, another encounter with Gui Shui Nu, time travel, and Guihe Yehua. It incorporates lighting, scene setting, and holographic projection and other multimedia special effects, creating a mood of "boats in the scenery, boats as scenery in the tour," creating multi-point and diversified nighttime consumption scenarios.

Shanghai's first immersive penguin-themed resort hotel, "Jinqiao • Haichang Penguin Resort Hotel," is set to open on July 1, creating a parent-child leisure and science education vacation destination.
Developed jointly by Haichang Ocean Park and Shanghai Jinqiao Lingang Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd., the hotel offers guests a unique experience of "staying at a penguin hotel and watching real penguins." Trial Operation of Taihu Dragon Dream Fireworks Tower Hotel
The Taihu Dragon Dream Fireworks Tower Hotel will begin its trial operation on June 28.
Located in the bustling heart of Taihu Ancient Town, the Dragon Dream Fireworks Tower Hotel overlooks the Liyumen Scenic Street to the east and the Tuying Wetland Park to the north. It is named "Fireworks Tower" because of the large-scale fireworks displays that light up the sky above the hotel, creating a stunning visual spectacle with the building itself.
The main building is a 10-story imitation ancient building with a cross-gable roof at the top. The building features layered eaves, creating a harmonious and unified appearance. The floor plan is an octagon within a square, symbolizing "all directions." The nine eaves have a total of 100 upward-curving corners, resembling the wings of a crane about to take flight. The entire building is majestic yet delicate, full of varied charm and beauty.
Zhejiang Eastern Freshwater Fish Museum Expected to Open in August
Recently, according to relevant departments, the Zhejiang Eastern Freshwater Fish Museum, located in the Zhejiang Eastern Canal Cultural Park, is expected to officially open to the public in August. Currently, the construction of the venue's hardware facilities is nearing completion, and the aquarium landscaping, water storage and maintenance, and equipment debugging are underway.
It is understood that the Zhejiang Eastern Freshwater Fish Museum is one of the affiliated museums within the Zhejiang Eastern Canal Cultural Park (Zhejiang Eastern Canal Museum). With a total construction area of 10,000 square meters and an exhibition and experience area of 5,828 square meters, it is currently Shaoxing's first large-scale aquarium focusing on freshwater fish.
