On August 2, the signing ceremony for the Shandong Rizhao Hailongwan Cultural Tourism Project and the scenic area opening ceremony were held.

It is reported that Hailongwan is located southeast of Rizhao Lighthouse Square and is China's first "port-to-sea return" port coastline restoration and renovation project. The project invested 610 million yuan, restored 1882 meters of coastline, added 460,000 square meters of beach area, transforming the former "black coal yard" into the current "golden beach." At the same time, efforts are being made to integrate the "Antai Cultural Tourism & Blue Carbon C Plan" into the port culture, creating a coastal tourism hub that combines trendy photo spots, water sports, beach music, thematic research, and other functions

On August 5, Shanghai Fuji Construction Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingchengshan Town held the signing ceremony for the Phase II project of Blossom Hill Hotels & Resorts at the Blossom Hill Hotels & Resorts · Shanchenging Hotel in Qingchengshan, Chengdu

It is reported that the Phase II project of Blossom Hill Hotels & Resorts is positioned as a high-end resort in Qingchengshan, with a total investment of approximately 100 million yuan, covering a land area of 5.25 mu, and featuring 86 characteristic rooms. At the signing meeting, both parties will engage in exchanges and in-depth cooperation regarding cultural tourism resource integration, project construction implementation, and market promotion. They will deeply explore the ecological and cultural resources of Qingchengshan Town, such as mountains, water, Taoism, Zen, and pandas, continuously strengthen the foundation of world heritage, and create a unique high-end hotel in Qingcheng

Jiangdu Old Rice Mill Renovation Project Officially Signed

On the morning of August 7, the Jiangdu Old Rice Mill Renovation Project was successfully signed

It is reported that the Jiangdu Old Rice Mill renovation project will be renovated and updated based on the original buildings, focusing on core contents such as "digital culture, art exhibition halls, sports, cultural experiences, creative offices, theater performances, boutique guesthouses, and cultural tourism." It will integrate Jiangdu cultural IPs like "Xiannv Temple" and "Master Hsing Yun," develop digitally empowered cultural tourism scene construction, actively foster new business forms like digital art and immersive experiences, and explore a cultural tourism industry model that empowers urban renewal. Kars (International) Tourist Resort

Signed and Settled in Guanling, Guizhou

On August 2, the investment cooperation signing ceremony for the Kars (International) Tourist Resort project was held in Guanling, Guizhou

It is reported that Guanling Autonomous County and Kars (Zhejiang) International Tourism Co., Ltd. will jointly establish a project company (SPV) to invest in and develop the Kars (International) Tourist Resort in Yongning Town (Ice and Snow Town area) of Guanling Autonomous County. The first phase of the project will cover construction contents such as a strawberry planting base, cold chain logistics center, food processing factory, theme park, large shopping mall, Eurasian style street, performance hall, various themed pavilions, and supporting hotels. Focusing on the full chain of services including "eating, living, transportation, touring, entertainment, shopping, and wellness," it aims to create a deeply immersive mountain cultural tourism resort integrating multiple functions such as "sightseeing, leisure, vacation, wellness, experience, entertainment, and shopping," striving to build Guanling into a world-class cultural tourism destination

"Ludi River Bamboo Rafting Tour" Agri-tourism Integration Project Signed

On August 6, Guiyang Cultural Tourism Group Tianhetan Co., Ltd. and Guizhou Xiangchou Ludi Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. officially signed the "Cooperation Contract for the Implementation of the 'Ludi River Bamboo Rafting Tour' Agri-tourism Integration Project between Guiyang Cultural Tourism Group Co., Ltd. and Shibantan Ludi Village"

Yaoxue Ice and Snow World

Shanghai Yaoxue Ice and Snow World will officially open on September 6. Starting August 8, tickets can be purchased via the official WeChat mini-program or ticketing platforms

Yaoxue Ice and Snow World is located in Shanghai Lingang New City, with a total construction area of approximately 350,000 square meters. It is an urban ice and snow resort integrating dining, accommodation, touring, shopping, and entertainment, featuring the world's largest indoor real snow ski resort. Among them, the over 90,000 square meter Yaoxue Snow World includes a super-large indoor real snow ski resort and nearly 20 snow entertainment projects; the approximately 20,000 square meter Yaoxue Water World covers nearly 20 water play projects, with only the indoor level open this year, and the outdoor level to open next summer

Family Fun Park planned to launch first

According to Wangcheng's press release, on the afternoon of August 7, Qin Guoliang, Secretary of the Wangcheng District Committee, met with Liang Cang, Deputy General Manager of Huacheng Happy Valley Group, to discuss and exchange ideas on the Changsha Cultural Tourism Comprehensive Project of Happy Valley Group.

The Changsha Cultural Tourism Comprehensive Project of Happy Valley Group is located south of Tongguan Kiln National Style Park and north of Huangqiao Avenue. The construction mainly includes four sections: a parent-child park, a land park, a water park, and an exploration park. The first phase, the parent-child park project, is planned to be carried out first. The construction of the wall, land clearing, and relocation of 10-kilovolt power lines have been completed, and the subsequent work is being carried out in an orderly manner.

On August 6, Quanzhou City Construction Group won the bid for the F13 plot (Feng 2022-11-1 plot and Feng 2022-11-2 plot) in Quanzhou East Sea Central Business District with a bid of 2.666 billion yuan. The two plots have a total land area of about 176 mu and cover multiple business formats, including residential, commercial, and business finance.

Quanzhou City Construction Group stated that the Feng 2022-11-2 plot plans to build a large-scale commercial complex, a five-star hotel, and a Grade A office building, among which the commercial complex will be about 100,000 square meters. It will be held by the group and entrusted to China Resources for development and operation, introducing the "Vanke" commercial brand.

Chongqing Amusement Park Urban Renewal Project

Expected to officially open to the public at the end of 2026

News on August 5: The Chongqing Amusement Park Urban Renewal Project is progressing efficiently and is expected to be partially open to the public by the end of 2025 and fully open by the end of 2026.

The Chongqing Amusement Park Urban Renewal Project has a planned total investment of 2.563 billion yuan and will be constructed in two phases. The project will fully excavate the characteristic cultural elements such as Chongqing's 8D magical landforms and fully reflect the cultural characteristics of Chongqing's city of mountains and rivers. It will be built into a high-quality experience business cluster serving citizens and tourists, integrating high-altitude amusement, trendy performances, sports and entertainment, characteristic food, and exquisite accommodation into a comprehensive cultural, commercial, and tourism complex.

Zhejiang Jinhua Wuyi Senquan Yang Wenlv Kangyang

Integrated Complex (Phase 1 Construction) Project Commences

On the morning of August 3, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Wuyi Senquan Yang Wenlv Kangyang Integrated Complex (Phase 1 Construction) Project was held in Wuyi County's Hot Spring Town.

It is understood that the project has a total investment of about 1.28 billion yuan and covers an area of about 400 mu. Adhering to the concept of "forest hot springs," starting from the Wuyi Hot Spring Tourism Resort, relying on the local natural mountain and water resources, with hot springs as the core and mountains and rivers as the foundation, it integrates local culture, intangible cultural heritage, and national tide culture elements, deeply develops diversified product lines of "cultural tourism" integration, introduces the Huanglong Hotel, a five-star hotel brand under Hangzhou Tourism Group, aiming to create a large-scale hot spring cultural tourism and health care complex integrating hot spring health care, leisure vacation, and parent-child entertainment.

Hubei Wenlv Wuhan Ice and Snow Center Officially Opens

On August 8, Wuhan's largest indoor ski resort—Hubei Wenlv Wuhan Ice and Snow Center—opened in Hanyang.

The Wuhan Ice and Snow Center is located in the core of the Sixin Ecological New City in Hanyang District, Wuhan. The project covers an area of 31,000 square meters and is divided into a skiing area and a snow entertainment area. Three different tracks—beginner, intermediate, and practice—cater to the needs of different skiing enthusiasts. The snow entertainment area is the first snow mountain-themed extreme sports area in Central China, including snow mountain climbing and snow mountain shuttle slides, among other immersive and exciting snow and ice play projects. The project also includes Chinese and Western restaurants, coffee and milk tea shops, costume photography, fitness training, and an extreme sports park, providing one-stop tourism and leisure services for tourists.

Zhejiang Shaoxing Pingshui Copper Mine Themed Cultural Tourism Complex

Project Construction Enters Substantive Main Body Phase

On August 8, the groundbreaking ceremony for the first batch of pile foundation projects of the Shaoxing Pingshui Copper Mine (Ruoye Tonggu Town) themed cultural tourism complex project was held at the project site, marking the entry of the project construction into the substantive main body phase.

The Shaoxing Pingshui Copper Mine (Ruoye Tonggu Town) themed cultural tourism complex project is located in the former Shaoxing Pingtong (Group) Co., Ltd. factory area in Pingshui Town and is invested and constructed by Shanghai Huachang Group (Enterprise) Co., Ltd. with an investment of about 1 billion yuan. The project plans to have a ground building area of about 110,000 square meters and an underground building area of about 45,000 square meters, focusing on ecological restoration, cultural tourism, and medical health care.

Liaoyuan That Rabbit Park Opens

On August 3, Liaoyuan That Rabbit Theme Park grandly opened.

It is understood that Liaoyuan That Rabbit Park is a parent-child themed real-scene park with a total area of 9.6 hectares and a total investment of 245 million yuan. Integrating mining cultural elements, it covers six major functions: theme amusement, water play, dining, performing arts, cute pets, and camping, including more than 30 amusement projects such as the Mine Wild Expansion Tower, the Wave Pool, the Super Campsite, and the Rope Net Park. The second phase of the project will continue to build a themed resort hotel and will be equipped with research and study classrooms and indoor amusement facilities, aiming to create a comprehensive parent-child theme park integrating entertainment, education, leisure, and vacation, allowing tourists to enjoy a one-stop immersive experience and striving to create a new cultural tourism landmark for Liaoyuan.

Construction of Phase Two of Beijing Universal Theme Park

To start this year

According to the Beijing City Sub-center Cultural Tourism Industry Exchange Conference held on August 6, the city sub-center's tourism consumption landmarks are accelerating their formation, and the Beijing Universal Theme Park has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, receiving nearly 10 million tourists last year and driving about 16 million passenger flow to the Universal shopping district. The construction of the second phase will start this year.

It is introduced that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the Beijing City Sub-center cultural tourism industry will create a cultural and tourism development spatial pattern of "one area, one river, three towns, and multiple points." "One area" refers to the Beijing City Sub-center Cultural Tourism Area, which is an important carrier of the city sub-center's leading cultural tourism functions. Relying on the Beijing Universal Theme Park, it will create a modern and fashionable tourist destination facing the world. Key projects such as the International IP complex Apex Park, Haichang Ocean Park, City Sports Center, and Poly Art International Convention and Exhibition Center have settled in the cultural tourism area.

Hefei "North Fantasy City" Art Center Project Commences

On the morning of August 8, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hefei "North Fantasy City" Art Center project was held in the north city.

It is understood that the Hefei "North Fantasy City" Art Center project is located in the center of the north city, bordered by Shuangdun Road to the north, Meichong Lake Road to the south, Mengcheng North Road to the west, and Fuyang North Road to the east, with a total area of approximately 1380 mu. The project will transform the old factory buildings of the former Ha螺 Cement Plant into the "North Fantasy City" Art Center, planned as three major areas and five major sections.

Yan Ziling Fishing Platform, Tonglu, Zhejiang

Comprehensive Protection and Improvement Project Commences

On the morning of August 5th, the commencement ceremony for the Yan Ziling Fishing Platform Comprehensive Protection and Improvement Project was officially held.

It is understood that the Yan Ziling Fishing Platform Comprehensive Protection and Improvement Project is located in the Yan Ziling Fishing Platform Scenic Area and Diaotai Road block in Tonglu County, Fuchunjiang Town. The project focuses on improvements to three parts: the scenic highway, the visitor center, and the core area. The total land area of the project is approximately 5.81 hectares. The main contents of this improvement and transformation are: firstly, the restoration of Diaotai Academy; secondly, the reorganization and improvement of the cultural stele garden; thirdly, the optimization and improvement of the east-west Diaotai roads; and fourthly, the reconstruction of the visitor center.

Health and Leisure Town Officially Launched in Cangzhou, Hebei

On August 3rd, the Hongxinli Courtyard Culture Health and Leisure Town, located in Cangzhou, Hebei, was officially launched.

It is understood that the Hongxinli Culture Health and Leisure Town is a community cultural and leisure town that combines healthy living, light urban riverside vacations, cultural creativity, internet celebrity social check-in spots, and the most popular ideal living spaces. It is understood that the Chuanhegai Starry Sky City Parent-Child Paradise takes "stars" as its theme and features multiple themed amusement projects, including Starry Voyage, Interstellar Travel, Yunhe Water Play, Space Walk, Star Castle, and Sand Sea Secret. Leveraging the natural scenery of the Chuanhegai alpine grassland, the park creates an immersive themed amusement scene integrating parent-child entertainment, research, ecological leisure, and tourism micro-vacations, shaping a new way of amusement life that combines education and entertainment.

Trial Opening of "Origin of Meizhou" at Mazu Film and Television City

On August 8th, "Origin of Meizhou," the nation's first Mazu culture situational interactive live-action performance, will begin trial operations at the Mazu Film and Television City on Meizhou Island in Putian, Fujian.

According to the introduction, the large-scale cultural tourism performance project " Origin of Meizhou" integrates various art forms such as dance, drama, martial arts, equestrianism, and stunts. Through five main scene performances and eight point performances, using the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties as time nodes and real historical events as the blueprint, it incorporates the unique intangible cultural heritage and folk customs of Meizhou Island and the spirit of Mazu, creating different story chapters, allowing Mazu culture to enter the public eye in a more vivid and diverse way.

Launch of the "Le Di 1821" Project in Jiujiang, Foshan, Guangdong

On August 7th, the launch ceremony for the Shui Shang Nanhai Nan Guo Jiu Zhen Le Di 1821 project was held in Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan.

The Le Di 1821 project is located on the banks of the Xi Jiang River, with a planned total land area of approximately 35,000 square meters and a total construction area of approximately 9,000 square meters. The project will use wine as its core, relying on the natural ecology of the Xi Jiang River, integrating Jiujiang double-steamed rice fragrance culture with the booming cultural, commercial, and tourism industries. Through "micro-renovation" of the existing Jiujiang winery factory buildings, it will introduce new elements such as Cantonese culture, trendy dining, time-honored brand experiences + retail, and experiential entertainment, aiming to create a characteristic cultural tourism street that integrates rice-fragrant liquor tasting, Xi Jiang natural ecological experiences, water town customs, and Lingnan style.

Zhengzhou City Water Night Tour Project

Launch of "Ruyi Long Lake"

On the evening of August 2nd, the launch ceremony for the Ruyi Long Lake City Water Night Tour, themed "Ruyi Upward, Long Lake Forward," was held on the banks of Ruyi Lake in the Zhengdong New District CBD.

According to the introduction, the Ruyi Lake and Long Lake boat tour project takes urban scenery, water-shore linkage, urban night views, and light shows as its core elements, using boats as a medium to create Zhengzhou's largest and most comprehensive water tour and sightseeing project.

The entire project lasts 70 minutes, using the historical and cultural context of Zhengzhou as its axis, from ancient times to the present, from south to north, planning five scenes: "The Center of Heaven and Earth," "The Yellow Emperor's Homeland," "Kung Fu Zhengzhou," "The Great River Surges," and "Global Brilliance." Along the way, light shows, water curtain projections, accompanying performances, and fireworks markets are set up, showcasing content based on a rich history and emphasizing fashionable expression, including drums and music, Shaolin Kung Fu, and surname culture. Through boat experiences + light and shadow performances + bridge lighting + improvement of the two-bank cultural, commercial, and tourism spaces, it creates a new urban consumption scene of "water + shore" interaction, presenting a three-dimensional, panoramic, and immersive view of a young, cultural, international, technological, and service-oriented Zhengzhou.
