Shaanxi Province Tourism Industry Investment and Financing Promotion Conference Signing
46 projects with a total investment of 13.43 billion
On the afternoon of August 9, the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Industry Investment and Financing Promotion Conference, held concurrently with the 2024 Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Expo, was successfully held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center. A total of 46 key tourism projects were signed at the conference, with a total investment of 13.43 billion yuan.
The 46 key tourism projects successfully signed on-site include Huqing Palace, Hukou Waterfall, cultural export platform operation, tourism industry data asset investment and financing platform, Zhonglou Youth Street, Kunming Pool Hongjian Water Sports Leisure Center, Hantang District Tiantaishan Scenic Area upgrading and integrated operation service project, Nan Zheng District Yangchun Town Chencun agricultural tourism integrated development and ecological tourism resort construction project, Chenggu County Zhang Qian's westward journey immersive experience project, Luoyang County Baduhe tourism infrastructure construction and "Impression Xingzhou" night tour project, Foping County Qinling Four Treasures cultural and creative product research and development, research and study travel, digital tourism projects, etc., mainly covering cultural street renovation, smart scenic area construction, and immersive cultural experience centers. The signing of these projects will further enrich the supply of high-quality tourism products and promote the high-quality development of Shaanxi's tourism industry.

Signing of a strategic cooperation investment framework agreement for the Lingshan Scenic Area in Luoshan County, Xinyang City
On the afternoon of August 9, a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation investment framework agreement for the comprehensive development, construction, and operation of the Lingshan Scenic Area between Xinyang Xintou Industrial Co., Ltd. and the People's Government of Luoshan County was held in Luoshan County.
It is understood that the total amount of this signing is 1 billion yuan. To adapt to the needs of the tourism industry in the new era, Xinyang Xintou Industrial Co., Ltd. invited the first-class China Youth Travel Service (Beijing) Tourism Planning and Design Institute to undertake the planning of the Lingshan Scenic Area, and invited the well-known Qingming Shanghe Garden Tourism Research Institute team in the province to participate in the planning and operation of the scenic area.

2024 Jinyang Yi Torch Festival Industry Investment Promotion Conference Held
On August 15, at the 2024 Jinyang Yi Torch Festival Agricultural Tourism and Industrial Investment Promotion Conference held in Chengdu, 10 projects were signed. These included cooperation between government and enterprises, as well as cooperation between local enterprises in Jinyang County and enterprises from other places, covering areas such as the development of characteristic agricultural and sideline products, photovoltaics, and wind power encryption.
It is understood that this park is a provincial "four-star" modern agricultural industrial park, located in Wuke Village, Tiandiba Town, Jinyang County. It has a planned area of 84,100 square meters, a currently constructed area of 19,400 square meters, and a total construction area of 31,700 square meters. The park's planned total investment is 580 million yuan, and it can achieve an annual transaction volume of over 30,000 tons of prickly ash. This project will attract enterprises in the direction of deep processing of prickly ash.
At the promotion conference, Jinyang County also promoted projects such as the Jinsha River tourism integration project and the urban commercial complex project based on the local development situation and opportunities, covering five major sectors: characteristic agriculture, modern industry, clean energy, urban construction, and the tourism industry.
Signing of the Yunnan Province Anning City Hot Spring Valley Area Development and Construction Project
On August 12, Kanglv Group and the Anning Municipal Government held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Both parties jointly plan a new chapter of cooperation around the development and construction of the Hot Spring Valley area.
This cooperation will take the "Hot Spring Valley International Ecological Tourism and Health Resort Town" project as a starting point, and through the rapid advancement of large projects, jointly seek great development, work together, build consensus, and with a pragmatic attitude and measures, strive to create a model of government-enterprise cooperation. It is hoped that this signing will serve as an opportunity to promote the integrated development of the hot spring tourism and health industry.

Guizhou holds a trade, tourism, and culture promotion conference in Hong Kong
On August 13, the "Guizhou-Hong Kong Trade, Tourism, and Culture Promotion Conference" was held in Hong Kong. At the conference, 15 projects were signed between Guizhou and Hong Kong, with a total contract value of US$660 million.
It is reported that these 15 signed projects cover the fields of trade, tourism, and new energy, including 7 investment projects totaling US$639 million, 2 trade projects totaling US$21 million, 5 memoranda of cooperation, and 1 entrusted investment promotion agreement. At this promotion conference, Guizhou released a total of 69 distinctive investment attraction projects, with a total investment scale of 81.13 billion yuan.
"Traditional Chinese Medicine Street" (East Street) Project Signing
On the morning of August 14, Zhuhai Xiangzhou District People's Government, Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine Zhuhai Hospital, and Zhuhai Zhengfang Group Co., Ltd. signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement for the joint construction of the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Street" (East Street).
It is reported that the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Street" will adopt a model of "government planning, guidance by Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, enterprise operation, and market-oriented operation." The project planning mainly includes three parts: East Street (Baishahe Street area), West Street (Yueming New Garden Scenic Area), and High-tech E-commerce City (Port Bay No. 5), jointly building a full-chain system of "industry + consumption + tourism" for traditional Chinese medicine, providing "high-quality, low-price, one-stop, and large-scale" consumption new scenarios and services for consumers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Signing of the Guxing Town "Health + B&B + Sharing" Project
The project signed by both parties is planned to be implemented in Huiji District using a "health preservation + homestay + sharing" operation model, enabling multiple parties, including farmers, village collectives, and enterprises, to achieve mutual benefits and meet the diverse needs of various customer groups from Zhengzhou and surrounding areas of Henan Province, including weekend trips, family trips, corporate team building, and research and study tours. The implementation of the health preservation homestay project will not only enhance the "blood-making" function of the village but also solve the employment problem of villagers and increase the income of villagers and village collectives.

On August 16, Huachang Fantasi Group's latest masterpiece—Ningbo Bear Infestation Happy Bay—opened.

Xiaomeisha Ocean World to Open This Year
On August 13, reporters learned that Xiaomeisha Ocean World will open its doors to welcome guests this year.
It is reported that Xiaomeisha Ocean World has passed the completion acceptance and fire acceptance inspections and is currently undergoing final debugging and other pre-opening preparations. The upgraded Xiaomeisha Ocean World includes five exhibition areas and four show venues, combined with the world's largest blue-green cave landscape, hundreds of precious marine species interact deeply with people in a technologically advanced scene of sound, light, and electricity. In the future, it will provide experiences in marine science education, parent-child research and study, and technological performances.
Xiaomeisha International Urban Seaside Resort relies on the unique ecological mountain and sea resources of eastern Shenzhen to build a world-class seaside sightseeing tourism and leisure resort destination. The project includes Xiaomeisha Ocean World, Xiaomeisha Seaside Park, Xiaomeisha Die Cui Lake Suburban Park, three major international hotel groups, seaside themed commerce, high-end seaside residences, industrial offices, and the Xiaomeisha multi-functional exhibition center, among other business clusters.

Suzhou Zhong Huan Project Tops Out
August 10 The Suzhou Zhong Huan project successfully topped out. The project is jointly developed by Yuanrong Development under Xinjianyuan Group and Hongkong Land. With a total construction area of 190,000 square meters (105,000 square meters above ground and 85,000 square meters underground), a total investment of approximately 3.2 billion yuan, it is positioned as a landmark high-end complex.
The Suzhou Zhong Huan project is located in the central area of the right bank of Jinji Lake and is an important commercial node for the Suzhou Industrial Park to accelerate the construction of the main center around Jinji Lake. The project covers a total area of 48,000 square meters and makes full use of the Jinji Lake landscape resources to build a modern commercial building combining a MALL and a three-dimensional street area, creating a high-end commercial consumption destination and leading the upgrading of the Jinji Lake East business district.

Guangdong Provincial National Defense Education Base Starts Construction in Meizhou Xingning
On the morning of August 8, The Guangdong Provincial National Defense Education Base officially started construction in Siwangzhang, Huangkuai Town, Xingning City, Meizhou City.
It is reported that the Guangdong Provincial National Defense Education Base is located in the Siwangzhang mining area of Huangkuai Town, Xingning City, with a planned total land area of approximately 2,000 mu and a total investment of approximately 2.38 billion yuan. The base mainly serves and supports military training for college students, expanding and extending military research and study, geological science education, and other diversified functions to create a comprehensive cultural and tourism project integrating national defense education, student military training, and ecological tourism.

Zhejiang Nanhu Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Opens Trial Operation
On August 8, Zhejiang Jiaxing Nanhu Kaiyuan Senbo Resort entered trial operation, with the water park, children's park, and restaurants opening first.
It is reported that Nanhu Kaiyuan Senbo Resort integrates accommodation, entertainment, dining, exhibitions, and education into a multi-business combination. Red Mangrove International Ski Resort Starts Construction
On August 11, the Red Mangrove International Ski Resort, the first phase of the China-Xinjiang Red Mangrove Future City International Resort invested and constructed by Jindien Group, officially started construction in the Shirengou Scenic Area of Urumqi City.
It is reported that the Xinjiang Red Mangrove Ski Resort A and B areas have a planned area of 3,100 mu and a total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan. It will integrate skiing, leisure, vacation, and entertainment to become a well-known tourism and leisure destination at home and abroad. The first phase of the ski resort is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2024.

Anhui Huainan "Chun Shen Li" Cultural Tourism Characteristic Street Project Expected to Begin Trial Operation in October
According to reports, the main project of the Anhui Huainan "Chun Shen Li" cultural tourism characteristic street project has been completed, and the current work is the laying of water supply, drainage pipes, and power cables under the street surface, with a planned trial operation in October this year.
It is understood that the Chun Shen Li Cultural Tourism Characteristic Street District project in Huainan is invested and constructed by Huainan High-tech Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., with a planned land area of 94.82 mu and an estimated investment of 526 million yuan. The project plans and designs 20 building units in Chu-Han style, Republic of China style, and modern style, divided into five functional areas: theme cultural area, leisure new world, city living room, vibrant show field, and Banyuan food street. Integrating the three themes of "culture, meeting, and vitality," it highlights Huainan's urban cultural heritage, leads new urban trends, and creates a city living room.

Liaoyuan Tianlusan Happy Hui officially opens
On August 12, Liaoyuan Tianlusan Happy Hui officially opened.
It is reported that the Tianlusan Happy Hui project was invested and constructed by Jilin Provincial Construction Group with an investment of 200 million yuan. With a total area of 210,000 square meters, it includes an amusement park, a happy gathering place, Tianlusan Hotel, a ski resort, and an ice and snow theme park. It is a city-based four-season cultural tourism complex integrating entertainment, gourmet shopping streets, hotels, agricultural picking, ice and snow sports, ice and snow sightseeing, and ice and snow entertainment. Among them, the amusement park section includes more than ten large-scale amusement facilities such as a rapid river, a large swing hammer, a rotating tower, a swing chair, and a roller coaster. It also has supporting facilities such as a visitor service center, a Hobbit-themed restaurant, and a cultural and creative gift shop.

The Yanhai Tianjie Wuxia City project in the Sino-Czech Industrial Park begins trial operation
Currently, Wuxia City has carefully designed differentiated themes, setting up several categories including martial arts, acrobatics, court music and dance, and folk acrobatics, including dozens of programs such as "Flying Phoenix," "3D Wire," "Knife Mountain and Fire Sea," and "Song Dynasty Invincible." In the thematic and performative format, tourists can better enter the designed theme and become a member of Wuxia City.
It is reported that the Yanhai Tianjie Wuxia City project in the Sino-Czech Industrial Park is part of the "Yanhai Rumei" immersive cultural tourism industrial park. The "Yanhai Rumei" immersive cultural tourism industrial park uses intangible cultural heritage displays, magic lantern art, stage play performances, and interactive experiences to create a core base for the integration and development of cultural tourism in the Bohai Rim, and to drive comprehensive economic development.

Construction starts on Guangdong Zhanjiang Bay Cultural Tourism Infrastructure and Supporting Projects
On August 9, the groundbreaking ceremony for the water cultural tourism supporting project of the Guangdong Zhanjiang Bay Cultural Tourism Infrastructure and Supporting Project was launched.
The Zhanjiang Bay Cultural Tourism Infrastructure and Supporting Project is located in the scenic Haidong New Area of Potou District. Through a series of projects such as the acceptance and placement of decommissioned land, sea, and air equipment and the construction of supporting park facilities, it creates an immersive military-themed cultural tourism project centered on decommissioned Kilo-class submarines and the decommissioned "Zhanjiang Ship," with the port city and one bay and two banks as the background, integrating the latest high-tech elements and green and low-carbon technologies. It combines coastal tourism, research and learning experiences, and military activity experiences.
The construction content of this water cultural tourism supporting project mainly includes tourist service centers, outdoor viewing platforms, and piers. After completion, it will become the performance venue for the "Military Port Night" immersive cultural tourism performance. At that time, an audience seating area accommodating thousands of people will be built on the sea, creating a flexible and changeable mechanical stage. Using shocking digital technology, light and shadow art, stage special effects, and immersive interaction, it will tell the glorious 30 years of the Zhanjiang Ship battling the wind and waves, showcasing the great voyage of the Chinese Navy striding into the deep blue. It is expected to officially debut in the second half of this year.

Will create the first large-scale Marvel-themed attraction
On August 11, according to Shanghai Disney Resort, Shanghai Disneyland will launch a brand-new Spider-Man themed attraction, which will be the first large-scale attraction in the theme park to tell a Marvel story. This new attraction will be themed around the beloved Marvel superhero Spider-Man, presenting a thrilling roller coaster experience. In an immersive experience, adventure lovers and Marvel fans will be able to fully experience the thrill of speed and appreciate the unique charm of the Marvel universe.
At the beginning of this year, Shanghai Disney Resort announced that the preparatory work for the construction of a major new attraction in Shanghai Disneyland had begun. This attraction will be adjacent to the park's newly opened "Zootopia" themed area. Today, at the 2024 Disney Global Fan Convention D23 Expo, Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, revealed the theme of this new attraction and showed two concept images of the attraction for the first time in a themed sharing session.
It is reported that as the latest expansion project of Shanghai Disney Resort, the preliminary construction preparation work for this new attraction started at the beginning of this year. In addition, the resort's current expansion projects also include a third Disney-themed hotel adjacent to the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel. Hong Kong Disneyland will create a new Marvel-themed extension area and its attractions, and unveiled its concept art for the first time.
It is understood that the newly announced project will be the third phase of the expansion of the Marvel-themed park in Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland, a brand-new extension area providing entertainment, shopping, and dining experiences. Currently, Hong Kong Disneyland has two Marvel-themed attractions, "Iron Man Experience" and "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!," which opened in 2017 and 2019 respectively, and have received more than millions of visitors since their opening. Hefei Economic Development Zone will build ice and snow world and ocean world themed project sports venues
An ocean world theme project is planned for plot JK202406 in the Economic Development Zone. The planned above-ground construction area should not be less than 40,000 square meters, including a dolphinarium, a polar pavilion, a fish tank, an ocean pavilion, and supporting facilities.
The Love Between Fairy and Devil VR Immersive Experience Center
Opened at Galaxy Macau
On August 9, the Love Between Fairy and Devil VR Immersive Experience Center opened at Galaxy Macau. This is iQiyi's third VR full-sensory theater product adapted from a drama IP, following The Wind Rises in Luoyang and The Mysterious Case of Tang Dynasty. It is also the largest "real-scene + full-sensory VR" immersive experience project in Macau.
According to the introduction, the Love Between Fairy and Devil VR full-sensory theater is based on iQiyi's hit drama Love Between Fairy and Devil in 2022, adopting a "national style second dimension" style. The project uses innovative technologies such as Unreal Engine 5, optical motion capture, and generative AI to digitally reproduce the "Oriental fantasy universe" depicted in the original drama.
Tourists will transform into "human world envoys," solving puzzles in the real-scene human world hall to open the path to the fairy world. Then, wearing VR equipment, they will enter the beautiful fairy world, experiencing glaciers, fairyland secrets, battles between gods and demons, and flying across the three realms. With the addition of wind, ice, heat, and weightlessness sensations, they will embark on an unparalleled and wonderful adventure.
