Lijiang "Xu Shanhai" Immersive Cultural Tourism Project
On September 5th, the Xu Shanhai immersive cultural tourism project was officially launched in Junliang Village, Lashi Town.
Located at the southern foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and adjacent to the Lashihai Scenic Area, the Xu Shanhai immersive cultural tourism project is the first immersive themed village in China. Based on the Ming Dynasty tea-horse trade culture, the project uses a large-scale, real-life immersive 100-person script-based tour as its presentation format. It features 3 storylines, 30+ hours of performances, 50+ performance spaces, 100+ performers, full-time, multi-ethnic film-level costumes, makeup, and props, as well as immersive technology shows, interactive light and shadow bars, art exhibitions, IP cultural and creative products, and experiential commerce, integrating "eating, lodging, travel, sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping." It truly achieves "cultural tourism + multiple industries," a deep integration of culture and tourism, where poetry and the distance are complementary and perfectly integrated.

Using the village as its presentation medium and inspired by the tea-horse trade culture of the Ming Dynasty, the project carefully crafted a layout of "one street and five courtyards." Each courtyard contains profound historical and cultural connotations, allowing tourists to feel as if they have traveled back to the prosperous era of the ancient tea-horse road.
The entire immersive script consists of three storylines: Naxi wedding customs, the legend of the horse gang, and the fantasy Classic of Mountains and Seas. Whether it's a small performance lasting less than 30 minutes or a two-day, one-night script tour that includes dining, accommodation, and transportation, it will leave tourists with unforgettable memories.

By deeply exploring Lijiang's historical and cultural resources, the project cleverly integrates the cultural traditions of the Naxi people, the historical stories of the ancient tea-horse road, and the mysterious elements of Dongba culture, allowing tourists to enjoy a cultural feast while experiencing the unique historical and cultural charm of the Lijiang region.
