According to incomplete statistics from the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (CAAPA), this week (December 7-December 13), there were 54 key cultural and tourism projects signed and updated domestically, with the highest single contract value reaching 1.5 billion yuan. The signing brief is as follows:

Chengdu signs 12 key cultural tourism projects
On December 12, the Chengdu Cultural Tourism Industrial Park Supply-Demand Matching Conference, themed "Liyuan Manyuan · Co-construction and Sharing" and "Ronghui Industry · Travel to Create the Future", was held at Tianfu International Animation City. This matching conference unveiled 100 cooperation opportunities with a capital scale of 111.9 billion yuan; 12 major projects were signed, with a total investment of 9.75 billion yuan; and banks granted credit lines to 5 cultural tourism enterprises, totaling over 2 billion yuan.
Among them, there are 100 investment opportunity lists, involving fields such as digital cultural tourism, IP development, tourism performing arts, low-altitude tourism, leisure experiences, and cultural tourism consumption; there are 20 financing opportunity lists, covering comprehensive tourism development, consumption scene construction, and project upgrading.
On site, 12 key cultural and tourism projects, including the CTG Cultural Tourism Business New Consumption Commercial Complex Project and the Quantum INS Paradise Project, were successfully signed, covering areas such as cultural tourism business new consumption, e-sports entertainment, and leisure and wellness.

Yongzhou, Hunan introduces 21 cultural tourism projects
On December 7, at the Yongzhou Cultural Tourism Industry Development Promotion Conference of the 3rd Yongzhou Tourism Development Conference, Yongzhou signed 21 cultural tourism projects with a total investment of 2.51 billion yuan.

Ninghuiyuan Cultural, Educational, and Tourism Complex Project Investment Agreement Signed
On December 10, the Xiaolan Town People's Government, Shenzhen Huachuang Cultural and Commercial Management Company, and Zhongshan Chongde Education Investment Co., Ltd. jointly signed the investment agreement for the Ninghuiyuan Cultural, Educational, and Tourism Complex Project, officially announcing the establishment of this large-scale project in Xiaolan, Zhongshan.
It is reported that the Ninghuiyuan Cultural, Educational, and Tourism Complex Project is located in Yongning Community, Xiaolan Town, with a planned land area of approximately 480 mu, a total construction area of about 180,000 square meters, and a total investment of about 1.5 billion yuan. The project mainly includes four major modules: high-quality private schools, museums, tourist resorts, and aerospace science popularization. It will integrate elements such as Suzhou gardens, Huizhou-style architecture, and Siheyuan-style architecture to create a new ecological cultural tourism display window that fosters diversified and harmonious industrial co-construction, shared entertainment, tourism symbiosis, and win-win economy.
Danyang City, Jiangsu Province, Dasheng Village "Maiji Agricultural Fun Park" Project Signed
On December 11, the "Maiji Agricultural Fun Park" Project in Dasheng Village, Danyang City, Jiangsu Province, was signed.
It is reported that this project will explore the local characteristics and farming culture of Dasheng Village, shape a unique agricultural tourism brand image, integrate traditional farming culture with modern tourism elements, and create characteristic farming-themed experience products, allowing tourists to experience the beauty of rural areas and the essence of farming. In addition, a series of iconic brand activities will be planned, such as parent-child farming experiences and harvest festivals, based on the natural and folk culture of Dasheng Village, to create a tourism calling card for Dasheng Village and add vitality to rural tourism.
"Boys and Girls Rush Forward" Theme Park Project Signed to Settle in Ma'anshan, Anhui
On December 11, the "Boys and Girls Rush Forward" Theme Park Project was signed. This project will create an all-age competitive simulation area for "Boys and Girls Rush Forward" and a year-round water leisure and entertainment venue within the Kuangshi Qiji Tourist Resort in Xiangshan area.
This project is planned to be located on the south side of Aoshan Lake and the east side of the Health Post, covering an area of approximately 100 mu. Through online and offline linkage, the project will be divided into a program recording competition area and a public entertainment area. It will introduce PVT photo-thermal integration technology to design a water-friendly leisure and entertainment venue, 150 meters long, 75 meters wide, with a total area of about 10,000 square meters, playable all four seasons, providing a platform for tourists, audiences, and other groups to show themselves, engage in sports competitions, and socialize leisurely.
On December 9, the Maike Beitou New Rural Cultural Tourism Accommodation Cluster Project was officially signed.
It is reported that the Maike Beitou New Rural Cultural Tourism Accommodation Cluster Project is divided into four functional areas: commercial development zone, cultural heritage zone, tourism leisure zone, and pastoral experience zone, and will be constructed in 3 phases. Adopting the "village collective + enterprise + villagers" development model, operated by a strong village company, it will rely on characteristic cultures and resources such as Longshan Ancient Tree Park, ancestral halls, and ancient buildings, integrating modern elements and creative ideas to create a new cultural tourism format integrating characteristic retail, themed catering, leisure entertainment, cultural experiences, and vacation living. This will further optimize the living environment, enhance the quality of tourism and accommodation, increase farmers' income, and empower comprehensive rural revitalization.

Total investment: 9 billion, Xi'an MixC Opened
On December 9, Xi'an MixC Grandly Opened. The project has a total commercial construction area of 155,000 square meters and will become a quality lifestyle destination in Xi'an integrating fashion, art, and culture.
It is worth mentioning that Xi'an Mixc, in collaboration with the international architectural master Thomas Heatherwick, interprets traditional oriental garden architecture using international architectural language. Inspired by the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree in the ancient Guanyin Chan Temple in Xi'an, it innovatively creates a super urban landmark—the Tree of Life—bringing a new urban calling card to Xi'an. Surrounding the Tree of Life, Xi'an Mixc has created characteristic spaces such as "Luxury Avenue," "Miracle Avenue," "Oriental Garden," "Elegant Corridor," "Sunny Pavilion," and "Bridge of Inspiration," jointly performing a perfect blend of oriental charm and international fashion, bringing vitality and surprises to the ancient city.

Phase one of Ruijin Tianmu Hot Spring Resort is nearing completion
On December 9th, Ruijin's official WeChat account announced that the corridors, bridges, and hot spring pools of the Tianmu Hot Spring Resort are taking shape, and phase one of the project is entering the final stages, expected to be completed by the end of the year.
It is understood that the Ruijin Tianmu Hot Spring Resort project is located in Huangbai Township, north of Ruijin No. 9 Middle School in the new urban area. It covers an area of over 1,000 mu and includes multiple functional areas such as a hot spring hotel area, a health and wellness homestay area, a leisure and entertainment area, and a high-end residential community. The project is being constructed in two phases, with the first phase currently underway. Upon completion, it will further enhance Ruijin's reception capacity, enrich tourism products, improve Ruijin's leisure and health tourism industry, and contribute to Ruijin's establishment as a national whole-region tourism demonstration area.

Expected to open in the first half of 2025
On December 11th, the Cixi Municipal People's Government Information Office announced that the Shengshili Cultural Tourism Outlet, a new commercial landmark in the Ningbo Qianwan New Area, has been substantially completed, with a leasing rate of 54%, and is expected to open in the first half of 2025.
Based on the creative concept of "Outlet + Cultural Tourism," the project, as a new urban cultural tourism landmark, reconstructs the commercial landscape, creates a diverse range of business formats, unlocks the new concept of Tang-style town, and strives to lead a new lifestyle with unique IPs, opening up a new era of outlet shopping experiences. In terms of business formats, in addition to traditional luxury retail, it will integrate waterfront bars, entertainment venues, lifestyle brands, and cultural workshops, as well as IP-themed hotels and immersive theaters to meet the needs of the segmented consumer market and better empower the enjoyment of life, pleasant journeys, and happy experiences.

Progress update on Ruoye Tonggu Town Themed Cultural Tourism Complex
On December 6th, a visit to the construction site of the Ruoye Tonggu Town Themed Cultural Tourism Complex revealed that the current construction area is the hotel area, including hotel towers A, B, and C, and the associated underground parking garage. It is planned to complete the topping out of the main tower before the Lunar New Year in 2025, officially start the interior decoration construction in 2025, and put the entire hotel area into operation at the end of 2025.
It is understood that the Ruoye Tonggu Town Themed Cultural Tourism Complex project is located in the former Shaoxing Pingtong (Group) Co., Ltd. factory area in Pingshui Town, Keqiao Lanting Resort Area. The construction includes hotels, a copper mine life future museum, a water world, and supporting commercial offices. The project takes the copper flower blooming in the copper valley as its concept, connecting buildings with metal ribbons, forming an overall ring-shaped square, like a copper flower blooming in a tranquil valley, creating a futuristic and technological architectural form that harmonizes with the surrounding environment.
Investment: 420 million RMB Dream Ice and Snow Complex
Expected to be completed and operational in October next year
On December 6th, the Fuyang Municipal People's Government released a message on its WeChat official account. The construction of the "Dream Ice and Snow" complex in Fuyang, Anhui Province is proceeding in an orderly manner, and the foundation excavation is currently underway. According to the construction plan, it is expected to be completed and operational in October next year.
It is understood that the "Dream Ice and Snow" complex has a construction area of 28,000 square meters and will include an indoor skiing area, an ice and snow theme park, a curling area, and a multi-functional service center. Among them, the cold area will reach 15,000 square meters, with a planned 165-meter-long ski slope. The ice and snow theme park is designed for children aged 3 to 12, creating a children's activity area combining ice rinks and amusement facilities. In addition, the project also plans to build a snow play area with a temperature of -5℃, featuring ice slides, snow slides, ice sculpture exhibitions, and snow bumper cars.

Suzhou Amusement Park Candy World to open on December 28
Recently, Suzhou Amusement Park officially announced that Candy World will open on December 28th. Candy World has a total investment of 300 million RMB, covers an area of 12,000 square meters, and features more than 20 parent-child amusement facilities and more than 80 interactive experiences, providing parents with a multi-dimensional space for parent-child companionship.
It is introduced that Candy World is adjacent to Suzhou Amusement Park's Forest World and Forest Water World, and has four themed areas: Fantasy Kingdom, Rainbow Town, Candy Planet, and Cloud Garden. Among them, the 1st floor Fantasy Kingdom is the country's first immersive MR children's amusement park, featuring Asia's first interactive mixed-media amusement equipment "Popcorn Mayhem," the thrilling "Candy Tower," and the giant "Caterpillar." The 2nd floor Rainbow Town is the country's first street-view children's driving simulation experience project, where children can experience traffic experiences and rules firsthand. The 3rd floor Candy Planet is the country's first candy-themed metaverse immersive experience area, featuring a CAVE cinema and the "Nebula Flying Car," a light and shadow bumper car powered by multi-dimensional sensing technology, and the "Bobo Luo Mother Star" dimensional space. In addition, children can run freely on the 20,000 square meters of natural lawn of "Wide Wild Outfield."

Scheduled for completion before the 2025 Spring Festival
On December 7th, the Qingtian Media WeChat official account released a concept image of Qingtian's upgraded night view and revealed that the project is expected to be completed before the 2025 Spring Festival.
It is understood that the Taihe Lake Night Tour Project, with a total investment of approximately 100 million RMB, is a major project that fills the gap in Qingtian County's night tourism economy. The project will upgrade the lighting of four bridges along the route, unify the control of building lighting on both banks, and construct large-scale fountain facilities and laser paintings on the Tushan mountain body to showcase Qingtian's five major cultures: "Oujiang River, Stone Carving, Agricultural Heritage, Overseas Chinese, and Celebrities." It will create landscape nodes, a scenic night tour system, and a commercial street along the 4.5-kilometer section of the Taihe Lake urban core area, allowing tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery during the day and the charming scenery of light and shadow at night.
Hubei Xiangyang Haichang Ocean Exploration Museum Project Makes New Progress
December 13 news: 90% of the exterior decoration construction of the Hubei Xiangyang Haichang Ocean Exploration Museum project has been completed, and interior decoration is also accelerating.
It is understood that the Haichang Ocean Exploration Museum project is located in the East Jin New District, Hanjiang Eco-city. It features three themed performance venues, six science popularization areas, eight biological exhibition areas, multiple interactive entertainment projects, and immersive research and study classrooms, providing visitors with an immersive experience.
As the first IP-themed ocean exploration museum in Hubei Province, the Haichang Ocean Exploration Museum innovatively creates a zero-distance interactive experience project of "technology + culture + performance". Among them, the Mermaid Theatre, one of the three theaters, introduces digital technology to carry out a virtual and real combination of mermaid performances; the sea lion theater creates an immersive sea lion performance and animal interaction environment, offering visitors a visual feast.
Phase I Project Hotel Main Building of Zhejiang Tonglu Kaiyuan Senbo Tourism Resort Officially Topped Out
On December 11, the main building of the Phase I project of Tonglu Kaiyuan Senbo Tourism Resort officially topped out.
It is understood that the Tonglu Kaiyuan Senbo Tourism Resort covers an area of about 3 square kilometers and has a total investment of about 2 billion yuan. The resort is developed and constructed in three phases. It plans to use the "land, sea, and air" three-dimensional transportation system of Fenshui River and its banks as a link to connect the "equestrian + Senbo Fun Amusement Area", "red lantern + Senbo wild luxury resort area", and "riverside leisure commercial street area", forming an overall planning structure of "one belt and three areas", and creating a unique one-stop tourism and resort destination in East China.
The Phase I project, whose main building has been topped out, is located opposite the Hangzhou Equestrian Center, covering an area of about 100 mu and with an investment of about 700 million yuan. It includes a river view resort hotel and related entertainment supporting facilities, focusing on creating an all-weather, all-age high-end micro-vacation integrated complex integrating eating, drinking, playing, having fun, traveling, shopping, and entertainment. The construction is expected to take two years.
Jiangsu Yangzhou Gelin Park Starts Construction
On the morning of December 8, the groundbreaking ceremony of Yangzhou Gelin Park was held in Yangzhou High-tech Zone.
It is understood that Yangzhou Gelin Park combines emerging industries such as cinemas, supermarkets, cute pets, children's playgrounds, 24 sets, gyms, rooftop basketball courts, and live house music performances. It uses innovative concepts to promote the transformation and upgrading of shopping malls and the development of symbiosis, and will present a new cultural tourism and commercial complex integrating culture, tourism, leisure, and commerce.
Yangzhou Gelin Park is not just positioned as a shopping mall, but digs deep into the characteristics of the deep integration of Yangzhou's local culture and commercial consumption scenarios, integrating Yangzhou's historical culture into the consumption commercial scene, creating a 24-set exclusive to Yangzhou, and recreating the prosperous life scene of Yangzhou with a strong sense of fireworks.
Zhejiang Taizhou Shenxian Huagu Le Yuan Phase II Project Starts Construction
On December 10, the groundbreaking ceremony of Shenxian Huagu Le Yuan Phase II was held at Shenxian Huagu Flower Park in Xianju County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province.
It is introduced that Shenxian Huagu Le Yuan Phase II covers an area of about 300 mu. Harbin Ice and Snow World's "Asian Heart" Main Tower Topped Out
On December 11, the tallest ice building in the 26th Harbin Ice and Snow World Park—the main tower "Asian Heart"—was successfully topped out and entered the final stages of fine polishing and lighting effect debugging.
It is understood that the main tower "Asian Heart" is located on the main axis of the park, inspired by the official emblem of the Olympic Council of Asia. The heart of the tower is a radiant sun, symbolizing the vigorous development of Asia and Asian sports; on both sides are dragons symbolizing East Asia and eagles symbolizing Central Asia and West Asia, expressing the beautiful yearning of Asian countries for unity and common development.
The main body of the "Asian Heart" is composed of staggered ice columns, which is tall and majestic, solemn and shocking. The main tower has also made innovations in lighting technology, introducing a full-color dynamic lighting linkage system. This system can flexibly switch colors and modes according to pre-set programs or through wireless cloud platform control, presenting visitors with more gorgeous and rich visual effects.
Jiangsu Taizhou Baobao Manor Cultural Tourism Complex Obtains Construction Permit
On December 6, the Baobao Manor Cultural Tourism Complex, jointly built by China Communications Second Harbor Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. and Dinosaur Park Cultural Tourism Group Co., Ltd., obtained a construction permit and officially started construction.
It is understood that the Baobao Manor has a planned area of more than 150 mu. Adhering to the development concept of integrating "production, life, and ecology", it plans themed content such as a dreamy village, a wonderful garden, and a miracle forest with creative forms of "village, field, and forest". Using the original dinosaur baby "Baobao" as the IP image, it integrates popular science research and study, humanities experience, and situational commerce, aiming to create a high-IP, high-composite, high-stickiness, and deep-experience dinosaur-themed parent-child exploration park. Through scientific planning and careful design, relying on the Dinosaur Park Cultural Tourism Group's more than 20 years of deep accumulation in the field of theme parks, Baobao Manor will become a comprehensive cultural tourism project integrating popular science, research and study, and entertainment.
Yingdu Cultural Theme Park, Yingdu Sports and Leisure Theme Park
Commence Construction
On December 7, the official WeChat account of Huairou Rongmei released news. The Yingdu Cultural Theme Park and Yingdu Sports and Leisure Theme Park, located in Yangsong Town, the core carrier of China Yingdu, recently started construction and are expected to be completed and open to the public in 2025.
It is understood that the Yingdu Cultural Theme Park adopts a layout of "one ring, two hearts, and five areas", including a cultural fitness and sports ring, a central square, a park cultural center, a leisure and entertainment activity area, a sunny lawn recreation area, a shady quiet rest area, a themed sightseeing area, and an ecological landscape area, with a total area of 3.77 hectares.
The Yingdu Sports and Leisure Theme Park will be built into a comprehensive sports and fitness venue with the theme of "sports + film and television interaction". The park adopts a layout of "one ring and seven areas", including a vibrant fitness ring, an entrance image area, a competitive sports area, a children's playground, a senior activity area, and a smart sports area, with a total area of 1.89 hectares.
Wuxi Rongyao Zhiguang Ferris Wheel
Officially "started turning" on December 12
The "Rongyao Zhiluo" Ferris wheel officially opened on December 12th.
It is reported that the "Rongyao Zhiluo" has a wheel diameter of 88 meters, a total height of over 100 meters, and takes about 18 minutes to complete one rotation. The Ferris wheel has 36 cabins, each accommodating 6 people, allowing for 216 people to ride simultaneously. Every 6 cabins form a group, distinguished by colors such as red, blue, purple, and orange. Each group includes a yellow VIP cabin. The VIP cabin features a dreamy starry sky ceiling, wireless phone charging, and a high-altitude KTV system. It is understood that the inner circle of the "Rongyao Zhiluo" is equipped with 432 LED light strips, totaling 100,000 point light sources, while the outer circle has 2600 LED light strips. Through various color and pattern changes, it showcases different themes and atmospheres. When rotating at night, the interplay of light and shadow creates a unique visual effect rarely seen in China, including images and videos.

The Dongguan Memory First Phase Opening Ceremony and Guancheng Granary Area groundbreaking ceremony was held on December 12th.
It is reported that the Dongguan Memory First Phase is positioned to "reinvigorate the vitality of the ancient city, creating a vibrant engine of diverse coexistence and a model historical district suitable for living, working, and tourism." It is reported that the Tangshan Carnival Animal City Water World project is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Daqi Road and Dongdao Road in Lunan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. With a total construction area of 20,000 square meters, it mainly includes a carnival park, equipment rooms, an outdoor machine room, and an outdoor recreation area.
