The 2025 Spring Festival holiday is approaching. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism reminds all tourists:
I. Prepare for your trip. Learn about the weather, transportation, and opening hours and ticket booking measures of the tourist attractions along the way and at your destination in advance. Pay attention to weather warnings and forecasts for low temperatures, rain, snow, and ice in winter, plan your travel route and time reasonably, and prepare necessary items and common medicines. Choose travel agencies with business qualifications and do not go to undeveloped, unsafe areas. Closely monitor the security situation and precautions in outbound tourist destinations and do not go to high-risk areas.
II. Increase safety awareness. During your travels, pay attention to safety warnings, risk alerts, and tourist notices, and strengthen your own safety protection. Act according to your own health condition, and be cautious when participating in high-risk activities such as high-altitude, high-speed, water, diving, and exploration projects. When participating, strictly abide by safety operating regulations, listen to the guidance of professionals, and do not do anything that may endanger yourself or others.
III. Pay attention to travel safety. When driving a motor vehicle or taking public transportation, fasten your seat belt at all times. When taking sightseeing boats, wear life jackets as required and do not take sightseeing boats that are not equipped with necessary life-saving equipment. For self-driving trips, check the vehicle condition, adjust your itinerary in case of bad weather, and take necessary safety precautions such as anti-skid measures. Control your speed, be courteous, and avoid fatigue driving and drunk driving.
IV. Pay attention to fire safety. When staying in a hotel, proactively learn about emergency evacuation routes, do not lie on the sofa or bed to smoke, do not throw cigarette butts around, and pay attention to electrical safety. When visiting scenic spots, public cultural venues, and cultural relics protection units, strictly abide by fire safety and various safety management regulations, and follow the guidance of staff in case of emergencies. Pay attention to fire prevention and disaster prevention during outdoor activities.
V. Advocate civilized travel. Abide by laws, regulations, and public order and good customs. Follow the instructions for visiting and touring venues, protect the ecological environment, cherish cultural relics and historical sites, cherish public facilities, and consciously resist uncivilized behavior. Respect the rights and interests of others, rationally handle disputes, and be tolerant and considerate of traffic congestion and increased tourist traffic. Practice the "light plate action", be environmentally friendly and economical, and travel with low carbon emissions.
