On March 19, 2025, the 2025 Cultural, Commercial, and Tourism Integration Empowerment Forum, jointly hosted by the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (CAAPA) and the China Chamber of Commerce, was successfully held in Beijing.

Wang Min, Executive President and Secretary-General of the China Chamber of Commerce

In his address, Wang Min, Executive President of the China Chamber of Commerce, stated that the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism proposed "using culture to shape tourism and tourism to highlight commerce," promoting the revitalization of cultural heritage, encouraging the development of cultural and tourism IPs and cross-border cooperation with commercial brands. The Dunhuang murals have been transformed into digital art exhibitions, and the sales of Palace Museum IP co-branded products have exceeded 10 billion yuan. The chemical reaction between traditional culture and commercial value has already become apparent. The "Consumption Center City 2.0" construction promoted by the National Development and Reform Commission further integrates community, commercial, and cultural and tourism resources into a network, and the coverage rate of smart tourism facilities will increase by 40% this year. These policies send a clear signal: the integration of culture, commerce, and tourism is not a multiple-choice question, but a must-answer question; it is not a single-soldier operation, but a systematic campaign; it is not a temporary phenomenon, but a long-term trend. When culture, tourism, commerce, and industries such as sports, art, and health care collide and merge deeply, they will surely bloom with the brilliant sparks of "1+1>2." The China Chamber of Commerce is willing to be a "supporter" and "connector" of industry innovation, working together with everyone to create the future.

China Amusement Machine Amusement Park Association Vice President Zhao Jingtao

Zhao Jingtao, vice president of the China Amusement Machine and Amusement Park Association, said in his speech that General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "tourism is a comprehensive industry and an important driving force for economic development," and called for "promoting the deep integration of culture and tourism and cultivating the cultural tourism industry into a pillar industry." Minister Sun Yeli of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism proposed "Culture and Tourism + All Industries" and "All Industries + Culture and Tourism," emphasizing the important role of culture and tourism in promoting high-quality economic and social development. This year's Two Sessions work report proposed "vigorously boosting consumption, improving investment efficiency, and comprehensively expanding domestic demand," and clearly stated tasks such as "deepening the construction of international consumption center cities and improving the county-level commercial system." This provides strong policy guidance and market support for the further deep integration and empowerment development of culture, commerce, and tourism. Driven by factors such as technological progress, industry iteration, and changes in demand, the three major industries of culture, commerce, and tourism are accelerating their integration, restructuring the value chain, and continuously giving birth to new industries, products, and services. The China Tourism Association has always attached great importance to and is committed to promoting the integration of culture, commerce, and tourism industries and industrial innovation. It gives full play to the association's resource advantages in content supply, and through holding tourism, leisure, and entertainment industry expositions, special forums on culture, commerce, and tourism, and establishing professional committees on culture, commerce, and tourism, it continuously promotes the technological equipment upgrades, scene content improvements, operational management innovations, and business model optimizations of the culture, commerce, and tourism industry, giving cultural, commercial, and tourism products new added value and development momentum, and helping the prosperity of "Culture and Tourism + All Industries." It is hoped that in the next step, we will deepen cooperation with the China Chamber of Commerce to further enrich the high-quality supply of cultural, commercial, and tourism products and services, cultivate new industries and new scenarios for consumption, boost the vitality of commercial consumption, renew the momentum of economic development, and promote the overall upgrading and high-quality development of the cultural, commercial, and tourism industry.
