Located in the core area of Huanlongqi Bay in Dapeng New District, Shenzhen, it is adjacent to Dapeng Fortress, known as the "root of Pengcheng," to the north; the world's largest Lego park under construction to the south; the Lugushan Forest Park to the west; and the vast bay area sea view of Longqi Bay to the east. The first one-stop coastal leisure resort in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will rise from the ground, adding another popular tourist destination to the Greater Bay Area.
On May 7, 2025, China Travel Senbo (Shenzhen) Tourism Resort Co., Ltd. (a joint venture company established by Hong Kong China Travel International Investment Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Kaiyuan Senbo Tourism Investment Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Dapeng New District Investment Holding Co., Ltd.) successfully won the bid for the G16606-0122 plot in the Shui Tou area of Dapeng Office, Dapeng New District, Shenzhen, with a bid of 146 million yuan. The Longqi Bay Resort Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Longqi Bay Resort Project") officially landed in Shenzhen.
Returning to Shenzhen after thirty years to create a full-range, diversified product portfolio
The Longqi Bay Resort Project is a tourism project that China Travel International has invested in Shenzhen again after thirty years, following the creation of landmark projects such as Shenzhen Window of the World and Splendid China Folk Village. It will fill the gap in Shenzhen's high-end resort tourism market, creating a new high-quality tourism and resort consumption scenario and a new benchmark for a full range of business types and tourism structures. It will provide a replicable and promotable "one-stop leisure resort" model for the innovation of coastal tourism products and the development of the high-end resort tourism market in Shenzhen and even the Greater Bay Area.
The Longqi Bay Resort Project will leverage its excellent mountain and sea ecological tourism resources, focusing on serving all-weather, all-age groups such as families with children and Generation Z youth. It will create a diversified product portfolio integrating high-quality accommodation, fun entertainment, characteristic dining, and exquisite vacation experiences, providing nearly a thousand high-end hotel rooms, including characteristic wooden houses, first-line sea-view townhouses, and family and ocean themes.
The Longqi Bay Resort Project, which has landed in Dapeng, will be deeply integrated with Dapeng's top-level mountain and sea ecological resources and profound cultural heritage. It will create unique ocean-themed and forest-themed food and accommodation products and experience projects, fully meeting the needs of all elements of a tourist destination. It can effectively link with various sections such as Dapeng's theme entertainment cluster, Dapeng Fortress cultural experience, mountain and sea ecological exploration, and sea sports leisure, creating three-night, four-night, or even longer vacation products. This will comprehensively enhance the core vacation experience, achieve exponential growth in consumption, and explore new models for family vacation products.
