Lotte Korea to launch "King Kong vs. Godzilla" MonsterVerse theme park

Authorized by Legendary Entertainment and Toho Co., Ltd., the world's first popular monster universe theme park, "Kong x Godzilla: The Ride," will be built and opened at Lotte World Adventure Park in South Korea at the end of this year.

This groundbreaking multimedia dark ride experience will take visitors deep into the shocking world of the monster universe, becoming the world's first project to introduce the popular movie "Kong vs. Godzilla" IP into a theme park.

"Kong x Godzilla: The Ride" is built on the original site of the "Jungle Adventure" project in Lotte World Adventure Park and is currently under intensive construction.

This new project is jointly created by Lotte World, Legendary Entertainment, and Toho Co., Ltd., aiming to present visitors with an immersive monster universe adventure experience through cutting-edge multimedia technology and immersive design.

Visitors will follow Kong and Godzilla into a "new kingdom" full of thrills and excitement, experiencing an unprecedented theme park journey.

Legendary Entertainment's MonsterVerse, since the debut of the first Godzilla movie in 2014, has developed into a cross-media empire encompassing movies, TV series, video games, and comic books.

The latest news shows that the sixth movie in the MonsterVerse, "Godzilla x Kong: Supernova," has entered the production stage and is expected to be released in 2027.

The continued expansion of this IP further enhances its global influence, and "Kong x Godzilla: The Ride," as the first theme park project in the MonsterVerse, will provide fans with a new way to interact with this epic world.

Social media shows that fans are full of anticipation for this world's first monster theme park project, believing that it will bring new vitality to the South Korean theme park industry.
