Overview of the Professional Committee of Water Parks of CAAPA Seventh Council

Over recent years, the fast-paced growth of the cultural and tourism industry has resulted in an explosive increase in water parks, which have become an integral part of China's tourism offerings and are greatly appreciated by the market. To drive the high-quality development of these facilities and meet the rising leisure and entertainment demands of tourists, the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (CAAPA) has established the Professional Committee of Water Parks, focused on enhancing the sector's core competitive strengths and fostering innovation within the water park industry.

Included in the committee are: Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Happy Valley Tourism Company, Fosun Tourism Group, Evergrande Tourism Operation Management Group Co., Ltd., Chengdu Tianyou Tourism Group, Our Sea Water Park, Chengdu Sunac Cultural Tourism Management Co., Ltd., Xiangyang OCT Cultural & Tourism Development Co., Ltd., Chengdu Lexin Investment Co., Ltd., and Jinzhou Lingdi Tourism Development Co., Ltd. (Oriental Happy Kingdom Water World).

Focusing on the unique characteristics of the industry, the committee seeks to enhance the development of a standardized system for water parks. It also intends to improve the safety management levels of water park operations, establish a platform for industry communication and learning, continuously monitor industry development trends, and elevate the overall operational standards of the water park sector. The committee will collaborate with relevant enterprises and scholars engaged in the water park industry nationwide, pooling industry resources to contribute to the innovative development of China's water park industry.
