Overview of the Specialized Committee on Non-Motorized Sports Facilities of CAAPA Seventh Council

The amusement equipment industry has experienced rapid growth in recent years, contributing to the increasing popularity of non-motorized facilities. These attractions are appreciated for their lifespan, low maintenance costs, high levels of interactivity, safety, and unique user experiences. Consequently, they have been widely implemented in theme parks, scenic areas, commercial venues, real estate developments, and community environments. The non-motorized facilities market in China is shifting from quantity to quality, with products diversifying and quality becoming more differentiated. In response to this trend, the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (CAAPA) has actively organized the establishment of the Specialized Committee on Non-Motorized Sports Facilities of the Seventh Council. This committee aims to implement national policies, guide resources towards non-motorized facilities, provide coordinated services, and assist member companies in promoting new technologies and projects in this sector, contributing to the sustainable development of non-motorized facilities.

These companies are the backbone of the development of non-motorized facilities in China. The committee will also unite and collaborate with industry experts to establish and review professional standards, conduct academic and technical exchanges, and engage in strategic research activities aimed at enhancing the application level of non-motorized facilities, promoting the application of research outcomes, and facilitating their transformation into products, thereby fostering sound and innovative development within the industry.
