Proposal on Doing a Good Job in Epidemic Prevention and Control and Safe and Orderly Opening of Theme Parks
To all member units and industry colleagues:
In order to further implement the requirements of the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in Epidemic Prevention and Control and Safe and Orderly Opening of Tourist Attractions" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") jointly issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the National Health Commission, and to ensure the safe and orderly opening of theme parks while doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control, the China Amusement Parks and Rides Association hereby issues the following proposal to all member units and industry colleagues:
I. Adhere to Prevention and Control as a Priority, Ensure Tourist Safety
All theme parks should strictly follow the latest requirements of national and local epidemic prevention and control departments, formulate and implement detailed epidemic prevention and control plans. Adhere to the requirements of limiting the number of visitors, making reservations, and staggering visits, strictly prioritizing prevention and control, controlling the number of visitors received, and not exceeding 30% of the maximum rated capacity. At the same time, establish a sound reservation system, guide tourists to enter the park at intervals and stagger their visits to reduce crowd gatherings.
II. Strengthen Management Measures, Create a Good Play Environment
All theme parks should strengthen cleaning and disinfection work in key areas such as public areas and amusement facilities, ensure good ventilation, and provide tourists with a safe and hygienic play environment. At the same time, optimize the tour routes to prevent tourists from gathering and crowding, strengthen the investigation of safety hazards, and ensure the personal safety of tourists.
III. Enhance Employee Health Awareness, Strengthen Training and Management
All theme parks should regularly conduct epidemic prevention and control knowledge training for employees to ensure that every employee understands and abides by the prevention and control regulations. At the same time, they should pay attention to the health status of employees, implement daily health monitoring, and establish employee health records to ensure the health of employees.
IV. Strengthen Organizational Leadership, Ensure Responsibility is Implemented
All theme parks should establish a sound mechanism for epidemic prevention and control and safe and orderly opening, clarify the responsibilities of various departments, and ensure that various measures are implemented in place. At the same time, strengthen communication and cooperation with local government departments to jointly do a good job in epidemic prevention and control and safe and orderly opening.
V. Actively Respond to Changes in the Epidemic Situation, Flexibly Adjust Operational Strategies
All theme parks should flexibly adjust their operational strategies according to changes in the epidemic prevention and control situation. Once an epidemic risk is discovered, they should immediately take corresponding measures, and suspend operations if necessary, to ensure the safety of tourists and employees. At the same time, actively seek support and assistance from government departments to jointly cope with the challenges brought by the epidemic.
VI. Advocate Civilized Tourism Behavior, Create a Harmonious Play Atmosphere
All theme parks should guide tourists to abide by public order, maintain appropriate social distancing, and avoid gathering and crowding through various forms such as in-park broadcasts, electronic displays, and brochures. At the same time, advocate that tourists develop good personal hygiene habits, such as frequent hand washing and wearing masks, to jointly create a civilized and harmonious play atmosphere.
We firmly believe that with the joint efforts of the entire industry, we will be able to overcome the current difficulties, achieve the safe and orderly opening of theme parks, and contribute to better meeting the people's needs for a happy life.
