The year 2026 marks the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan and a pivotal juncture for the high-quality development of the service sector. On April 23, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism officially launched the thematic month activities for “May 19 China Tourism Day” in 2026. In active response to these initiatives and to unite industry-wide efforts, the China Amusement Rides and Parks Association today issued a call to the entire sector, urging all member organizations to uphold the “China Service” standard, firmly safeguard safety, operate with integrity and self-discipline, and promote integrated innovation, thereby jointly writing a new chapter in the industry’s high-quality development. Initiative for “May 19 China Tourism Day”
Dear member organizations and industry colleagues:
Today is On the day the thematic month activities for “May 19 China Tourism Day” 2026 were officially launched, in order to actively respond to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s initiative to “Enjoy Quality Tourism, Together Embark on a Beautiful Journey Across Our Land,” the China Amusement Rides and Parks Association hereby issues the following appeal to all member organizations and the industry:
I. Practice “China Services” Empowering a Better Life
Deeply put into practice The “China Services” philosophy seeks to improve infrastructure, enhance operational and management standards, and implement measures that benefit the public, thereby better meeting the people’s spiritual and cultural needs.
II. Uphold Strict Standards to Ensure Tourist Safety
Fully implement the principal responsibility for safety, improve the mechanism for identifying and addressing potential hazards, refine emergency response plans, and conduct regular drills to ensure that visitors can enjoy their trips with peace of mind.
Three Integrity and self-discipline to uphold market order.
Uphold business integrity, practice transparent and publicly disclosed pricing, and eliminate false advertising and price gouging. Implement industry self-regulatory covenants and jointly resist… “Involutionary” competition.
Four , integrated innovation, Promote quality improvement and upgrading
Promote the deep integration of technology and cultural tourism, leveraging artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and other cutting-edge technologies to create innovative digital‑smart experiences. Deeply cultivate niche markets, foster distinctive competitive advantages, and encourage original content. IP development: telling China’s stories well.

Carry out public awareness campaigns and volunteer services to promote responsible tourism, encouraging visitors to enjoy their trips in a courteous and respectful manner. Establish convenient service stations to offer thoughtful assistance, such as information and emergency aid, thereby fostering a civilized and harmonious visiting environment.
Let us join hands and work together, responding to the people’s expectations with quality service, driving industry development through innovation and practical action, and contributing to the building of a strong tourism nation. 。
