About the Organizer
The China Amusement Rides and Theme Park Association was established in 1987. It is a national-level, cross-industry, cross-regional, and cross-ownership social organization (a first-class national association) composed of enterprises and public institutions engaged in investment, research, design, manufacturing, and operations across the cultural, tourism, leisure, and entertainment sectors. Its Party-building supervisory authority is the Central Social Work Department, and its guiding administrative body is the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In 2024, the Association was rated as a 4A‑level national social organization by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The association currently comprises over 1,000 member organizations, primarily consisting of cultural‑tourism investment and operation enterprises, as well as supply‑chain firms specializing in cultural‑tourism equipment and related products, thereby establishing a closed-loop system that connects upstream and downstream players across the industry chain. The association has established 16 branch organizations, including working committees on safety, standardization, international exchange, rural revitalization, and social welfare, along with specialized committees covering ice‑and‑snow entertainment, immersive entertainment, digital‑technology‑driven entertainment, culture‑commerce‑tourism integration, non‑motorized sports, indoor amusement parks, digital art, theme‑park brand marketing, water parks, planning and design, and IP management.
