On June 12, 2025, the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (CAAPA) successfully held the 2025 China Parent-Child Tourism Innovation and Development Forum in Shanghai. The forum, themed "Child-Friendly, Family Happiness, Industry Prosperity," aimed to foster a shared understanding of child-friendliness, share innovative achievements of enterprises, and explore new avenues for industry development. It further supports and promotes innovation and high-quality development in China's children's cause and parent-child tourism industry, better meeting the diverse, multi-level, and multifaceted spiritual and cultural needs of the people.

In his address, Yao Jun, President of the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, stated that children are the future of the nation, the cornerstone of shaping the future of society, and parent-child tourism embodies families' aspirations for a better life, as well as the nation's and people's ardent hopes for the next generation. Driven by the combined efforts of government guidance, market leadership, and social participation, China's parent-child tourism market is currently experiencing continuous expansion, with increasingly diverse product forms and steadily improving service quality. From traditional theme parks, zoos, and museums to emerging research and study travel bases and rural parent-child tourism projects, a wide variety of parent-child tourism products are emerging, meeting the diverse consumption needs of different families, injecting new impetus into tourism economic growth, and becoming an important vehicle for meeting the needs of the people for a happy life and enhancing their sense of fulfillment in the new era.
