Shexian signed 12 tourism projects
On the morning of April 25, the 2024 Huangshan Tourism New Product Launch and Shexian Investment Promotion event, hosted by the Shexian County Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Shexian People's Government, and the Huangshan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, was held at the Shexian Lanxin Convention and Exhibition Center.
It is reported that this event signed the second batch of key investment promotion projects, with 12 projects signed, totaling 6.345 billion yuan in investment. And launched the joint groundbreaking ceremony for major projects in Shexian in the second quarter. A total of 17 projects were launched, with a total investment of 4.974 billion yuan. This includes key projects such as the Shendu Health and Tourism Integrated Project, the Shexian Zhangtan Ten-Mile Red Makeup Resort, and the Yuliang Po Xin Yun She Boutique Hotel project. Nearly twenty major projects, including the Huangshan Wuyang Bay Tourism Resort, Shitang Shengjing, and the Baili Gallery Linglong Bay, were jointly launched.
Signing of the Xinxueguo New Energy Integration Project
On April 25, the signing ceremony of the Xinxueguo New Energy Integration Project, developed by China Energy Construction Investment Company and constructed by Guangdong Power Generation, and the groundbreaking ceremony of the Xinxueguo Residence and Tourism Resort Project were held in Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City.
It is understood that the Xinxueguo New Energy Integration Project consists of two parts: the Xinxueguo Residence and Tourism Resort Project and the New Energy Project. It spans across Chongli District and Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, and is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026. The Xinxueguo Residence and Tourism Resort Project has a total investment of approximately 2.5 billion yuan and boasts the only high-altitude difference of 819 meters and a length of 3200 meters, internationally certified by the International Ski Federation, high-altitude downhill black diamond ski slope, and the world's first mountain-penetrating sightseeing ladder with a single lift height of 638 meters. The project covers an area of 116 square kilometers, with a long-term plan for 127 ski slopes with a total length of 138 kilometers. The first phase of the ski resort has a total snowmaking area of 670,000 square meters and 17 ski slopes with a total length of 18.8 kilometers.
The resort is designed with skiing, aviation, medical care, and education as its core, extending to industries such as finance, agriculture, and technology. After completion, it will bring an ultimate experience to skiers worldwide. It is expected to attract 3 million tourists annually, greatly promoting the economic and social development of Zhangjiakou and Chicheng.

On April 24, the 2024 Linwei Release event opened at the Weinan Jianguo Hotel. At the release conference, 15 projects were signed, 6 boutique tourism and study tour routes were released, and it is planned to hold more than 80 major cultural and sports events.

On the afternoon of April 16, Huaiyang District Culture and Tourism Group and Henan Manye Group held a signing ceremony for the Congzhuang Rural Revitalization Project.
It is reported that this project implemented the Huaiyang District Congzhuang Rural Revitalization with a total investment of about 280 million yuan. The first phase is the Hehuawu homestay cluster, with a planned investment of about 60 million yuan, located on the south side of Gu Caihe River and the east side of Liuyi Pavilion Road. It will renovate and upgrade about 30 houses of lakefront residents, creating 152 lakefront rooms with views. The construction content includes a lotus art hall and a rural living room. The project features leveraging the brand of Congzhuang Administrative Village in Chengguan Town as a national key village for rural tourism, adopting a government-led, market-operated, and mass-participation approach. The Culture and Tourism Group is responsible for planning and implementation, Manye Group is responsible for operation, and the administrative village leads villagers to participate in project construction by investing in mass assets, increasing village collective economy, and achieving increased income for the masses. Injecting the cultural connotation of "Classic of Poetry, Chen Feng", it provides tourists with an immersive experience of "green bamboo contains new powder, red lotus falls old clothes".
Signing Ceremony for Eight Tourism Projects in Liu Heng Town
On the morning of April 19th, 2024, the Zhoushan Archipelago-Liu Heng Island (Ningbo) Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Ningbo. At the event, Liu Heng successfully signed eight tourism projects, covering various fields such as marine sports, theme parks, tourist attractions, catering, and themed homestay clusters.

On April 22nd, Tianjin Huangya Pass Great Wall Tourism Co., Ltd. signed the "Cooperation Agreement for the "Great Ming Frontier" Night Tour of Huangya Pass Project" and the "Agreement for the "Great Ming Frontier" Huangya Pass Great Wall Immersive Cultural Performance Project" with Haochen Jiayuan Electrical Equipment (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and the Third Troupe of Tianjin Pingju Theatre, respectively.
It is understood that the "Great Ming Frontier" Night Tour of Huangya Pass tourism project agreement attracted an investment of 30 million yuan, implementing immersive tourism experiences such as Great Wall lighting, real-scene performances, ancient style markets, national tide light and shadow, and lantern night tours. On the morning of April 22nd, the tourism promotion event "So Close, So Beautiful, Weekend in Hebei—Welcome to Beautiful Zunhua" was held in Beijing.
During the event, six tourism projects were signed, namely: a cooperation agreement between the Beijing Municipal Association of Culture and Tourism and the Zunhua Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism; a cooperation agreement between the Beijing Tourism Distribution Center and the Financial Street Ancient Spring Town; a cooperation agreement between the China Workers' International Travel Service General Corporation and Tangquan Palace Resort; a cooperation agreement between Shenzhen Jielv International Travel Agency Co., Ltd. and Zunhua Yishui VIP Building Hotel Co., Ltd.; a signing of the Hidden Mountain and Wild Tourism Project between Tangshan Tenglongshan Culture and Tourism Co., Ltd. and the People's Government of Niangniangzhuang Town; and a signing of the Light Luxury Vacation Homestay Project between Beijing Starlight Hengyi Film and Television Culture Development Co., Ltd. and the People's Government of Tangquan Manchu Township.

Shanghai Lego Land Commercial Street Project

According to the iJinshan WeChat public platform on April 21st, the Shanghai Lego Land supporting commercial street project is progressing rapidly and is being implemented in an orderly manner. Currently, about 40% of the project has been completed.
It is understood that the Lego Land supporting commercial street project, "Infinite Colorful Li," is located next to the west side of the Shanghai Lego Land Resort. It develops and constructs boutique hotels, shopping malls, and commercial streets, covering an area of nearly 80,000 square meters and a total construction area of 250,000 square meters. The commercial street focuses on two major customer groups: families with children and "Generation Z," and has the triple attributes of "resort supporting facilities, regional commercial center, and tourist destination." The goal is to create a landmark flagship commercial complex in the northern region of Jinshan.

Main Structure of Beijing Wanli Wangfujing Outlet Successfully Topped Out
On April 22nd, the main structure of Beijing's largest outlet shopping complex—Wanli Wangfujing Outlet—was successfully topped out.
According to the Sub-center Voice, the mall will introduce approximately 400 brands, mainly international luxury, light luxury, and international sports brands, integrating lifestyle formats such as surfing and skiing experiences, avant-garde bookstores, and comprehensive sports centers. In addition, the project will also introduce the "Wanli" Art Center. Wangfujing Group's management and investment promotion teams have already moved in, and international boutiques, high-end restaurants, and trendy sports brands are gradually entering.
It is also learned that the "Wanli" project is jointly developed and constructed by Jingtou Company, Shoulu Group, and Beijing Urban Construction Group, with an investment exceeding 10 billion yuan, and a development scale of approximately 500,000 square meters. The overall project includes three business formats: "Wanli Wangfujing Outlet, Wanli Tingyun Town, and Wanli Nolan Hotel." The "Wanli" project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024 and open in July 2025, and will then become a new landmark of cultural tourism in the urban sub-center.

Shanghai Yaoxue Ice and Snow World Enters Final Construction Stage
Expected to Open This Year
According to the Shanghai Lingang New Area Management Committee, the Yaoxue Ice and Snow World located in the Lingang New City of Shanghai Pudong New Area has entered the final stage of construction. Currently, it has been confirmed that it will open this year.
The total construction area of Yaoxue Ice and Snow World is 350,000 square meters. Among them, the indoor ski resort has a construction area of approximately 90,000 square meters. It is reported that the snow world is 16 stories high, with a vertical drop of about 60 meters. The snow resort has advanced slopes, intermediate slopes with a gradient of 22 degrees, and the country's first S-shaped 3D stereo snow track, with a total length of nearly 1200 meters. Currently, the cable car for skiers has been tested and is expected to reach the top of the slope in about 2 minutes.
In addition to the indoor real snow ski resort, Yaoxue Ice and Snow World also has a competition-level standard ice rink and an all-weather water park. The water world is divided into indoor and outdoor floors, and the decoration is nearing completion. It can provide nearly 20 water entertainment projects to meet the needs of people of all ages.

Harbin Ice and Snow World Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion is about to enter the ice construction stage
On April 23rd, Harbin Ice and Snow World released news that the decoration of the cold and warm zones of the Harbin Ice and Snow World Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion is nearing completion, and projects such as sound, light, and electricity are being built at full speed. Ice construction will begin soon.
It is introduced that the Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion has a construction area of 23,000 square meters. Using ice and snow as a carrier, it cleverly connects three major areas and nine themed scenes according to the story axis, covering 24 experience projects. It integrates the latest scientific and technological achievements, uses artistic means and sound, light, and electricity interactive effects, introduces more ice and snow fun gameplay, innovatively presents Harbin's characteristic ice and snow resources, and uses points to lead the surface. With a mysterious, magical, and colorful overall immersive experience atmosphere, it creates a beautiful and colorful ice and snow smart tourism and fun world for tourists. After completion, it will become the world's largest immersive light and shadow ice and snow interactive experience hall.
The Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion is expected to be completed and open to visitors in June 2024. At the same time, the upgraded ice and snow food hall, four-season amusement hall, and snowflake Ferris wheel will be opened simultaneously.

Peppa Pig Outdoor Theme Park Project
Officially announced to be located in Changxing Island, Chongming
On April 24th, the official announcement was made for Asia's first Peppa Pig outdoor theme park to be located in Changxing Island, Chongming. As the largest Peppa Pig outdoor theme park globally, the project is situated in Changxing Island, Chongming District, Shanghai. Covering an area of 290 mu (approximately 193,333 square meters), with an investment exceeding 2.4 billion yuan, it is expected to open in 2027. This will be the third international IP theme park established in Shanghai.
It is understood that the main part of the Shanghai Peppa Pig outdoor theme park will faithfully recreate the diverse scenes from the Peppa Pig cartoon, incorporating local Shanghai elements to create a unique immersive interactive experience. The project also includes a dedicated Peppa Pig themed hotel, offering one-stop entertainment, accommodation, and dining and retail experiences. It will operate under a "best-selling international IP + creative content empowerment + full industrial chain" management model, focusing on "immersive parent-child entertainment."

Construction begins on the Jilin China Ocean World Universe Commercial Complex
On April 19th, according to news released by Fengman District, the construction of the Jilin Fengman District China Ocean World Universe Commercial Complex officially commenced. The project covers approximately 20,500 square meters, with a total construction area of 90,000 square meters. It is planned to have five floors above ground and two underground levels, with a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan. It aims to create three core functions: light luxury national trend, catering culture, and cross-border experience, aiming to become Jilin City's first 3.0 commercial scene. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2027.
Public information shows that the China Ocean World Universe project is developed by China Ocean Property. It includes a large commercial complex with approximately 100,000 square meters of self-owned building area by China Ocean Property. Planned businesses include cinemas, retail, restaurants, and children's entertainment. In addition, approximately 2,300 square meters of street-front commercial space will be developed.

Construction begins on the Jingna Township under-forest planting tourism and health care project in Jinghong City, Yunnan
On April 21st, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Jingna Township under-forest planting tourism and health care project in Jinghong City, Yunnan Province, was held at the Jingna management station of the state-owned forest in Jinghong City.
It is reported that the project has a planned total investment of 1.04 billion yuan. Construction will focus on forest resource protection, Dendrobium officinale planting, characteristic animal husbandry, resort tourism, and Dai cultural display. Mountain and water recreational products and high-end service products will be integrated, including six major sections: a visitor reception center, an observation deck, an ecological breeding park, resort tree houses, an ecological creative park, and an ecological planting park. The aim is to improve the adjustment of agricultural and forestry industries in the planning area and achieve radiation-driven development of surrounding villages in Jingna Township.

Lushun adds another tourism project
On April 23rd, Dalian Municipal Public Resource Trading Platform released information on: Phase one surveying and mapping for the rural revitalization project in the Laotianshan Nanshanli area of Lushunkou District, Dalian.
It is reported that the project is located in the Laotianshan Nanshanli area of Lushunkou District, Dalian, specifically in Chenjia Village and Guoji Village of Tieshan Street. It mainly focuses on the improvement and transformation of the rural landscape environment, the small fishing port, and the Nanshanli cherry street. Total investment: 175,676,900 yuan. The project is currently undergoing bidding for phase one surveying and mapping.

Anhui Chizhou Nuoxian Town tourism project officially opens
On April 20th, Nuoxian Town, located in Mayah Street, Guichi District, Chizhou, Anhui, officially opened.
It is introduced that Nuoxian Town covers 1,500 mu (approximately 100 hectares), combining traditional Chinese Nuo culture with the architectural style of ancient Huizhou. With the theme of "immortal heroes," it aims to create a multi-element block integrating cultural display, theme tourism, folk performances, activity markets, and leisure vacations, providing all-weather sightseeing services for tourists.
Changsha JIGAO Tuwowowo Park construction nearing completion
According to reports, the construction of Changsha JIGAO Tuwowowo Park, a key investment attraction project in Changsha Furong District, has been basically completed, with only a small amount of finishing work remaining. According to the project manager, the park will open to welcome guests during this year's May Day holiday.
The park covers a total area of approximately 90,000 square meters. Based on JIGAO Group's well-known IP images "Rabbit Flying," "Teddy Bear," and "Lucky Monkey," it has created three themed scenes: "Rabbit Flying's Scientific Exploration Party," "Lucky Monkey's Cool Competition Party," and "Teddy Bear's Enjoyable Life Party." 11. Qingdao Sea Palace transformed into an "Ocean Metaverse" park

On April 24th, according to media reports, Qingdao's landmark building, the Sea Palace, has been upgraded and transformed into an "Ocean Metaverse" park and will begin trial operations during this year's May Day holiday.
The project utilizes digital technologies such as AIGC (generative artificial intelligence) and MR (mixed reality). 12. Jiangxi Hukou County Liufang Dou Dou Park
Official opening on May 1st
On April 20th, it was reported that the Jiangxi Hukou Liufang Dou Dou Park will officially open on May 1st.
The Liufang Dou Dou Le Yuan project commenced construction in 2023, covering an area of approximately 50,000㎡. It is a family-oriented parent-child park primarily featuring large-scale, non-powered amusement facilities, combined with parent-child entertainment, science and education, and leisure activities. The park uses a bean theme and includes three main functional areas: a fitness trail, a fitness square, and a children's play area. The fitness trail is 1600 meters long; the fitness square has over 30 types of outdoor exercise equipment, aiming to create a "15-minute leisure sports circle"; the children's play area includes swings, slides, a small beach, a shallow pool, a rope net village, and a maze, creating a highly explorative and active entertainment space for children.
13. Hefei Huanqu Wangguo FunnyLand Theme Park
Opening on May 1st
On April 20th, Huanqu Wangguo's official WeChat account announced that the Huanqu Wangguo FunnyLand theme park, located in the south square of Hefei Luogang Park, will open on May 1st.
The park covers an area of over 20,000 square meters and is the first IP theme park project developed by Shanghai Hanye Culture and Tourism. It integrates multiple functions such as internet celebrity check-in spots, themed entertainment, ecological leisure, and commercial consumption, making it a prime choice for Hefei residents for weekend leisure and parent-child interaction.
Huanqu Wangguo FUNNYLAND boasts over 100 non-powered amusement facilities, including Star Wars Police, pneumatic drop towers, self-control airplanes, and spray ball cars. It combines elements such as "rockets, flying saucers, airplanes, and space" with IPs like "Classic Ultraman, Panda Xiaodidi Kingdom, and Hilarious Bugs" to create an outdoor powered amusement area.
