Recently, several tourism projects have released new news. Zhuhai, Guangdong has invested nearly 600 million yuan to build an immersive national style town, and the LOHUAShan Ecological Tourism Resort in Changchun is planning four major tourism projects: the upgrading and transformation project of the First Frontline Command Post of the Northeast People's Liberation Army, the LOHUAShan Ice and Snow Tourism Resort Town project, the Wedding Love Culture Theme Park, and the Yuanjiacun Tourism project, with a total investment of approximately 5 billion yuan. Let's take a look at the details of these projects!
Zhuhai Builds Immersive National Style Town
On August 9, Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources issued a pre-approval announcement for the Phase I construction project of the Huitongji Tourism Project A area (41,000 square meters) south of Tangjia Huitong South Road, Zhuhai High-tech Zone, indicating further progress in the project.
The announcement shows that the project is located south of Huitong South Road and west of Beijing Normal University in the Nazhou area of Zhuhai High-tech Zone, covering an area of approximately 41,000 square meters. The planned land use is for tourism and supporting facilities, including hotels, offices, and commercial areas.
It is understood that the entire project will be built into an immersive themed national style town integrating "national tide street, immersive entertainment, co-creation office, and themed hotel," combining culture, commerce, tourism, and industry. It will not only bring commercial and hotel facilities to the area but also create a new tourism brand for Zhuhai.
According to Zhuhai's 2024 key construction project plan, the total investment of the Huitongji Tourism Project is approximately 597 million yuan. The project will run from February 2024 to July 2026, with a planned completion date of July 2026.
What will the national style town look like? The previous project design service bidding announcement mentioned that the design involves some imitation ancient buildings, with complex technical requirements and cultural significance.
From the latest released renderings, we can see that the project adopts an imitation ancient architectural design style, with pavilions, towers, and eaves and ridge decorations... outlining the beautiful shadow of Oriental aesthetics. The light ink and wash national tide street area presents a visually ancient experience for tourists.
As early as last July, the land plot where the project is located was acquired by Zhuhai Gaoxin Huitongji Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. for a total price of 105 million yuan. The bidding information shows that the plot will be divided into two areas, A and B. Area A has a land area of 22724.43 square meters, and Area B has 18125.69 square meters. It will be developed into a tourism project integrating entertainment, health, hotels, offices, and commerce.
Among them, tourism facilities (including entertainment and health) ≥ 8850.12 square meters, accounting for 21.7%; supporting facilities (commercial) ≤ 21500 square meters, accounting for 52.6%; supporting facilities (office) ≤ 3500 square meters, accounting for 8.6%; supporting facilities (hotel) ≤ 7000 square meters, accounting for 17.1%.
Changchun LOHUAShan Plans Four Major Tourism Projects
Recently, the LOHUAShan Ecological Tourism Resort has focused on building "Ice and Snow LOHUAShan, Summer Resort LOHUAShan, Sports LOHUAShan, Health Preservation LOHUAShan, and Food LOHUAShan." Following the path of "prioritizing investment attraction, four-zone linkage, and platform support," it has focused on planning four major tourism projects: the upgrading and transformation project of the First Frontline Command Post of the Northeast People's Liberation Army, the LOHUAShan Ice and Snow Tourism Resort Town project, the Wedding Love Culture Theme Park, and the Yuanjiacun Tourism project, striving to create a "beautiful LOHUAShan" with high ecological value, high economic quality, high cultural taste, and high people's livelihood well-being.
1. Upgrading and Transformation Project of the First Frontline Command Post of the Northeast People's Liberation Army
The upgrading and transformation project of the First Frontline Command Post of the Northeast People's Liberation Army plans to invest 500 million yuan. The project is located in Lijiatun, Tongxin Village, Quannongshan Town, LOHUAShan Ecological Tourism Resort (former site of the frontline command post). The first phase of the project plans to use 45,000 square meters of land. Among them, the memorial hall will cover approximately 5,000 square meters, with a construction area of approximately 20,000 square meters. Other areas will create immersive experience scenes.
At the same time, nostalgic-themed rural homestays will be developed using the collective construction land in Lijiatun. After the upgrading and transformation, this place will gradually play the functions of cadre training, patriotic research and practice, national defense education, and military training for primary and secondary school students, creating a "red culture + rural revitalization" demonstration area for the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism.
2. LOHUAShan Ice and Snow Tourism Resort Town Project
The LOHUAShan Ice and Snow Tourism Resort Town project plans to invest 200 million yuan. The project is located in the Sijiang area of the LOHUAShan Ecological Tourism Resort, covering a planned area of 6 square kilometers. It will build an ice and snow town, hot spring resort hotel, observatory, and water leisure area around the LOHUAShan Ski Resort, creating a multi-functional tourism complex.
Among them, the all-season mountain sports area, as the core area, will build a public skiing area, a youth skiing area, an all-season skills park, an aerial skills training base, a public ski equipment hall, a youth ski equipment hall, and athlete apartments, using high-quality products and services to enhance the regional reputation of ice and snow tourism.
3. Wedding Love Culture Theme Park Project
The Wedding Love Culture Theme Park project plans to invest 1 billion yuan. The project is located west of Quannong Street in the LOHUAShan Ecological Tourism Resort, covering a planned area of approximately 168,000 square meters. This project mainly constructs a wedding base, wedding banquet hotel, commercial market, riverside wedding banquet, and "Destined for Life" love culture street area. It will introduce well-known wedding banquet hotels and wedding photography companies to create a Changchun wedding love culture theme park.
4. Yuanjiacun Tourism Project
The Yuanjiacun Tourism Project plans to invest 1.5 billion yuan. The project is located at the intersection of Jilin Road and Ice and Snow Road in the LOHUAShan Ecological Tourism Resort, with a total planned land area of 145,000 square meters and a construction area of 150,000 square meters. This project will create a characteristic food street, a Korean-style street, snow village homestays, live e-commerce, and a logistics park. In the future, it will introduce well-known characteristic foods from various regions in the province and well-known domestic homestay brands. By cultivating the primary and secondary customer markets within 300 kilometers, it will strengthen repeated consumption and create a destination for citizens and tourists to gather for weekend or evening leisure.
