In July 2024, Futuroscope, a popular theme park in France, opened a new water entertainment complex—Aquascope—to extend visitor stay times. This creates a new model for family/parent-child water entertainment projects, integrating traditional water parks, outdoor rafting, and modern multimedia digital interactive technology.

This new indoor water park covers an area of over 6,000 square meters, with a distinct theme combining water and holographic projection interaction to provide a revolutionary experience. It boasts three unique immersive experience spaces, eight uniquely shaped slides, a wave pool, and a 3,500-square-meter outdoor open space.

The park has four main areas: Immersive Zone, Sensory Zone, Family Zone, and Outdoor Space.

Immersive Zone Through all-day, all-area integration of water and digital media technology, transforming the space and immersing visitors in a fantastic virtual aquatic world.

Sensory Zone As the name suggests, this is an interactive area for tactile, visual, and other senses, featuring eight uniquely shaped slides, a wave pool, and a tea bar.

Family Zone A family area with a children's area and slides suitable for all ages, including mini-sboggans, a water maze, and many other animals, as well as Kraki, a giant alien octopus, the park's mascot.

Outdoor Space On sunny days, explore more fun at the outdoor beach and pool. There is also a dynamic river connecting the indoor and outdoor areas, providing thrilling rafting entertainment.

"Abyss of Light" is one of the immersive experience spaces. It takes visitors into a captivating immersive world, combining holographic projection, spatial audio, lighting, digital interactive interaction, and the synchronized programming of carefully designed water effects.

When a comet hits the earth, waves surge from the water, simulating the impact and synchronizing with the dynamic images.

The "Bay of Light" immersive experience area is a mysterious bay inhabited by strange and wonderful wildlife; there is also an interactive beach filled with bioluminescent particles, where visitors can learn more about the alien creature Kraki.

Traverse the mysterious canyon and explore Kraki's dwelling.

Multi-sensory stimulation of sight, hearing, and touch immerses children in this world.

Designing a projection system in a large aquatic environment is not an easy task. This is what makes Aquascope unique, and it represents a revolutionary innovation in projection technology.

Fantastic light and shadow of different shapes diffuse at the bottom of the water. Looking down from the water surface, it's like being in a magical world. Touching these light and shadows, they seem to jump on your fingertips, bringing a refreshing touch. This unique experience completely immerses visitors in a wonderful visual and sensory feast, with every detail telling a mysterious and captivating story.

The shallow water area simulates a beach, and the light and shadow effects of "blue tears" complement each other, making visitors feel like they are on a dreamy beach. Combined with interactive technology, every step on the beach triggers blue light spots, like stars twinkling underfoot. Visitors can not only enjoy the visual shock but also participate in the creation of this magical scene through touch and movement, experiencing unprecedented fun.

The dynamic rafting area provides visitors with a new experience through light and shadow interaction. The constantly changing fantastic light and shadow on both sides of the waterway and on the water surface are like a dream world, providing visitors with the fun of interacting with the virtual world and bringing an immersive and unique experience.
