On September 20, 2024, the 2024 Urban Renewal and Urban Park Quality Improvement Seminar, hosted by the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (CAAPA) and undertaken by Juma (Tianjin) Cultural Tourism Industry Development Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Tianjin. Zhang Jie, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Municipal Urban Management Committee

Zhang Jie, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Municipal Urban Management Committee, stated that currently, the development of urban parks in Tianjin centers around the overall goals of "expanding functions, serving the public, and differentiated development." Adhering to the principle of parks being "public," a three-tiered park system of "suburban parks-urban parks-pocket parks" has been gradually established. The Municipal Urban Management Committee will further proactively integrate into and serve the "Ten Actions," innovate the "Park+" model, and use three years to pilot and drive the revitalization of various resources and assets, promoting the transformation and upgrading of urban parks and creating a successful "park chapter" in improving the level of urban modernization governance!

Yao Jun, President of the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions

In his address, Yao Jun, President of the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, stated that with the continuous deepening of the national supply-side structural reform, China's urbanization development has shifted from incremental construction to stock renewal. In the context of stock renewal, how to achieve systematic optimization of urban space, promote the improvement and efficiency of urban parks, and fully utilize the ecological, social, and economic benefits of urban parks to further promote urban modernization is an important issue in current socio-economic development. The China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions' hosting of the Urban Renewal and Urban Park Quality Improvement Seminar is guided by Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought and the park city concept, learning and implementing the State Council's "Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Service Consumption," and implementing the relevant work arrangements of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It aims to continuously optimize and expand the supply of tourism and leisure services, expand the service functions of urban parks while upholding their public welfare attributes, cultivate new spaces for shared well-being, promote the open sharing and sustainable development of urban parks, explore innovative integration and new consumption experiences of "Park + Culture and Tourism," improve the safe operation level of urban parks, and better meet the growing aspirations and needs of the people for a better life.
