China Amusement Machine and Amusement Park Association Awarded 4A-Level National Social Organization
On December 2, the Ministry of Civil Affairs issued the "Announcement on the 2024 National Social Organization Evaluation Grades (Second Batch)" (Ministry of Civil Affairs Announcement No. 575). After the preliminary evaluation and the final review and announcement by the National Social Organization Evaluation Committee, the China Amusement Machine and Amusement Park Association (CAAPA) was rated as 4A. Established in 1987, the China Amusement Machine and Amusement Park Association is a national industry organization across industries, regions, and ownership systems, composed of investment, research, design, manufacturing, sales, and education enterprises and institutions in China's cultural tourism industry. The association currently has nearly a thousand members, including well-known domestic and foreign cultural tourism groups and theme entertainment groups, such as OCT Group, Chimelong Group, Haichang Ocean Park Group, Dinosaur Park Group, Harbin Sun Island Group, Suzhou High-tech Tourism Industry Group, Disney, and Universal Resorts; Member units also include large and small amusement equipment manufacturers, sports and entertainment equipment manufacturers, high-tech cultural tourism equipment manufacturers, cultural performance companies, film and animation companies, and cultural tourism planning, design, construction, and construction companies.
Industry associations are an important force in economic construction and social development. The China Amusement Association resolutely implements the requirements of the 20th Session of the Third Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on "deepening the reform of industry associations and chambers of commerce," consciously benchmarking and aligning with the requirements of deepening reform and high-quality development, actively participating in the social organization evaluation work of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, strengthening Party building leadership, consolidating business capabilities, improving functional construction, and enhancing development capabilities, giving full play to the unique advantages and important role of the association in the tourism and leisure entertainment field. It continuously contributes the association's strength in serving the country, society, the people, the industry, and promoting the practice of building Chinese-style modernization.
