Since 2010, the mobile game "Talking Tom Cat" has swept the globe with its fun-filled gameplay. Since then, its presence has expanded from mobile games to animation, and further into the world of education and derivative products. Tom Cat and his friends have gradually become integrated into the lives of children.

As the first domestic children's theme park to independently own a top international IP, Tom Cat Family Theme Park is an integrated, diversified, all-in-one indoor family entertainment park created by Zhejiang Jinko Tom Cat Culture Industry Co., Ltd., a listed company on the A-share market, using its well-known international IP, "Talking Tom Cat Family," as its core and with the mission of "intelligently creating family happiness."

In 2018, Tom Cat Family Theme Park first opened its doors in Hefei and Shaoxing. By 2019, the first Tom Cat Family Theme Park in Hangzhou, a project serviced by Elephant Art, had its grand opening, reaching the top of the West Lake District's popular children's park list in just three days.

To date, Tom Cat Family Theme Park has 25 stores nationwide, with Elephant Art providing services for Hangzhou, Anhui, Xinjiang, Guangdong, and the latest one in Shanghai.

Time flies, six years have passed in a flash. Jinko Culture (the client), an old friend who has worked with Elephant Art for a long time, put forward the requirement of "differentiation" in the Shanghai project.

As a long-term strategic partner of Tom Cat Family Theme Park, we need to break through the existing model of traditional Tom Cat theme parks for children, differentiate ourselves in the competitive park industry, and increase recognition and memorability. At the same time, we cannot deviate from the background story of the Tom Cat family, creating an immersive atmosphere, themed scenes, and color management.

Using design to serve commerce, balancing commercial needs with the aesthetics of design. Therefore, in the "Shanghai Tom Cat Family Theme Park" project, the designers prioritized the creation of an immersive atmosphere, relying on themed scenes, using color management as an embellishment, using the rational planning of customer flow as a framework, and using the ingenious design of rich and diverse gameplay as a driving force to create a Tom Cat park with a subversive design, version 4.0.

In the design of the "Shanghai Tom Cat Family Theme Park," the designers used the TOM & Noah's Ark space theme, combined with the concept of a future port to create spatial layers. Making the most of the height of the space, a four-story split-level structure was built, deconstructing rich gameplay while maximizing the three-dimensional spatial layers.

This creation is inspired by the core concept of "theme story." Adhering to the principle of story first, we carefully carried out scene-based design, infusing the space with the soul of the theme, transforming it into highly impactful visual communication elements. Among them, the rich and abstract sense of form design has become the most eye-catching visual core of this case, aiming to touch the hearts of the audience with unique aesthetic expression.

Given that games and fantasy are inherent to children's nature, this design and planning has been based on the perspective of children from beginning to end, aiming to truly bring a world full of fantasy and beauty into children's real lives.

The main storyline is set as:

Tom Cat and his friends live in a world with extremely serious environmental pollution. Their home is becoming increasingly worse and can no longer sustain normal life. Finding a new place to live is imminent. Against this backdrop, the Tom Cat rescue plan was born, and Tom Cat and his friends are fortunate to be among the first immigrants to board Noah's Ark.

Their journey begins in the future port of London. From then on, aboard the Ark, a new chapter in life unfolds. They diligently learn how to survive and work in a space environment, working hard to maintain the safety and stable operation of the Ark.

In terms of visual design, we use a unique magic formula to carefully craft scenes full of futuristic sci-fi feel. Adhering to the creative exploration concept of advocating freedom and breaking conventions, we first establish the unique self-tonality of the space.

By blending misaligned repeating patterns with metallic gray materials, we delicately present the unique spatial style of the future London port, creating a unique spatial atmosphere that is both technological and futuristic, yet retains the classical charm of Britain and the intertwined modern fashion sense, making the entire space visually more layered, three-dimensional, and uniquely artistic.

Through innovative techniques such as abstraction, reversal of conventional forms, scaling of elements, restructuring of layouts, and stacking of various forms, we cleverly transform everyday elements, natural landscapes, futuristic visions, and classic Tom and Jerry elements into a professional design language for spatial construction and visual presentation.

The overall color scheme uses warm colors, cleverly incorporating contrasting colors, and employing a variety of geometric shapes.
