In 2025, the sub-center will promote the planning of the second and third phases of the Universal Theme Park project, and accelerate the construction of projects such as the Top Point Park and Haichang Ocean Park to promote the opening of the "Wanli" commercial project. Actively create a high-quality world-class tourist destination

Located just a street away from the Universal Resort, the "Wanli" super commercial and entertainment complex, which has attracted much attention from citizens, will open in the second half of 2025.

According to relevant persons in charge, the "Wanli" project includes three major sections: Wangfujing welltown, Nolan Hotel, and Tingyun Micro-vacation Town. It will introduce a large number of international brands and flagship stores, taking advantage of the spillover effect of the Universal Theme Park. It is expected that the average daily visitor flow will exceed 40,000, adding new vitality to the consumption of the sub-center's tourism area.

Among them, after the completion and opening of Wangfujing welltown, it will become the largest outlet mall in Beijing, planning to introduce more than 500 well-known domestic and foreign brands. The proportion of cultural and artistic, sports and entertainment, and children's entertainment experience formats will reach 50%, and the proportion of brands entering the urban sub-center for the first time will reach more than 60%.

Nolan Hotel, as a high-end resort hotel, will provide more than 300 high-quality rooms. In addition to the infinity pool, guests can also watch the Universal Studios light show in their rooms.

Tingyun Town includes a commercial street, a sleepless city, a cluster of characteristic hotels, and Tingyun Park. It will introduce Beijing's first China National Geographic Exploration Center, Yun Chang Meng Tian Livehouse, hot spring center, French Little Prince theme park, URIDE skateboard park, and other new experiential tourism formats. It will comprehensively innovate commercial, homestay, music, art, and technology tourism scenarios to create a micro-vacation destination in the eastern region of Beijing.

Driven by the strong momentum of Universal IP, more major tourism and cultural industries have chosen to gather and develop in the sub-center tourism area, including Top Point Park and Haichang Ocean Park. The two projects will be completed and opened in 2026.

Among them, the Beijing Haichang Ocean Park project is the only large-scale ocean-themed park to be newly built in Beijing since 2000. It will be built into an ocean ecological experience and entertainment center integrating ecology, science popularization, research and study, interaction, performance, art, and characteristic catering.

Top Point Park, as an international themed indoor amusement park complex, includes Peppa Pig Indoor Ice and Snow World, Barbie Doll Entertainment Area, Snoopy and Teletubbies Experience Area, etc.

In November 2024, with the signing of IIF S.R.L. from Italy and its Chinese partner, Beijing Tiyuan Law Firm, the sub-center tourism area successfully introduced another international cooperative tourism project. With a total investment of 50 billion yuan, it is expected to create an Italian cultural experience and innovation complex project that combines speed and passion.

In addition, projects such as Le Dynamic Sports Park and Flying to Pegasus Tent Camp have also successfully signed and landed, and the "Wanli" entertainment and commercial complex has reached cooperation agreements with well-known brands such as Anta, Sanke Film and Television, and Xinghuatang. The entry of many high-quality projects and brands will provide tourists with more characteristic tourism products and diversified consumption choices.
