In 2025, centering on the popular experience of "climbing the Olympic Tower, watching the sunset, and viewing the most beautiful night view of the central axis," the Olympic Tower will further leverage its uniqueness, showcasing the cultural value of a unique urban tourism destination. The interior and exterior spaces will undergo overall renovation to provide citizens with a richer integrated experience of culture, commerce, tourism, sports, and fitness.

According to Xue Xiaofei, general manager of Chaoyang Tourism Group, the first and second floors of the Olympic Tower will be positioned as the world's most vibrant Olympic cultural and leisure destination, and the linkage layout of the interior and exterior spaces will be further optimized. At the same time, it will integrate and create characteristic industries that combine new experiences, night consumption, and internet celebrity check-in functions, covering diverse functions such as Olympic cultural exhibitions, technological interactive experiences, and publicity and promotion.

Tower 1 is positioned as "Sky Realm," serving as the best viewing and check-in space on Beijing's central axis, continuously optimizing the high-altitude sightseeing experience at 246.8 meters.

The Olympic Center area will also enhance the tourist experience on the existing basis, improving the light and shadow effects through the overall renovation of the light show project. The landscape layout of the Olympic Forest Park flower field will also be upgraded in terms of garden quality. At the same time, an upgraded version of the gourmet bus will be launched to improve sightseeing services, and the Olympic Garden market will be iteratively updated to match different themed activities, striving to make the Olympic Center area a well-known domestic and international cultural, commercial, tourism, sports, and fitness consumption destination.

The Liangma River Cultural and Economic Belt is a "golden business card" for Beijing's urban tourism. In the second phase of construction, Chaoyang District will focus on the urban renewal of Chaoyang Park, focusing on the planning concept of "from urban park to park city." Multiple locations will simultaneously promote transformation and upgrading, and after the completion of all construction, a diverse cultural gathering place integrating city and park will be formed.

The second phase of Fangzhou Lake will focus on young people, combining scenes such as the Bubble Mart City Paradise, wooden houses, lawns, and lakes to create the most relaxing outdoor trendy life social space and "internet celebrity" scene consumption area. The eastern and south gate areas of Chaoyang Park and the Heping Square area will launch landscape renovations to provide citizens with more complete public service facilities, allowing citizens and tourists to enjoy the natural scenery while also feeling the vitality and charm of the park city. It is expected that in the first half of 2025, the Sina Weibo E-sports Center and the Apelang Parent-Child Paradise will be completed and unveiled. The Sina Weibo E-sports Center, based on the concept of "carrying forward the Olympic spirit, trend without limits," will become the largest e-sports center in North China after completion, continuously enhancing regional attractiveness and exposure, and continuously releasing the commercial value of e-sports. The Apelang Parent-Child Paradise will combine artificial intelligence with Olympic sand and water to create a parent-child intelligent play landmark integrating water play, sand play, and technology.

The tennis center and the Junwangfu area focus on creating an urban release gathering place. It is reported that the Junwangfu Four Seasons Living Room will be transformed into a city living room along the Liangma River, integrating meeting guests and exhibitions. The No. 8 Mansion area will be built into a cultural, commercial, tourism, and sports integrated consumption destination.

According to the introduction, the third phase of the Liangma River Cultural and Economic Belt construction project, the Liuliwan project, will also be dynamically promoted. Positioned as "α PARK—an urban boundless waterfront park," it will enrich the waterfront consumption scenarios along the Liangma River, improve commercial quality, and comprehensively activate the overall vitality of Liuliwan and the Liangma River Cultural and Economic Belt.

Chao wai Street urban renewal phase two is about to start

In Beijing's first urban vitality innovation center—Chaowai UIC Street, the first phase of the Chaowai Street urban renewal project has been completed. THE BOX B has been unveiled, and the first Beijing store of Tsutaya Bookstore, the first Chinese store of the digital art social space MADVERSE, and the exclusive immersive interactive experience theater of Happy Twist have successively moved in. Kuntai Building has won the "Green Building Oscar" LEED Platinum certification and was selected as an excellent project in the 2024 Beijing Urban Renewal Best Practices. The appearance of multiple groups of art sculptures has enhanced the artistic atmosphere of the street, and an innovative industrial area with four major urban functions of "work, residence, study, and entertainment" has been initially formed.

In 2025, the second phase of Chaowai Street urban renewal will be launched. The renovation area will extend from Gongti South Road in the north to Ritan North Road in the south, from the south of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the west to the east of the Workers' Stadium East Road-Dongdaqiao Road, with a renovation area of approximately 125,500 square meters. The second phase project will continue the main theme of "youthfulness" in the first phase, comprehensively upgrading the industrial and commercial, architectural spaces, and urban landscapes of areas such as Fenglian Plaza, Fanli Building, Kuntai Jiuhua Hotel, and Kuntai International Commercial Street. Meanwhile, the Phase II Chaowai Street urban renewal project will also enhance the streetscape, optimize pedestrian walkways, and expand commercial spaces, focusing on creating a pedestrian-friendly, bicycle-friendly, diverse, and vibrant street scene, and building a demonstration of district renewal led by streets and public spaces.

In addition, in 2025, Chaoyang District will continue to promote the Z8 project in the Beijing Central Business District (CBD). The Z8 plot is located east of the Z9 plot, south of Jianguo Road, and west of Jinhe East Road. The project has a construction area of approximately 170,000 square meters. It will collaborate with the internationally renowned design firm Zaha Hadid Architects on project planning and design. The future development will include an underground plaza, shared atrium, and rooftop garden for office and leisure purposes; in addition, it will promote the preliminary planning of a supporting cultural center, covering multi-functional theaters, cultural and art exhibitions, brand launches, and digital art spaces. In the future, through the introduction of industrial resources and the improvement of supporting consumer functions, the Z8 project will integrate commerce, offices, culture, and art, creating a harmonious interaction between buildings and urban public spaces, and building a new generation of urban landmarks that are forward-looking, innovative, international, and modern.

In 2025, the second phase of Wenyu River Park, a "gold medal" project in the capital's ecological civilization construction, will gradually be ready to open. According to reports, Wenyu River Park Phase II will complement the demonstration area and Phase I of the park.
