During the exchange session at the Guangdong Tourism Development Conference, Gong Liangqing, President of Guangdong Chimelong Group Co., Ltd., revealed that the first phase of Qingyuan Chimelong aims to open before the Lunar New Year in 2025.

Gong Liangqing introduced that Qingyuan Chimelong has currently invested over 7 billion yuan, and the project includes the Forest Kingdom, Forest Grand Drive, and Giraffe Castle Hotel, among others. They are making all-out efforts to open the first phase before the Lunar New Year in 2025. Among them, the Giraffe Castle Hotel is a world-class themed hotel built with internationally leading design concepts, and will become another popular parent-child hotel under Chimelong. The opening and operation of Qingyuan Chimelong will further promote the high-quality development of Qingyuan's tourism industry and become an important engine for regional economic development. Qingyuan Chimelong is an industrial project designed around nature, ecology, large animal populations, and grand cultural tourism. It leverages its brand advantages to promote urban-rural integration, rural revitalization, and regional coordinated development for common prosperity.

On January 6, Qingyuan Chimelong Resort officially announced that its trial operation is imminent. Various news media software vendors had previously released leaked photos of internal facilities.
