It is understood that Donghan Town is making every effort to promote the construction of four characteristic cultural and tourism projects: an ice and snow town, a geological park, a seaside park, and the Wan'an Ancient City, based on its advantages in natural resources and historical and cultural resources. It is connecting trails such as Tianma Mountain and the Huguo Temple, and through the approach of "creating points, connecting lines, and forming surfaces," it is striving to build a comprehensive cultural and tourism framework. Among them, the ice and snow town is a key project that Donghan Town is focusing on this year.

In addition, the other three characteristic cultural and tourism projects—the main building of the Seaside Park, the Hilton Garden Inn, is expected to be topped out in the first quarter of this year and enter the decoration phase; the Wan'an Ancient City is currently developing a planning plan; and the geological park is awaiting approval from higher authorities, and professional cultural and tourism companies will be introduced for development and construction in the future.

One Industrial Park Creates a Growth Pole for the Ocean Economy
According to Lin Haoqin, Donghan Town, mainly based on villages such as Lianfeng and Wan'an, is constructing a Hanhai Blue Economy Industrial Park that includes oil and gas storage and transportation, comprehensive utilization of LNG cold energy, marine aquaculture and marine tourism, as well as marine science and technology, finance, and commercial services. Total investment exceeds 10 billion yuan 的瀚海蓝色经济产业园。
In November 2023, Fujian Meiyuan Fishery Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. won the bid for the Fuqing City 2023-01 hotel land plot at the bottom price of 12 million yuan through a bidding process. According to previous plans, this land plot will be used to build a supporting hotel project for the Donghan Town National-level Marine Ranch.

Plot No. 2023-01 is located in Wan'an Village, Donghan Town, Fuqing City, with a land area of 17,010㎡ (approximately 25.51 mu), and is designated for commercial use—hotel use, with a maximum plot ratio of 1.5. Within 3 months of the land plot transaction, the land will be handed over as it is. The bidder is required to start construction within 6 months of receiving the land and complete construction within 30 months of the start of construction.
