From Beijing's "Qiyu Sanxingdui" VR immersive exploration exhibition to Shanghai's introduction of the "Epoch of Life Immersive Exploration Experience," and Shenzhen's "Moon Landing Journey," the iconic VR large-space projects launched across the country not only showcase the charm of virtual reality technology but also bring unprecedented immersive experiences. Through highly realistic 3D environments and interactive narratives, these projects allow audiences to travel through time and space, experiencing the glory and mystery of historical civilizations, embarking on a series of dreamlike journeys interwoven with audio and visual elements.

By searching platforms such as Maoyan, Damai, and Dazhong Dianping, we have compiled a list of nearly 60 popular VR large-space projects, hoping to provide some suggestions for interested friends. We also welcome your additions at any time.

In the compilation process, we have divided these newly launched large-space projects into roughly seven categories. Among them, large-space projects with a "historical" theme account for the highest proportion, at 34%. These large-space projects use a certain period or region's historical culture as a starting point, with content mostly presented in the form of immersive images of the period's humanistic customs, cultural relics, and cultural characteristics, allowing the audience to travel through time and space and personally step into the annals of history.

Next are cultural IP large-space projects, ranking second among all the projects compiled, accounting for 22%. These large-space projects are mostly based on IPs with special cultural or intangible cultural heritage, such as "Shan Hai Jing," "Sanxingdui," and the "Silk Road," aiming to allow participating audiences to experience the unique cultural symbols of the aforementioned IPs.

Ranking third in the types of large-space projects is the science and education category, accounting for 18%. The content of these experiences includes, but is not limited to, species evolution, space experiences, and Jurassic adventures. It aims to use entertainment and immersive experiences to popularize knowledge about species evolution, space exploration, etc., for teenagers, attracting many parents to bring their children to experience it.

In addition, this year's newly launched large-space types include projects themed on film and television entertainment IPs, such as "The Legend of Canglan," art-themed immersive experiences, such as "Stepping into Van Gogh," pure science fiction fairy tale experiences, and some large-space types that focus on interactive experiences, which have also attracted many interested audiences.
