According to incomplete statistics from the China Tourism Association (CAAPA), this week (February 1-8), there were 27 key cultural and tourism projects with domestic signing and renewal progress, with the highest signed amount of 5 billion yuan. The signing briefing is as follows:
Investment exceeding 9 billion
Quanzhou, Fujian signs three major cultural and tourism projects
On February 3, Suohe Street, Caidian District held a signing ceremony for 2025 Spring Festival investment promotion projects, with four key projects successfully signed, with a total investment of 1.68 billion yuan. The signed projects cover three major fields: commercial complexes, cultural tourism integration, and industrial upgrading.
It is reported that the Shishan Town commercial complex has an investment of 900 million yuan, covers an area of 50 mu, and plans to build a 33,000-square-meter textile industry e-commerce center, a folk culture exhibition hall, and a cluster of commercial villas, creating a new landmark for the integration of industry and city; The Jinlong Fanguang cultural tourism project has an investment of 180 million yuan, relying on 40 mu of ecological gardens, developing characteristic catering, accommodation, and art studios, and activating new scenarios for rural tourism; The Suohe Town commercial complex has an investment of 600 million yuan, covering 46.8 mu of commercial and residential complexes, and improving the regional commercial service functions;

Signing of Xinfeng County Shaitian Town Cultural Tourism and Health Care Project
On February 7, Wuhan City Construction Group released a message on its WeChat public account. The main structure of the Wuhan City Construction Water World Kaiyuan Senbo Resort has been completed and has entered the stage of interior decoration and equipment installation and debugging. The project is expected to begin trial operations in April and fully open in June.
Located on the shores of Houguan Lake, the Water World project has a total investment of approximately 2.21 billion yuan and a construction area of 150,000 square meters. Themed around a water park, the project includes a high-end ecological resort hotel, indoor and outdoor all-day, all-season, all-ages ecological park, characteristic ecological themed restaurants, a business convention center, and ecological science and entertainment education, and will be developed into the largest all-weather water park in Central China.

Wenzhou Donghai Cape All-for-One Tourism Improvement Project Commences
On February 8, Wenzhou City held a concentrated commencement ceremony for major city projects. A total of 45 major projects commenced, with a total investment of 16.771 billion yuan. This includes the Wenzhou Donghai Cape All-for-One Tourism Improvement Project - Yuanlong'ao Beach area.
It is understood that this project is located at the southeastern foot of the Millennium Dawn Garden in Shitang Town, Planned total investment: 6.0 400 million yuan, The total land area is approximately 83.33 mu, and the total construction area is approximately 20,000 square meters. The main constructions include cultural public facilities, an art commercial street, a theme park, and a cross-sea pedestrian bridge. In 2025, it is planned to invest 100 million yuan, complete the basic construction of the cross-sea bridge, 50% of the bridge installation, and the construction of the art street. After completion, the project will become an important cultural street area of the Donghai Cape project, forming a cultural industry synergy with the Dawn Garden. The theme park will introduce lighting landscapes to enrich tourists' nighttime entertainment and viewing activities, while the cross-sea pedestrian bridge will become a popular attraction, enhancing the interest of the coastal greenway.

Earth Core World Project Expected to Open in May This Year
On February 2, according to Lishui Online. The Earth Core World project, located in Suichang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, will open to the public in May this year.
It is understood that the project has a total investment of 528 million yuan, a land area of approximately 300 mu, a visitor center with a construction area of approximately 10,000 square meters, 66 hotel rooms, a dining area of approximately 2,000 square meters, a commercial area of approximately 2,700 square meters, and the rest is a public leisure area. The most distinctive "Earth Core Space" area is located 200 meters underground. The "Earth Core Space" area is created through the comprehensive governance and restoration and development of the old underground mining area, integrating hot spring resources and using art + tourism methods to create a large-scale tourism complex integrating adventure entertainment, health and wellness, and mining research.

Hubei Xiaogan Tianbao Children's Dreamland Project Commences
On February 4, the Xiaogan Tianbao Children's Dreamland project commenced.
It is understood that the Tianbao Children's Dreamland, themed on the story of Dong Yong and the Seven Fairies' son "Tianbao," will be built into a children-friendly themed park with themed IPs, incorporating elements of Dong Yong and the Seven Fairies' happy life. It will be equipped with bumper cars, carousels, pirate ships, Ferris wheels, and other children's amusement equipment and activity areas, providing children with a safer, more comfortable, and happier growth space. The project has an estimated investment of approximately 120 million yuan and is scheduled for completion and commissioning in September this year.

Henan Huojia County Kangcun Town Agricultural Cultural Tourism and Entertainment Complex Project Commences
On February 5, the Henan Huojia County Kangcun Town Agricultural Cultural Tourism and Entertainment Complex project held a commencement ceremony, marking the project's entry into the substantive construction phase.
The project has a planned total investment of 110 million yuan and will mainly construct three themed parks: a pastoral theme, a beach and water theme, and a carnival duck amusement park. After completion, the project is expected to receive 600,000 tourists annually and achieve an annual turnover of 20 million yuan.
Zhouning Agricultural Park Project Commences
On February 7, Zhouning County held a commencement and completion ceremony for major projects in the first quarter. It is understood that there are a total of 5 projects commencing and completing, with a total investment of 2.057 billion yuan, including the Zhouning Agricultural Park project.
This project mainly consists of two parts: the Space Breeding Center and the Future Ecological Circular Agriculture Base. It focuses on technological innovation, ecological cycles, and industrial integration, cultivating high-quality, high-yield, and disease-resistant crop varieties. The goal is to create a high-quality agricultural product production base, expand the agricultural product processing field, develop rural tourism routes based on agricultural culture, build supporting science and education bases, and promote the deep integration of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries.
