Since its establishment, Chengdu Haicheng has taken "Focus on anti-corrosion, safeguarding quality" as its corporate mission. It focuses on the research, development, production, and construction of anti-corrosion and waterproof surface materials for water parks, hot springs, and oceanariums. It continuously explores material formulas suitable for high-humidity, high-chlorine, frequent wet-dry alternation, and acid-base alternation environments such as water spaces. With a deep understanding of the special water space environments of water parks and other similar locations, and more than 10 years of deep research and development accumulation in the anti-corrosion field, and rich construction case experience, it has become a trustworthy partner for many theme parks and water parks.
Chengdu Haicheng has gathered top talents in the industry, building a strong technical research and development team. It maintains a keen insight into the forefront of the industry. During the research and development process, the Haicheng team has conducted in-depth research on the corrosion mechanisms of various facilities in water spaces such as water parks, from pools and slides to building structures, without overlooking any detail that may be corroded. After countless experiments and improvements, it has successfully launched a series of specialized anti-corrosion materials with strong targeting and excellent performance. Not only do they have ultra-strong waterproof performance, effectively preventing water penetration, but they also have excellent chemical corrosion resistance, capable of withstanding the erosion of chlorine, changes in acidity and alkalinity, and other chemical substances in the water. At the same time, Haicheng's anti-corrosion materials also have good wear resistance and weather resistance, capable of withstanding frequent friction and water flow impact from visitors, ensuring that they are not easily damaged or discolored during long-term use.
Featured Product 1: Underwater Ceramic/Liquid Ceramic (Waterproof, Anti-corrosion, Anti-fouling Coating)
Main coating type used: Haicheng brand HCSLY-TCCY type underwater anti-fouling, scrub-resistant, anti-corrosion porcelain enamel paint
Performance characteristics: Anti-corrosion (durability reflected from the side) and anti-fouling; scratch resistance;
Applicable scope: Water parks, hot springs, oceanarium pool concrete surfaces, underwater steel surfaces in water parks, chemical storage tanks, oil and gas pipelines, cross-sea bridges, etc.;
Past cases: Xi'an Happy Valley, Quanzhou Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Water Park, Xiamen Fantasi, etc.;
Performance Test Experiments:
1. Underwater Ceramic Comparison Experiment
An anti-corrosion and anti-fouling comparison experiment was conducted using an underwater ceramic coating sample from Chengdu Haicheng Anticorrosive and another coating sample. The experiment mainly highlights the anti-corrosion and anti-fouling characteristics of the coating.
The anti-corrosion experiment involved immersing both coating samples in a 5% sodium hypochlorite solution, with only half of each sample immersed in the solution. The results can be obtained after 12 hours. (Normal experimental results: The surface of the Chengdu Haicheng Anticorrosive underwater ceramic sample showed no significant changes, while the half of the other coating sample immersed in the solution turned significantly white and was oxidized);
Anti-corrosion principle of the coating: The coating material itself has strong anti-corrosion properties.
(PS: Nitric acid or sulfuric acid with strong oxidizing or corrosive properties can also be added simultaneously for the experiment.)
The anti-fouling experiment mainly involved using a waterproof marker pen (with more marks attached to the coating surface) to draw and wipe both coating samples for a comparison experiment. (Normal experimental results: The marks on the underwater ceramic coating sample are easy to wipe off, while the marks on the other coating sample are difficult to wipe off even after multiple wipes.)
Anti-fouling principle of the coating: The surface of the underwater ceramic coating has small burr-like particles and molecules, while the ink molecules of the waterproof marker pen are large and can only adhere to its surface. The underwater ceramic coating has low surface energy and cannot hold the ink molecules.
Conclusion: The Chengdu Haicheng Anticorrosive underwater ceramic coating has good anti-corrosion and anti-fouling performance, solving the pain points in the water park coating market.
2. Lotus Effect Experiment
A water pouring comparison experiment was conducted using an underwater ceramic coating sample from Chengdu Haicheng Anticorrosive and another coating sample to highlight the non-wetting and easy-cleaning properties of the underwater ceramic coating.
Coating antifouling principle:
[Knowledge link: Why can lotus leaves achieve "emerging from the mud without being stained"?]
This is due to the lotus effect. The lotus effect refers to the non-wetting and self-cleaning properties of lotus leaves. If the surface of a lotus leaf is magnified, many tiny "papillae" can be seen, like small "hills." Magnifying the papillae further reveals many tiny "hairs." Due to these structures, when water falls on a lotus leaf, it cannot penetrate other parts but automatically gathers into water droplets. The rolling of the water droplets absorbs and rolls off the dirt and grime on the leaf surface, keeping the leaf surface clean. This is the famous "lotus effect." Inspired by the lotus effect, scientists have developed practical superhydrophobic materials.
Chengdu Haicheng Anticorrosion's underwater ceramic coating is similar to superhydrophobic materials and exhibits the lotus effect. It is a bionic ceramic with a nanometer-scale granular surface and low surface energy. Since the diameter of water molecules, dust particles, and oil molecules is larger than that of the barbs on the surface of the underwater ceramic coating, they can only adhere to the surface of the barbs. Water molecules have relatively high surface energy and absorb and encapsulate dust particles and oil molecules upon contact. Due to the low surface energy of the coating, it does not easily hold water molecules, and the water molecules encapsulating the dirt easily slide off, achieving a certain self-cleaning effect.
In water parks, hot spring pools, swimming pools, and other aquatic environments, the oil secreted by thousands of tourists mixes with dust particles in the environment, easily adhering to the pool walls and forming a stain waterline. This affects aesthetics and image, reduces visitor experience, is difficult to clean, and wastes manpower costs. Chengdu Haicheng Anticorrosion's underwater ceramic coating is a bionic ceramic that meets market demand and has a strong antifouling effect, similar to superhydrophobic materials. Water droplets can gather on the surface, and dirt or dust adhering to the surface will be absorbed by the water droplets, making it easy to clean and saving manpower costs.
(PS: Similar products in the industry achieve antifouling effects but have poor anticorrosion effects!!!)
Various water treatment agents and disinfectants added will corrode the pool walls, requiring frequent cleaning. Otherwise, prolonged corrosion will cause the area below the waterline of the pool walls to turn white.
