According to incomplete statistics from the China Association of Travel Agencies (CAAPA), there were 94 key domestic tourism projects (over 100 million yuan) signed in March, involving commercial complexes, resorts, leisure and health, and science museums, etc. The signing brief is as follows: The following is a summary of the signed projects:

22 tourism projects signed in Wuhan Caidian District
On March 16, 22 key tourism investment projects were signed at the launch ceremony of Wuhan Caidian District's 2025 Cultural Tourism Consumption Season, with a total contract value of 17.5 billion yuan. Projects cover leisure, vacation, entertainment, health, and research and study tourism consumption sectors.
Among them, the Central China Aerospace Science and Technology Museum is located in the core area of the Sino-French Eco-City, planning to build three major experience pavilions: Space Exploration Center, Aviation and Aerospace Museum, and Space Agriculture Museum, and create a Rocket Square, an Airplane Square, and a Space Medicine and Health Center. The Space Exploration Center will use sound, light, electricity, and VR technology to create a deep space-themed experience project; the Aviation and Aerospace Museum will showcase "cutting-edge" aviation and aerospace facilities and equipment, allowing visitors to have close contact. The Space Agriculture Museum will showcase the advanced achievements of space agriculture technology, allowing citizens to experience the charm of the integration of science and nature.
Jiu Zhen Wonderland Drifting Resort Area, relying on the natural geographical advantages of Jiu Zhen Mountain's continuous mountains, lush forests, and mountain caves, invests 500 million yuan to build a 2.5-kilometer intelligent drifting area. The project design team incorporates sound, light, electricity, and AI intelligent technology, setting up interactive devices such as cave exploration and scene experience along the drifting route, and supporting the construction of characteristic accommodation units such as forest accommodation.
The Jinlong Fanguan Tourism Project is located in Jinlong Village, Suohe Street, with a total area of about 40 mu and a total investment of 180 million yuan. By transforming and repairing the building space and functions, it creates a variety of scenes such as characteristic rural homestays, art studios, and bonfire camping, transforming the space into a rural complex integrating "food, accommodation, travel, and entertainment," allowing tourists to enjoy the natural environment of the countryside while experiencing the poetry and beauty of rural life.

On March 13, the New Outlets Fashion Metropolis project officially signed and landed in Zhengzhou High-tech Zone. The project has a total investment of approximately 6.6 billion yuan and plans to develop New Outlets commercial complex clusters, brand hotels, high-end talent apartments, high-end medical and health clusters, and high-end fashion residences in stages within three years, creating a consumption and leisure cultural complex integrating shopping, tourism, and cultural experiences.
The first phase of the project will invest approximately 3 billion yuan to build a New Outlets industrial complex cluster, brand hotels, and high-end talent apartments covering approximately 300,000 square meters. It will rely on the Xiaoshuangqiao site area to build an "offline immersive experience + online digital consumption" full-scenario ecosystem, creating a "cultural landmark + consumption engine + digital highland" three-in-one urban complex.

Qingdao International Skiing Combat Sports Center Project Signed
On the morning of March 1, the "Mountain and Sea Tide Rises, Hongdao Invites" Qingdao Chengyang District Hongdao Street Tourism Resource Promotion Conference was successfully held. During the conference, the Qingdao International Skiing and Combat Sports Center project and the Hongdao Dongdayang Community "Dual-Age Co-Nurturing" medical and health care project were successfully signed in Hongdao.
Among them, the Qingdao International Skiing and Combat Sports Center project has an investment of 3.08 billion yuan and covers an area of 230 mu, creating an ice and snow sports center with the "ice and snow sports + competition + events + fun + experience" five-in-one function and an e-sports center with professional boxing e-sports venues and events as the core. The project is planned to be completed in March 2028, and the expected annual number of tourists will reach 300,000.

On March 1, the Wuhan Wild Animal Kingdom project cooperation signing ceremony was held. Zhu Yanfei, general manager of Wuhan West Lake Animal Kingdom Tourism Co., Ltd., signed cooperation agreements with EDG Company (USA), Shanghai Juchuang Multimedia Production Co., Ltd., and FLOW Productions Limited (Italy).

On March 3, Yuzhou District, Yulin City, Guangxi held an investment promotion oath-taking conference, at which 5 projects were signed, namely the Nanqiao Market Area Cultural, Commercial, and Tourism Complex project, the Rose Compound Peptide Pharmaceutical Factory project, the Low-altitude Economy Future City project, the Peanut Trading Market Digital Platform project, and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Slices Processing project, with a total investment exceeding 4 billion yuan. The projects involve cultural tourism, manufacturing, trade circulation, and livelihood projects.
Among them, the Nanqiao Market Area Cultural, Commercial, and Tourism Complex project has an investment of 1.3 billion yuan and will build a new Nanqiao Market, a multi-functional large-scale commercial city, and a star-rated hotel.

On March 18, the Zhejiang Nant Taihu "Belt and Road" Digital Trade Port project and the "Water Moon Fantasy" animation and tourism project were signed and settled in the Nant Taihu New Area.
It is reported that the "Water Moon Fantasy" animation and tourism project plans to have a fixed asset investment of approximately 1 billion yuan. It will build a world-class comprehensive tourism park on the south bank of Taihu Lake. After completion, it will mainly operate around hotel operations, IP authorization, water activities, and themed peripherals. It is expected that the annual operating income will be approximately 1.2 billion yuan after full operation and production.

On March 7, Qianshan City, Anhui Province held a centralized signing ceremony for investment promotion projects in the first quarter of 2025.
Among them, the Longyun Tianzhu Mountain Cultural Tourism project is located in the Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area of Qianshan City, covering an area of 1,000 mu, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. It is expected to complete the first phase of the project by the end of 2026. On the morning of March 28, the Ruian Municipal People's Government and Chengdu Rongchuang Yuxue Culture Tourism Development Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for the Rexue Miracle Zhe Nan Ice and Snow World project.
The Rexue Miracle Zhe Nan Ice and Snow World complex project is located in a core plot of the Ruian coastal new area. It covers a planned area of approximately 86 mu (approximately 57,333 square meters) with a construction area of approximately 100,000 square meters and a total investment of approximately 800 million yuan. The project centers around an indoor ski resort, integrating neighborhood centers, education and training, events, entertainment, and themed hotels. Leveraging Rexue Miracle's extensive experience in the ice and snow sports field, it aims to create a one-stop ice and snow themed leisure and entertainment destination for all ages. It will provide the Zhe Nan region with a 365-day, all-weather ice and snow sports experience and is expected to be completed and put into operation within the next few years.

On March 11, according to news from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Sinopec Shunyi Oil Depot renovation project has been signed and is currently undergoing preliminary procedures. With a total investment of 800 million yuan, the project will use the existing eight oil tanks as its core, incorporating elements such as mobile space capsules and train carriages to create eight themed living experience spaces, including cultural and creative offices, trendy shops, and children's entertainment. It aims to create a city cultural living room integrating culture, business, retail, catering, and leisure.
It is understood that the project is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Shunping Road and Shunbai Road. The current asset status is the long-idle Sinopec Shunyi Oil Depot. The eight large oil tanks have a combined volume of approximately 30,000 cubic meters. Existing buildings include warehouses, fire truck garages, and office buildings with a total area of approximately 7,000 square meters. The plan is to renovate it through the "Shunyi District Sinopec Oil Depot Urban Cultural and Leisure Living Room" project.

On March 15, a concentrated signing ceremony for key cultural, sports, and tourism projects in Longquanyi District, Chengdu, was held in 2025.
A total of 18 investment cooperation agreements were signed at the ceremony, with a planned total investment of 777 million yuan. Among them, the XR Metaverse Immersive Experience Hall project, relying on XR extended reality technology, will create the nation's first Hakka cultural immersive experience space integrating a large-space LBEVR experience hall, a dome flying cinema, and a cultural and creative space. This immersive experience space, which deeply integrates cutting-edge technology and diverse cultures, will stimulate public interest and exploration of metaverse technology and promote the development of the digital cultural industry. On March 13, a concentrated signing ceremony for modern service industries and urban industrial projects in the five central districts of Chengdu (Shanghai Station) was held. Chengdu signed three projects on-site: the Chengdu Bailian Outlets project, the Jinjiang International Group Taiyang Gongyuan Cultural Tourism Street project, and the Guo Ke Guangxin Southwest Artificial Intelligence Headquarters project.
It is understood that the Jinjiang International Group Taiyang Gongyuan Cultural Tourism Street project is located in Building C of Taiyang Gongyuan on the first section of East Yihuan Road in Chenghua District. With a planned investment of 300 million yuan, it will create a unique high-end hotel. The hotel will have a gross floor area of approximately 32,000 square meters, 21 floors above ground, and 2 floors underground, designed to five-star standards.
Signing of the Pingle County Jiali Cultural Tourism Waterbo Yaozhai Luxurious Vacation B&B Project
On March 12, the Pingle County People's Government and Foshan Jiali Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. signed the Jiali Cultural Tourism Waterbo Yaozhai Luxurious Vacation B&B project. The total investment of the signed project is 300 million yuan.
It is understood that the Waterbo Yaozhai Luxurious Vacation B&B project will be invested and constructed in Sichong Village, Dafa Yao Nationality Township in our county. It will construct 28 hot spring B&B courtyards, combining catering, rafting, picking, and family vacation activities.
March 12, The Lishui Town Government, Xuhui Group, and Leyili (Foshan) Cultural Tourism Technology Co., Ltd. jointly signed to develop and construct Hainan Zhou — Shuikouwan Humanistic and Economic Vitality Zone The newly established Leyili Hainan Zhou Cultural Tourism Industry Base project will use "Sports + Culture and Tourism + Ecology" as its core, creating an internationally demonstrative new landmark integrating sports, culture, tourism, and commerce further driving the integrated development of culture and tourism in Lishui.
It is understood that the Leyili Hainan Zhou Cultural Tourism Industry Base project is located in the Guangfo Youth Entrepreneurship City area of Lishui Town, with a total investment of 300 million yuan and a total planned land area of approximately 295 mu (approximately 196,667 square meters). On March 13, China Travel (Zhuhai) Haiquanwan Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Beyond International Racing Culture Co., Ltd. reached a strategic cooperation agreement in the Zhuhai Haiquanwan Resort Area, and both parties formally signed a cooperation agreement for the "Haiquanwan Zhuhai Beyond International Racetrack Project".

It is understood that the Gugu Resort Hotel project has a total construction area of 20,000 square meters and plans to build a comprehensive resort destination integrating ecological health preservation, cultural experience, and leisure travel. The project design fully integrates the landscape of Hongshan Village, preserving the original ecological landscape through low-carbon and environmentally friendly construction technologies. The project will create a year-round ice and snow theme park. It is expected that after its completion in 2026, it will receive more than 250,000 tourists annually, providing citizens with a new ice and snow experience scene that is "all-age and all-season."

It is understood that the Xinzhou Yunzhonghe Wyndham Hot Spring Resort Hotel, signed this time, has a total construction cost of 180 million yuan and has more than 150 guest rooms, with supporting facilities such as meeting rooms, swimming pools, and fitness centers. It is the first full-service hot spring health preservation hotel of the Wyndham Group in China. The project is expected to be completed and opened this year.

It is understood that the Mantang Hot Spring Health Preservation Resort and Cultural Tourism Comprehensive Development Project, signed this time, covers rich investment and construction content. On March 7, according to the Yuexi County Integrated Media Center, the Yuexi County Huxing Scenic Area Comprehensive Tourism Development Project, with a total investment of 120 million yuan, was officially signed.
It is understood that the project is located in Huxing Village, Toutuo Town, with a land area of approximately 120 mu. The project construction period is 3 years, and the main constructions include Huxing Canyon (jungle) exploration, a research and study hall, agricultural practice and Chinese herbal medicine base, Yingshan River homestay, and other supporting entertainment facilities. After the project is officially put into operation, the annual tourist reception capacity is expected to be 100,000 people.

"Mountain People's Home" Tourism Complex Project Signing
On March 18, Taihe Town and Hubei Yongrui Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. officially signed an investment agreement, and the "Mountain People's Home" tourism complex project, with a total investment of 120 million yuan, was located in Taihe Town.
It is understood that the project is located in the ecological hinterland of the Mufushan Mountains, relying on the superior natural endowments and humanistic heritage of Taihe Town, and will include an immersive amusement park, an ecological homestay cluster, a fruit picking and sightseeing garden, and simultaneous road upgrades and environmental improvements. The project deeply integrates "ecology + health preservation + folk customs" multiple business formats, creating a compound tourism destination integrating leisure vacation, farming experience, and cultural display. After completion, it will effectively connect the health preservation resources of the Liangzihu area and become a new regional cultural tourism landmark.
On March 31, the signing ceremony for the Foshan DiveHub International Diving Park project was held in Nanshan Town, Sanshui, Foshan. The Nanshan Town People's Government officially signed a cooperation framework agreement with Dongguan Aiqian Sports Culture Co., Ltd., with a total project investment of 100 million yuan.
After the completion of Foshan DiveHub International Diving Park, it is expected to attract over 100,000 visitors annually, becoming a world-class and the first outdoor diving park in the Greater Bay Area. The park includes training, certification, experience, photography, dining, accommodation six major business formats, creating a comprehensive diving park integrating diving experience, professional training, underwater photography, marine science popularization, and sightseeing accommodation. The park fully adopts digital operation management, providing users with a one-stop consumption experience. The diving park is divided into two spatial sections: underwater and surface. The underwater part includes underwater park, underwater history museum etc., introducing internationally advanced equipment and technology, and designing multi-level diving experience scenarios to meet the diverse needs of beginners to professional players. The surface part introduces kayaks, electric surfboards and other surface projects, allowing players to enjoy the fun of water entertainment.

On March 18, the People's Government of Wanzai County, Yichun City, and Wanzai • Gangwan Xiyuan held a cultural tourism project signing ceremony.
It is reported that the project will be located in Bucheng Village, Mabu Township, Wanzai County, with an investment of 100 million yuan. It will build a cultural tourism project encompassing business formats such as courtyard restaurants, B&Bs, banquet halls, KTV rooms, tea rooms, chess and card rooms, and local Wanzai distinctive culture. It will be a modern cultural tourism, dining, and leisure service center integrating business, conferences, cultural tourism, dining, culture, entertainment, and leisure, aiming to make "Wanzai • Gangwan Xiyuan" the first stop for Wanzai cultural tourism, a cultural window, a city reception hall, a cultural experience destination, and a food display window.

They cover diversified business formats such as national defense education, high-end health and wellness, and sports events.
