According to incomplete statistics from the China Association of Travel Agencies (CAAPA), this week (May 30 - June 6), there were 67 key cultural and tourism projects signed and updated domestically, with the highest signed amount being 200 million yuan. The signing briefing is as follows:
On the evening of June 2, Haichang Ocean Park issued an announcement stating that it plans to introduce Xiangyuan Holdings Group through the issuance of new shares and has already signed a subscription agreement. After the transaction is completed, Haichang Ocean Park will receive a strategic investment of HK$2.295 billion from Xiangyuan Holdings Group, and the two parties will launch in-depth cooperation in "ocean + mountain" tourism.
Public information shows that Xiangyuan Holdings has abundant mountain-type scenic resources, while Haichang Ocean Park is a comprehensive cultural and tourism group based on marine culture. The two parties can form a "mountain-sea linkage" cultural and tourism map and achieve linkage development. In this cooperation, Haichang will leverage its core advantages in marine cultural resources and mature operation management, combined with Xiangyuan Holdings' capital and resource empowerment, to continue cultivating the three main business lines of theme park operation, OAAS, and IP operation.

Ningde City signs 15 cultural and tourism projects
On the morning of May 30, Ningde City's cultural and tourism investment promotion conference was held in Fuan City, Fujian Province. 15 key projects were signed on-site, with a total investment of 1.578 billion yuan, covering multiple fields such as research and study tourism, health tourism, hotels and homestays, film and television production, and low-altitude flight.
Foshan City signs multiple key cultural and tourism projects
On May 30, multiple key cultural and tourism projects were signed at the 2025 Foshan City "Four Mountains and Two Rivers" Cultural Tourism Ecological Conference. The projects cover diverse business formats, including the Guangdong Qian Gu Qing Scenic Area's 10,000-person real-scene theater upgrade project, the Guangdong Hu Yu Wenyu Ecological Community project, the Sanshui Football Center project, and the Ji Zi Wan Film and Television Industrial Park project.
Among them, the Sanshui Football Center project covers an area of 300 mu (approximately 20 hectares) and, using football as its theme, will create a modern football industry base integrating football training, football events, sports health, leisure life, commercial performances, and hotel accommodation. The Ji Zi Wan Film and Television Industrial Park project has a total investment of approximately 200 million yuan and plans to utilize the local resources of century-old historical buildings, characteristic nostalgic style streets, and location and transportation advantages, using the century-old customs building as its core to create a unique short-drama creation and filming base.

Rongjiang County Zhaihao Town Taiji Health and Wellness Homestay Project signed
On the morning of June 4, the Rongjiang County Pingyong Town Chamber of Commerce and the Zhaihao Town People's Government held a signing ceremony for the "Rongjiang County Zhaihao Town Taiji Health and Wellness Homestay Project".
It is reported that the project is expected to have an investment of 10 million yuan and aims to create a boutique homestay integrating characteristic cultural experiences and health and wellness services, injecting strong impetus into the development of Zhaihao Town's cultural and tourism industry. It will use high-quality health and wellness accommodation as a carrier to showcase the unique charm of Zhaihao Town to the outside world and promote the sustainable development of the local economy.

Key cultural and tourism economic industry projects are concentratedly signed
On May 30, the Yongtai County special session of the 2025 Fuzhou International Investment Promotion Month and the Cultural and Tourism Economic Industry Matching Conference were held in Yongtai The Oulebao Ocean Culture Theme Hotel was successfully held.
The conference also held a concentrated signing ceremony for key cultural and tourism economic industry projects. 30 projects covering low-altitude tourism, smart camps, cultural and tourism equipment, intangible cultural heritage workshops, and agricultural tourism integration were successfully signed. The signing entities include Fujian Tianqingshi Cultural Tourism Group, Fuzhou Yule Valley, Fujian Xishan Slow Village, and Fujian Jianshan Mingzhu Agriculture, among other enterprises. The cooperation content closely follows Yongtai's development realities and takes into account both ecological orientation and industrial effectiveness.
Guangzhou Haizhu Lake Banyan Tree Project officially signed
On May 30, Heli Chuangxing Group and Banyan Tree Group held a signing ceremony at Yangcheng Lake Banyan Tree, officially announcing the launch of the Guangzhou Haizhu Lake Banyan Tree project.
It is reported that the Haizhu Lake Banyan Tree is located in the core area of Guangzhou's South Central Axis, adjacent to the Haizhu Lake National Wetland Park and the new Guangzhou City Culture Museum. The right to use the AH070737 and AH070738 plots was officially won by Guangzhou Ziwei Pavilion Hotel Management Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Heli Chuangxing Group, in December 2024. Wang Kun, CEO of Heli Chuangxing Group, revealed at the ceremony: As the first Banyan Tree with "future Song-style" as its design soul, the project plans to deeply excavate Lingnan cultural symbols, deeply integrating the elegant artistic conception of the Song Dynasty with future aesthetics, creating a Guangzhou city-center manor-style resort hotel, inheriting and carrying forward the essence of Chinese culture, and becoming a new landmark for business meetings and cultural and tourism consumption in the Greater Bay Area. It is expected to be put into trial operation in 2027.

Taicang Alps International Resort Phase II project starts construction
On June 6, according to news from the Taicang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, and Tourism, the Taicang Alps International Resort Phase II project, with a total investment of approximately 5 billion yuan, started construction. After it is put into operation in June 2029, it will become the world's largest snow-themed tourism resort.
It is reported that the Phase II project, which has now started construction, has a planned total construction area of approximately 300,000 square meters. It will build a world-class indoor ski resort and two international theme hotels, and introduce six entertainment projects: a polar ocean park, a snow scene adventure park, a hot spring water park, a mini park, SKY PARK, and a Qi Hang banquet show, better meeting the entertainment needs of all ages and all weather conditions. After completion, the project will work with the Phase I project to provide integrated and international one-stop resort services for tourists from the Yangtze River Delta region and even the whole country, integrating snow sports, theme entertainment, leisure shopping, and quality accommodation, igniting the snow passion of the trillion-yuan consumer market in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Sanya "Haitang Story" Cultural and Commercial Complex
Construction enters the sprint stage
On June 3, the Sanya Haitang District Tourism and Culture, Radio, Film, and Sports Bureau officially released news. Construction of the Sanya "Haitang Story" cultural and commercial complex is entering its final stage, with the complex's basic structure now visible.
It is understood that, the "Haitang Story" project is positioned as a "National Coast Humanities Living Room," with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, a planned land area of 146 mu, and a total construction area of approximately 163,000 square meters. The project is divided into north and south zones, with four major commercial themes planned: Haitang Alley, Feasting from All Directions, Haitang Fantasy Night, and the Art Center. It integrates multiple functions such as food, art, experience, shopping, and socializing, and will become a new tourist attraction in Sanya after completion.
Currently, the main streets in the north zone were completed and registered at the end of April, with approximately 35,000 square meters of commercial space meeting the standards for brand entry. Meanwhile, the south zone has completed the excavation of the foundation pit, with the foundation pit support engineering progress reaching 97%, and construction of the approximately 30,000 square meter main structure is about to begin. From June this year, brand merchants in the Haitang Alley and Haitang Fantasy Night sections of the north zone will gradually move in for decoration, and are expected to open to the public on New Year's Day 2026. The south zone is planned to officially open in 2027.

Jiangxi Ji'an Happy World trial operation
On June 1, Jiangxi Ji'an Happy World, the core project of the "Ji'an Houhe Happy Luling" brand, officially commenced trial operation.
As the first large-scale parent-child amusement park in the central region of Jiangxi Province, Ji'an Happy World is meticulously crafted to the standards of a 5A-level scenic area. It has built six core products: Fantasy Town, Animal Kingdom, Storm Bay, Mechanical Tribe, Theme Performances, and the "Houhe Star" Ferris wheel, with over 40 indoor and outdoor recreational projects, over 30 rare animals, and full-range leisure supporting facilities, aiming to become a city-level parent-child micro-vacation destination.

Yimei Nalati Tourism Comprehensive Project officially put into use
On June 5, Yili Media Center released news. The Yimei Nalati Tourism Comprehensive Project in Nalati Town was officially put into use. Currently, the hotel service area, food area, and commercial area of the Yimei Nalati Tourism Comprehensive Project have been completed.
It is understood that, The Yimei Nalati Grand Hotel project includes 11 commercial complexes, including hotels, homestays, and shops. Covering an area of 83.2 mu, with a total construction area of 77,000 square meters, and a total investment of 450 million yuan. The project uses a brand image of "standard + local differences" to create several high-end leisure and resort hotels, with a total of 982 boutique rooms and over 700 parking spaces to meet the parking needs of large tour groups and self-driving tourists. In addition, the project has created a 12,000-square-meter characteristic catering pedestrian street, a 13,000-square-meter leisure activity square, and a commercial area with entertainment formats. Through the integration of culture, commerce, and tourism, it builds a youthful and content-integrated hotel and commercial cluster street area.

Guangxi Yulin Bobai County Shuangtouling Red Tourism Education Base starts construction
On June 2, Yulin Municipal Media Center released news. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Shuangtouling Red Tourism Education Base project in Bobai County, Yulin City, Guangxi, was held in Santan Town.
It is understood that the Shuangtouling Red Education Base project covers an area of 1160 mu, with a total investment of approximately 200 million yuan and a construction period of approximately 12 months. After completion, the project will integrate red education, research and study experiences, and leisure vacations, and will promote the development of local culture and tourism.

Guangdong Shunde Beijiao Sports (Children's) Park opens
On June 1, Guangdong Foshan Beijiao Sports (Children's) Park officially opened to the public.
It is understood that the Beijiao Sports (Children's) Park is a key people's livelihood project in the core area of the Beijiao New Town, covering an area of 87,651 square meters, with a total investment of approximately 111 million yuan. The park integrates four major functions: "sports + parent-child + culture and entertainment + commerce." It includes a comprehensive sports hall with a construction area of approximately 18,000 square meters, a children's playground covering approximately 40,900 square meters, one standard football field, a fitness trail, a parking lot, landscaping, and public supporting facilities. Among them, the children's playground is themed on home appliances, using scene reconstruction and experience innovation to allow children to naturally perceive the cultural heritage of the "home appliance capital" through climbing, running, and games.

Hebei "Qinhuang's Eye" Ferris wheel
Expected to debut on July 1
Recently, the "Qinhuang's Eye" Ferris wheel, located in the Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center in Hebei Province, has entered the acceptance stage and is scheduled to officially debut on July 1.
It is introduced that the "Qinhuang's Eye" Ferris wheel has a total height of 120 meters and a total of 42 cabins, each of which can accommodate 8 people. The time from boarding the Ferris wheel to reaching the top is 13 minutes and 14 seconds, and the entire journey is 26 minutes and 28 seconds. The bottom of the cabin is made of transparent glass, which can achieve the effect of a high-altitude glass plank road, allowing for 720° panoramic viewing.

Xijiang's Eye River View Ferris Wheel Officially started
On June 3, Jiangmen Radio and Television Station released news that the Xijiang's Eye River View Ferris Wheel, with a self-investment of 16 million yuan by the Heshan Xijiang Meian Wenchuang Park, officially broke ground and entered the pile foundation construction stage. This is also Jiangmen's first giant Ferris wheel (Class A amusement equipment).
It is understood that the Xijiang's Eye Ferris wheel will be a landmark landscape with a height of 80 meters above the ground. Visitors will be able to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of more than 10 li of magnificent scenery on both sides of the Xijiang River: the majestic Jiujiang Bridge, the lush Dayan Mountain, the ever-flowing Xijiang River, and the busy shipping scene. The Xijiang Eye Ferris wheel will complete its debugging in mid-September and will begin trial operation during the National Day holiday this year. In addition to the Xijiang Eye Ferris wheel, the Lingnan Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, the Wing Chun Square, and the nostalgic green train commercial platform in the park will start construction this month and open to visitors simultaneously with the Ferris wheel.

On May 30, the commercial area of Xinjiang's first ultra-five-star hotel—the China Green Development Xinjiang Huamei Shengdi Urumqi Ritz-Carlton Hotel Cluster and Guihe PLAZA Shopping Mall Integrated Project—officially topped out.
It is reported that the project covers an area of approximately 251,000 square meters and includes three tower buildings (T1-T3) and a commercial podium, aiming to create a world-class urban living room. The T1 tower is 193.1 meters high, with floors 17 to 35 being the ultra-five-star Ritz-Carlton Hotel and floors below 16 being the five-star Westin Hotel; the 13-story T2 tower is the four-star Aloft Hotel, and the 9-story T3 tower is an office building.
The "Minzhong Bidao" Haikou Granary Riverside Landscape Project Starts Construction
On the morning of June 5, the "Minzhong Bidao" Haikou Granary Riverside Landscape Project officially broke ground. This old granary, which has witnessed the passage of time, is about to begin its transformation from a "material granary" to a "spiritual granary," injecting new vitality into the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor economic zone through the integration of culture and tourism.
It is reported that the project is located in the core area of the 5-kilometer ecological corridor along the river, "Minzhong Bidao." With a planned area of 200 mu, it will create five major commercial themed activity viewing spots, including a century-old kapok coffee shop, a wetland park fishing camp, and a grassland music market, outlining a demonstration model of rural revitalization with "touchable history, experiential ecology, and sustainable industry."

On June 1, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Beihai Silver Beach International Yacht Marina and ancillary facilities (Beihai City Living Room) project, invested and constructed by Beihai Xinyi Cruise Co., Ltd., was successfully held.
It is reported that the Beihai City Living Room project has a total construction area of 23,000 square meters. With yacht sports as its core attraction, it features a yacht marina, a sea-view specialty restaurant, an outdoor recreation area, a health and fitness area, and a multi-functional hall, meeting the needs of tourists for seaside sports, teaching and training events, catering, and accommodation.
Guangxi Liuzhou Ford Longheng Outdoor Theme Park Starts Construction
On May 30, the "New Chapter of Off-Road, Liuzhou Sets Sail—Liuzhou Ford Longheng Outdoor Theme Park Groundbreaking Ceremony" was held in the Huguangping area of Chengzhong District.
It is reported that the project has a planned area of approximately 1,100 mu and plans to build several professional off-road tracks of different difficulty levels. At the same time, it will be equipped with ten functional sections, including a four-season flower sea area, a campsite, a parent-child non-powered play area, and a bungee jumping and rock climbing outdoor sports area. It will also have the capacity to host national-level automobile exchange activities and off-road events, becoming a regional landmark integrating off-road experiences, outdoor leisure, and cultural exchange. The project's implementation will effectively drive the coordinated development of surrounding catering, accommodation, and retail industries, and is expected to increase the annual output value of related industries in Chengzhong District by more than 50 million yuan, further improving Liuzhou's automobile ecological industry chain, filling the gap in regional automobile cultural life, and helping Liuzhou build an automobile cultural life base in South China and Southwest China.

On June 1, "Fairy Tale Town," the Phase II continued construction project of the Urumqi Water Park Happy World located in the southern part of Urumqi City, officially opened its doors to welcome guests.
It is reported that "Fairy Tale Town" is a parent-child leisure park themed around checking in, taking photos, and playing, covering an area of 80 mu. Currently, 10 projects, including small power equipment and experience halls, have been put into use. The amusement facilities are tailored to the physical and mental characteristics of children under 12 years old, and each project is linked to a storyline and themed packaging.
Wuhan Happy Valley Wharf Cultural Town Reopens
On June 3, Hubei's first immersive performing arts and entertainment area centered on wharf IP culture—Wuhan Happy Valley Wharf Cultural Town—reopened.
The Wharf Cultural Town is based on the Hankou wharf of the early 20th century, recreating scenes such as banks, photo studios, tea houses, and rickshaws in the scenic area. In addition to the exquisite scenery that can be viewed and photographed, tourists can participate in interactive tasks to unlock roles such as burden bearers, storytellers, and patrol officers, immersing themselves in the century-old inheritance of the Wuhan spirit. At the same time, the 2.0 version of the live-action performance "Fighting the Wharf" premiered, telling the story of the people of Wuhan bravely resisting aggressors during the Republic of China period.
Shanghai Animation Film Studio Bubble Rice Intellectual Development Park Officially Opens
On June 1, the first theme park in China based on 10 classic IPs from the Shanghai Animation Film Studio—the Shanghai Animation Film Studio Bubble Rice Intellectual Development Park—officially opened in Shanghai Global Harbor.
This immersive space with a play area of 6,000 square meters is based on 10 classic animations from the Shanghai Animation Film Studio, such as "Havoc in Heaven," "Nezha Conquers the Dragon King," and "Shuke Beta," creating ten themed areas. From "Exploring the Dragon Palace" to "Picking Peaches in the Pantao Garden," children can transform into Sun Wukong, Nezha, or the Seven Fairies and freely explore more than 40 scenes. In addition, the park provides free Nezha and Sun Wukong Hanfu costumes; several vocational experience areas allow children to experience roles such as car washers and purchasers; in the "Afandi's Treasure" area, AI technology is integrated into sandpit games—children need to dig for "technological treasures" in the sand dunes according to screen prompts, helping Afandi fight against villains.
